Niki pressed the button and sat down on the bench. He smiled widely and waved" hey! Is this on?" He hasn't filmed a live for a long time. He sighed happily" ahh... You have no idea how happy I am to be with you again." He waved both hands in joy "I missed you guys! I hope you missed me." He giggled and read the comments" ah! Yeah, I'm fine! There's nothing wrong with me. I've been hanging out here at the apartment with my hyungs for weeks. I'm really good. I'm finally getting to dance today! Can you believe it? Are you guys proud of me??" Niki watched as the chat filled with hearts. He couldn't stop smiling. He had gotten his life back after all. And now he could live normally again. He would always remember what happened, but he wouldn't want to ruin his life because of it. Otherwise, Sangwoo would have won. Niki laughed with his fans for well over an hour. He had missed this.
Niki scurried happily along the familiar corridor. He had gone to the vending machine to get bottled water. He had had a really good day. He had been able to do a live with their fans he loved oh so much and now he got to do what he had always loved the most. Dance. Niki picked up his pace and rushed into the dance studio. The others seemed a little startled by his sudden entrance. "Oh! Niki!", Sunoo happily exclaimed and waved at him. Niki handed him the other one of the water bottles he had fetched. Niki happily ran in front of the big mirror that was covering the whole wall" shall we start?" "It's great to see you so excited," Heeseung chuckled. Niki jumped impatiently a couple of times. Jay appeared behind him and grabbed him in a hug, locking his arms "I got you!" Niki started to giggle and tried to pull himself away. Jay pulled him to sit down on his lap and nuzzled his neck. "Hyung! It tickles!"
Jake crouched down on his stomach on the floor directly in front of Niki and began to tickle his stomach, letting his chin rest against his legs. "Jake hyung! Stop! It tickles!", he laughed so hard that tears would soon start to fall from his eyes. Jake got to his knees and gave him a kiss on the cheek" it's great that you're finally here. How was your live?" "Oh? Really good. I've probably never had so many viewers before. It felt like I was a celebrity," Niki said with a smile. "Niki darling, you are a celebrity," Jungwon said with a chuckle. "Oh yes. I always forget that...", Niki whispered a little embarrassed. Jay rubbed his cheek against his neck. Niki was exactly where he was supposed to be. In his arms, safe. "We've had a lot of calls and messages from other bands. They hope you get well soon and gave us their congratulations on you being found," Sunghoon said. "Everyone has been really nice to me, even Key texted me. Said I'm a brave boy," Niki boasted.
"Sure. You're the bravest boy I know," Jay said with a smile. "Our Aussie hyungs from Stray Kids said they're happy you were found and that you're okay," Jake said with a smile. "Everyone is waiting to see you on stage soon," Sunoo added. "I can't wait to be on stage with you. I can't wait to see everyone again. I can't wait for the whole world to see that I don't give up easily," Niki said proudly. "Everyone already knows you don't give up easily. You're the bravest boy ever," Heeseung stated and walked towards the radio. Everyone stared at him for a moment. "What? I thought you guys wanted to do some dance practicing?", He grinned. Niki bounced full of joy from Jay's lap to stand up" Yippee! Finally!" He clapped his hands together with enthusiasm. "I don't think we can keep up with the young man today... He has more enthusiasm than a puppy," Sunoo joked.
Niki ran to the middle of the dance room" can we start now? Can we!?" "Calm down boy. We're in no rush. We can be here all day if you want," Sunghoon tried to calm him down. "Huh? Not all day! I want to eat. Let's go get pizza at some point", Jungwon suggested. "Really? Pizza again?", Sunoo looked at him questioningly and raised an eyebrow. "Pizza is always good. Especially pepperoni pizza," Jay added. "God, you sound so American," Jake chuckled. "I'll agree if we also get something sweet, like dessert," Heeseung said, raising his hand. Sunoo's eyes brightened" Uuu! Uuu! Ice cream! I want mint chocolate ice cream!" "Here we go again. You and your mint chocolate ice cream," Sunghoon rolled his eyes. This is what Niki had missed. This was the best pastime.
Niki looked at each of his hyungs with pure joy. He saw them full of joy and light. Everything was like before. No. Everything was better. They were even closer. They were bound together by a strong bond that could not be explained. He had known from the beginning that he would spend the rest of his life with these boys. He would do anything for them and they would do anything for him. He was their little brother. Maybe not biologically, but that didn't bother them. Each of them was special in their own way. Each of them was perfect in their own way. And he loved each of them in his own way. He wanted to grow old with them. He wanted to be with them through joy and sorrow. He wanted to sleep next to them every night. He would get his happy ending. He knew that. Niki was happy. Happiest boy ever.
