Steve : Sharon......
Sharon : Hello Steve. Nice to see you remember me.
Steve : What? What are you doing here?
Sharon : Why are you so surprised? Your girlfriend didn't tell you? She knew about it. So did Fury.
Steve looked at Natasha, disappointed.
Steve : You knew?
Natasha nodded softly.
Natasha : I didn't want you to get hurt.
Tony : But if you knew Fury was on to you, why were you so obvious?
Sharon : I thought you were supposed to be the smartest one in the room Stark. Of course it's because I wanted you here. You see it's just easier for us to destroy you all together. As he said so, Luther's men came in with Sam, Bucky and Selina, their hands and mouth tied and Wanda was unconscious. Diana was no where to be seen. One of the men spoke.
Man : This red head was hard to capture. She kept knocking us out with red glowy magic so we had to knock her out and that little robot of yours is lying somewhere, damaged.
Every one looked tense. Bruce finally spoke.
Bruce : I understand why Luther wants us here but why do you want them?
Sharon : Ah Bruce Wayne, always asking the right questions.
Steve : I never imagined that you would do this.
Sharon snickered and spoke angrily.
Sharon : And I never thought you would do this. You just abandoned me. I went against the government for you Steve, I betrayed my people for you and your fight with your friends but what did you do? The moment you were done you abandoned me. I went into hiding and then I came here. I found this place where finally I was in control and all I wanted from then was to make you pay for what you did to me. All these weapons dealing did bring me money but my main intention was to get your attention which Luther helped me with and now all we have left to do is to kill you all.
Lex Luther : That was a great speech Miss Carter. They have finally come into our clutches.
Clark : Seriously, shut up.
Bruce : The moment we get out, you're a lost cause.
Natasha : You know we were on the run too. You could have contacted us.
Sharon : Oh look who's talking. You betrayed everyone and still got pardoned. If I had contacted any of you, I had the risk to get caught so just like you, I saved myself.
Steve : That's where you went wrong because for us it doesn't matter how we stay together what matters is that we do.
While everyone was speaking, at a Tony and Peter was trying to open the cell but it was made of vibranium so it was in vain.
Lex Luther : So now that you all no why we are here, it's time to complete our job.
He started laughing as he brought out the Kryptonite from his pocket.
Lex Luther : See here Supes, I have your death note, now there's no way you can escape this time and in bonus I get the bat and the cat. Your Wonder Woman has already run off.
Sharon sent one the men to bring the tesseract. As he was going, a huge axe came whirling towards him and he was knocked on the ground. Before anyone can react, a bunch of lightening came down and from there emerged the god of thunder. Thor came in and behind him was Diana. Through Thor's entry, half the men were on the ground, either dead or knocked out.
Diana had tied Sharon with her lasso.
Lex Luther : What... What is happ.....
Before he could finish his sentence, a huge snake wrapped him around and hissed in his ear.
Snake : I am the only one who can take the tesseract.
Suddenly, the snake transformed into a green smoke and turned into Loki. He had his hands tightly wrapped around his neck which was choking Luther.
Thor : Brother hold him for a while till I free them.
Loki grinned.
Loki : Oh don't worry brother. I'm quite enjoying it.
Thor quickly released the tied heroes. Sam and Bucky did not waste any time and fought off the other men who were fortunately or unfortunately not down by Thor already. Diana gave hold of Sharon to Selina who happily kicked her down while she used her lasso to open the cell to free the other heroes. By then many other goons had arrived. Now it was a full on fight. Tony blasted some of them and Peter webbed the others. Steve knocked almost all of them with his shield. Natasha took Sharon from Selina's grip and handcuffed her.
Meanwhile, Clark and Bruce went towards Luther. Loki let go off his hold and went beside Thor to watch. It was highly entertaining fot him. As soon as Loki had let off Luther, Clark clenched his shirt.
Clark : You had your issues with me and you could have done with just me but no, you had to bring everyone in.
Luther laughed.
Lex Luther : That's the fun Supes. The more the merrier.
Clark : You're right. The more the merrier.
He kicked Luther and he flew right across the room. As he tried to get up, he saw batman standing in front of him.
Bruce : You thought you'd get way?
And with that, in one swift, very batman like punch, Lex Luther was out. Finally the fight was over. Clark brought an unconscious Luther to the quinjet. Natasha and Selina came with Sharon in handcuffs. Wanda and vision were too brought in. When everyone was in, the quinjet took off. Loki and Thor had stayed behind. They had to take care of the tesseract. Loki took the tesseract and admired it.
Loki : Oh dear! Look I have you again.
Thor : Loki, are you sure with this?
Loki smiled. A genuine smile.
Loki : You can trust me brother. This time I will keep it safe. I won't let you down.
Thor said nothing but embraced Loki in a bear hug and this time Loki didn't resist.
