"C’mon big brother, at least try!”
Currently, Ortho with the help of Yuu were trying to convince Idia to leave his room and experience some sun. But as always, Idia was as stubborn as a mule beastman and he refused to leave his sanctuary even if the most important person in his life was there
"C’mon Idia, there’s a whole world out there that’s ready to be explored! You can’t recreate that in your room" Yuu’s sweet voice said from behind the door and Idia flinched. That’s exactly why he didn’t want to leave this place in the first place!
Going outside was bad enough, but going outside with his Player 2 in that forbidden d-word was even worse! What if he ruined it?! What if he makes a fool of himself and Yuu would never look at him again?!!!
Idia could simply not handle that pressure
“No way in all seven hells! I’m not leaving this room ever!!" Idia shouted and both of them sighed. "Well Yuu-san, we tried everything we could think of…" Ortho said, "If Big Brother won’t come out for even a new figurine bribe, then he truly won’t go out"
Yuu sighed, wishing they could do something to help their friend. But then and idea came into surface, that sounded perfect!
"Idia if you’re not gonna go outside, could you at least let us come in?" Yuu asked and both Shroud brothers were left in confusion, "We still want to spend time with you, but if you’re not gonna go outside then we could spend time with you on your room. We can watch anime and play games together"
"What are you doing Yuu-san?!" Ortho whispered-yelled and was met with Yuu’s mischievous face. "Just trust me on this one, 'kay Ortho?" They said, bringing a slender finger to their rosy lips and winking secretly
"…O-Okay, I-I’ll unlock the door n-now…" Idia who thought about it for a long while, finally decided to make a move and slowly opened the door. What should’ve been a simple mundane task felt like a Herculean feat right now
"Thanks for letting us in, Idia!" The bright smile of the Prefect outshined the sun itself and Idia’s usually pale face flared up, with the tips of his flame hair becoming a pinkish color
"Because now, we’re gonna let you out!" Yuu’s new threat broke Idia from his happy shell, realizing that it was all a trap. But before he could escape or do something about it, it was already too late
As Yuu started to sing
I can show you the world
Shining, shimmering, splendid~
Tell me princess, now when did you last let your heart decide?
As soon as Yuu said those words, Ortho transformed himself into a robotic version of the magical carpet. "I’m still not going!" Idia cried, knowing how disastrous Yuu’s magical powers could get
If they were unlucky, they would pass through the heart of an active volcano. If they were still unlucky, he would have a lovely stroll with the most important person in his life and he would totally ruin it
"C’mon Idia, it’ll just be for a short while. We’ll be back in your room before you know it" Yuu promised him, stepping into the robotic carpet and extending their hand to him with an inviting smile, "Trust me, okay?"
Idia was still weighting his options, but after a long while of consideration that the two wouldn’t stop pestering him unless he accepted he reluctantly grabbed a hold of Yuu’s hand. And marveled over how warm it was in comparison to his own
"Okay, now hold on tight! Fly like the wind, Ortho!" The Prefect said, and before Idia knew it they were flying out of the dorm and into the dark school beyond. He screamed bloody murder as he climbed to Yuu like a leech, but thankfully the Prefect didn’t seemed to mind
"Well, I did say to hold on tight didn’t I?" They winked playfully, not helping to calm down Idia’s raging heart at all
I can open your eyes~
Take you wonder by wonder~~
Before they had knew it, they had left school grounds and were suddenly floating high above Sage’s Island as a whole. Idia gulped at the massive distance they were nos from the ground, and if they were to fall the only thing that would catch them would be the ocean’s cold water
"Instead of focusing down…” Yuu said, gently grabbing Idia from his chin which made him blush even more at the distance they were now in, and he could now perfectly witness the Prefect’s shining eyes filled with life and their hot breathe on his face
"How about focusing up?" They gently moved Idia shocked face up with one slender finger and when they did, he let out a silent gasp. Above them had to be millions, if not billions of shining stars. All twinkling like diamonds
"I bet this is something you can’t recreate in one of your holograms, huh?" Yuu teased and chuckled fondly at Idia’s increasingly-blushing face
Over, sideways and under
On a magic carpet ride~
The relative peace that Idia was in was shattered when Yuu directed Ortho to go downhill at ridiculous speeds and he screamed like a banshee, holding onto the Prefect. "Wait! We’re gonna crash!!" He tried to warn them but they looked as carefree as ever
"No, we’re not" They reassured him, "Trust me on this one, okay?". Before he could ask what they meant by that, they stopped deep diving and were serenely gliding just barely above the water, that seemed to glisten under them
Yuu smiled seeing Idia a little more relaxed, marveling about the glistening water like a little kid. With that settled, they carried on with their tour

