Happy 15th birthday!
I know I'm giving you this letter separately from your gift I gave you (I hope you liked it, by the way. You kept nagging me about it for so long) and I hope you use it.
Beomgyu, you're 15 now. Last time I checked you were just 7 again and we're standing on a stool to look out your window. It's been so long since we've known each other and I'm so glad you accepted my friend request that one day.
I don't usually get sappy, but I do appreciate everything you've done for me and I wish you the best 15th birthday.
I have something to tell you, too. It's why I wanted to give this letter to you separately—I will give the letter to you later tomorrow, and hopefully you accept it.
I like you a lot, Beomgyu. That's all I want to say. I didn't want to say this with a lousy birthday note but I had no choice.
Have a good rest of your life, with or without me. You're the best thing that's happened in my life and I love you. Platonic or not.
