Hi! It’s Author Rae here, thanks for finishing the entire fic!
3 Times We Reunited focuses on Simon and Rae mainly, and generally I wrote this fic to explore their history together because…I one day had a creative burst ig.
The fic takes place at several quite important plot points, to which I’ll list out rn:
* Note, some chapters may need a reading of some other small fics I have done in the past to understand a fuller context, check You, Me and the Journey to an End on my profile or go to a2chives.carrd.co/# for the smaller fics. I’ll list the ones needed below the descriptions.
CH1-3: This group ALL takes place in the cycle before CV. In this cycle Simon (A2) is the one who saves the world from EdEN instead of Euterpe. I wrote these 3 chapters because they are quite important to how Rae trips into the hole that is the goop man’s life.
Fics related are the Kyo and A2 scene and VInal Rae Train Station scene.
CH4: Ah, the @navyenterprise lore is literally smudged all over here. This acts as a prelude of the shit happening in CH5 and also making Rae grow affection for smol man
You can refer to the Navy’s server school AU doc in A2chives’s “For Servers” tab if you’d like, but it’s really bg info.
CH5-6: ANGSTMANIA! This chapter group serves as to how Cycle 9 ended in a mess that caused Cycle 10 to have unexpected things to happen, such as Euterpe and Tristan’s meeting. Also a LOT of loredump.
There’s no referencing fics for this one.
CH7: I wanted to depict the distress of Simon after all the crap mainly in CH5 and 6 as well as finally letting him shit his tears out from the last few chapters of just #simonabuse. At this point I was projecting LMAOOO

CH8: This is a direct retelling of CH 2 of You, Me and the JtaE but from a different perspective. I wanted to just add in a moment of just everyone together and how close Rae and Simon grew. Also I crave platonic kisses.

CH9: THE pinnacle of Rae angst, also acts as a prelude to the fights that come afterwards. Also the origin story of Simon’s name. I wanted to turn the tables on this one because who can keep a face of calmness when their friend breaks down over their crush sleeping in the next room and fights you .

CH10: Golly, the absolute pain.
This is a retelling of the final battle with Kyomura. Since Tristan’s CV Pov told the aftermath, this one tells the heat of it. In this one I wanted to show how much Simon cares for Rae and vice versa, heck he would and WILL throw himself in front of a train for her, as well as how Rae had affected him thus far.
This wasn’t my best chapter, But I’m still pretty proud of it.
Prelude to YMatJtaE CH7.
CH11 and 12: I wanted to summarize the entire story using some fluffy moments, but really i just wanted to write them being happy together as besties, which imo was a great conclusion despite the last chapter being messy.

CH11 you *could* check out the Post-A2 Citrusverse Experience, but I written that long before I redid CV lore, so it might not be accurate.
CH12’s Prelude references my three biggest Google Doc fics: Goodbyes, Memory of Hope and The Aftermath, 930. And it’s highly recommended you read it with this fic!!
Ok, now that’s done, I truly had a great time typing out this fic, and I hope you liked it too. I may or may not have already have a new fic planned, but maybe later, I need to REST!!