A new fantastic point of view~
As such, Yuu took Idia to all kinds of different locations of Twisted Wonderland on Ortho
First was the Rose Queendom’s famous rose bush labyrinths, were Ortho nudged Idia to grab one of the half-finished painted roses. He didn’t looked quite sure, but decided to give it a try and grabbed the red-and-white rose
"H-H-H-Here…" Idia murmured, gifting Yuu with the rose with trembling fingers. Thankfully the Orefect didn’t saw his half-assed attempt at courting as awkward, and giggled as they happily accepted the gift
"Thanks Idy" They said, using their new nickname for their friend and putting the flower under their ear as Idia blushed both by his new pet name and the lovely image of Yuu using his gift for them
No one to tell us 'no'

The next stop was the Afterglow Savanna’s, well, savannas as they passed through a bunch of animals that were peacefully pasting. When they passed by a herd of giraffes, Yuu got a new idea
"Hey Idy, wanna touch those little guys?” They offered and Idia flinched at the prospect of touching a wild animal. "I-I dunno. I’ve…never done that" He admitted instead of dodging the question like usual "There…weren’t a lot of animals where I grew up in”
"It’s okay Idy, giraffes are really sweet" Yuu promised him, grabbing some leaves from a nearby tree and giving a batch to their carpet-mate, "Just do what I do, okay?"
Idia nervously accepted their offer and grabbed the leaf branch as they slowly approached the herd. Yuu reached out to give them their tree branch and one of the giraffes accepted their offering and started to paste on them
"Now Idy" They said and he with a trembling hand was about to touch its hide, but chickened out in the end. Idia was about to remove his approaching hand when Yuu’s oddly warm one grabbed it and encouraged it to put it in the grazing animal’s head
"See, this isn’t so bad" The Prefect said and guided his hand to slowly pat the giraffe’s head in order to not disturb it. After a while, the animal had enough from its meal and carried on with the rest of its herd, and the two returned to their journey
Idia looking at his hand all the while thinking, ‘So that’s how it feels to touch a living animal without them running away from you, huh?'
A whole new world~~~
A dazzling place I never knew~
They passed by the surface of the Coral Sea and watched as multiple kinds of mermaids and exotic fish swimmer by, occasionally waving at them which Yuu gave back while Idia shied
"The mermaids here are so friendly, aren’t they Idy?" The Prefect asked out loud, grazing the warm water bellow while some of the mers hounded around their arm curiously
"I wouldn’t be so sure about that, Yuu-shi…" He murmured low enough in order for the Prefect. Because the merfolk that Yuu was currently fawning over we’re actually mersharks, known for being one of the most aggressive mers of the bunch, both to land and sea folk alike
And for mer-sharks to innocently coo over a human’s arm instead of ripping it apart was a never heard achievement that could only ever happen to the anomaly that was Prefect Yuu of the Ramshackle dorm
"Well, nice to meet you ladies. But we gotta fly~" Yuu said with a flirty tone as they directed Ortho away from there while the mersharks whined over their loss
But when I’m way up here

That now I’m in a whole new world with you~
They passed through all sorts of different landmarks in Twisted Wonderland, from the cool deserts of the Land of Hot Sands through the high peaking snowy mountains of the Land of Pyroxene. The mystical forests of the Valley of Thorns to the ever-bustling Port Jubilee
All the way to quiet Harveston and back to Sage’s Island, Idia didn’t even noticed that they were back to school grounds because he was actually having way too much fun
Huh, he was actually having fun outside of his room
"Well what do you think, Idia?" Yuu asked, stepping down from their robot carpet ride and helping the dorm leader down as Ortho returned to his usual form, ”That wasn’t so scary, wasn’t it?"
"On contrary, it was the scariest thing I had ever suffered" Idia said bluntly and Yuu sweat dropped at his straightforwardness
"But…” The dorm leader blushed a volcano and his hair truly became pink this time, as he shyly rubbed the tips of his fingernails together like a schoolgirl with a crush, “I-I wouldn’t mind enduring it again…if it’s with you…"
"Of course Idy! It’s a date then!" Yuu said winking and Idia’s whole being flared up like the sun, as the forbidden D-word kept repeating itself on his mind like a broken record even as the prefect left his room
"D-D-D-D-D…" Idia stammered the word out like a broken robot and Ortho patted his arm in support. "Congratulations, big brother! You got yourself a date with Yuu-san!"
Idia squeaked, covering his tomato-worthy red face as his pink hair flared up in intensity with heart-shaped smoke evaporating from it
