Makki pov Chp5) MATSUHANAS REACTION TO FINdING OUT ABOUT OIKAWA:
matsuhana take him to their place Bc he can’t go home; doesnt wanna go home anyways it hurts too bad
iwaizumi collapses on their couch and passes out mshn remorsefully look at each other, silently put a blanket on iwa, then go to their room nd cry together bc it finally kicked in but also theyve been holding it in to stay strong for iwa the whole time, all the emotions and realizations finally flood in
They didn’t get to say goodbye
they also don’t find out how it happened until the next day Bc iwa only told them he was gone. They find out the way it happened via news, they have the tv on in their room, iwa wakes up and overhears it and hears the "found by his /roomate/, iwaizumi hajime" and iwa breaks again bc iwaoi was never able to become official to the public
Iwa can tell theyd been crying all night, theri eyes red and puffy
Mattsun pov chp6) he chooses to do oikawas autopsy himself (funeral home), they have the service there.
Oikawa funeral, iwaizumi is a mess, the whole seijoh team is there maybe other vb friends. Seijoh reunion but not in the right way, first time the team has ever seen kunimi cry. iwaizumi has to arrange the funeral himself (closed casket bc yikes)
iwaizumi and the medical examners were tho only ppl to see oikawas face after the fact so no one on the team rreally knows the horror that iwaizumi sees everytime he closes his eyes and iwa refuses to describe it to them for their own sake
Hnmk pov: “do you know who did it” “yeah. Kageyama” “woah” “...” “hajime dont do anything stupid you wont regret” “anything more than i regret that oikawas gone and im still here?”
most of the team doesnt even know theyre married lol add that extra sting only mshn and kunimi but kunimi just kinda assumed bc hes kunimi, he tells them there (in eulogy, everyone gasps) and the rest of the team is like oh fuck. He shows them the Rings oikawas blood is still on it bc iwa cant bring himself to wash it off btw
he also gives a eulogy and iwa cries harder and its very hard for them to see him like that, he can barely get through it, too choked up. his voice craks and that absolutely breaks everyone
“Tooru died and everything is worse now”
Future shit lol,, iwa goes to a support group (like kageyama did) but for oikawa or just losing someone in general maybe mshn n ushi are there too because cinematic parallels and whatnot <3
