Chapter Text
“Do you see anything unusual, Sonic?” Leonardo asked while engaging with the All-Seeing-Eyes.
Sonic shakes his head, while giving a low sigh in response.
‘Shit…the creature couldn’t of disappeared into thin air this quickly without leaving something behind…’ Leo thought to himself.
Suddenly…Sonic overheard a munch coming from behind a trash can nearby them. He rushed over to see who was so eager to steal a meal.
“Sonic! Wait up!” Leo ran over to his monkey friend.
‘Seriously? Using a trash can as a decoy to hide behind? Must be a raccoon…but why would a raccoon leave behind space particles?’ Leo thought.
“I’m not a raccoon! Stop associating me as trash!” Someone shouted.
“Aaaaghhh! What the hell?” Where are you?! Show yourself, you damn thief!” Leo huffed.
“A thief now? Seriously?…I can’t even regain my energy without being called a thief…what has Earth become? It used to be more pleasant.” They responded back.
“You really think Earth was pleasant? I don’t even remember a minute of peace here…anyway…” Leo responded as he used his All-Seeing-Eyes to locate the voice.
“Ah hah! Found you….ehhhh…” Leo raised an eyebrow in confusion as to what he was seeing in front of him.
“Fine fine…you caught me red handed. Your cheeseburger was delicious, bud…now is there a way to clean this ketchup off my face.” The creature looked up at Leo.
Leo grabbed a hold of critters back fur to have a better look. As much as he wanted to say every word from the dictionary about how wrong it is to steal food from somebody else. He was more curious about the fur coloration.
“Hey, hey…easy on the fur.” The critter responded to Leo’s slight rough touch.
‘The fact a Fox can talk to me…is weird. But, it’s better then continuing to hunt for a mystical creature that doesn’t exist.’ Leo shrugged.
“Ummm…do you mind…uhhh…keeping me a secret. There’s way too many people and beyondigans that would have a field day, if they found how attractive my fur is…” the critter sulked.
“Uhhh…sure…but no more stealing. Got it! If you want…I have room in my bag. Just hop in…it’s better then leaving yourself out in the open like this.” Leo shrugged.
“Are you sure your monkey friend over there isn’t going to go ape shit, if I do?” They look over to Sonic, who was just about to throw the cheeseburger wrapper.
Leo looked over at his friend, and signaled him to give him the wrapper and settle down.
“I’m not going to lie…you’re a very strange..Fox.” Leo sighed.
“I’m not an ordinary Fox…the name is Loudon. Just like your monkey friend…I too have my own quirky behavior…I mean just yesterday I fell on my face trying to fly, using an old blanket I’ve had since I was a pup.” Loudon snickered.
“That’s a first I’ve heard of a flying Fox.” Leo grinned.
“Sweet dreams are made up of these…who am I to disagree.” Loudon started to sing.
‘Great…this is going to be one long walk back to Libra…how am I going to explain to them, about this overly chatty big eared fox? I could always introduce him to Zapp.’ Leo thought to himself.
