"YAH TAEHYUN Y/N COME IN HERE WE GOT LUNCH" Beomgyu shouted at the top of his lungs
"WE GOT SOME CORN SOUP TOO Y/N" Ryujin joined Beomgyu's shouts. You and Taehyun could only chuckle at your friends' behaviour while standing up
"Guess we better get going huh" You smiled at him
"WE'RE COMING" you shouted back at them. You took your earphone back and kept the seashells in your pocket. You couldn't see Taehyun sweetly looking at you as you started walking towards the house.
Lunch was fun, Ryujin showed you all the pictures she took of Beomgyu and Haerin. They were adorable, and you sort of regret not searching for them but instead sitting by the sea, but what gives? It's not like it was a complete waste, you got to know more about Taehyun (and your brother while you're at it).
The corn soup was so delicious you wanted to melt. Everyone was devouring their food, especially Ryujin with her pizza. Not a single crumb left. After lunch, all of you decided to play Uno. As guessed, lots of shouts are thrown every second
"YANG JUNGWON WHY DID YOU DO THAT YAH YOU- YOU-" was all an overly dramatic Beomgyu could scream before Taehyun closed his mouth shut. Everyone laughed at his antic.
"I'LL HAVE A PIECE OF YOU JUNGWON" He shouted again.
Safe to say, none of your ears were safe after that. Not to mention Ryujin screaming into your ears and slapping your arm.
"Y/N WHY DID YOU DO THAT NOOO I DON'T LIKE YOU" She screeched
"but beomgyu does!" you told her as you gave her a sly smile.
"DAMN IT" She shouts again while everyone laughed at your retort.
The game ended after an hour and the clingy couple had left to cuddle in their bedroom, Taehyun was in the bathroom and Haerin was playing with a cat outside. Jungwon, on the other hand, sat beside you on the rock-hard couch.
"You're fine right?"
"Mhm, why the question? Do I look dead-"
"No it's just- you were by the sea..."
"Oh yeah everything's fine, don't worry Won"
"YOu sure? Taehyun doesn't do anything in your room right?"
"First of all don't word it like that??? You're making it sound like he does ungodly things while I sleep, nah ah man." Jungwon only chuckled at that
"Right, right sorry, nothing's going on though right?"
"No, Wonnie, stop playing cop right now"
"Fine, fine ....I bet you like him though"
"I- uh- no..?"
"AHA YOU'RE STUTTERING"
Just as the universe likes it, taehyun got out of the bathroom and went straight to the couch. Sitting right beside you, leaving you squished between him and Jungwon.
"Who's stuttering?" he says as he sat down
"Y/N-" you quickly glared at your childhood-bestfriend-now-turned-enemy.
"NO. Wonnie is, he's all shy about Haerin playing with cats!!" you gave Jungwon the sweetest most sarcastic smile
"Ah really? That's cute won."
"Haha, yeah," Jungwon said as he rubbed the back of his head.
There was a moment of silence and Taehyun started to fall asleep. So you decided to tell Jungwon the call with your brother (he likes to admit Wonwoo is his brother too ever since he found out you had a brother who also had 'won' as a syllable).
"Oh by the way, Won, your dear brother called"
"REALLY? And you have the audacity to not tell me sooner??"
"Hey it's not my fault you were all heart eyes with haerin far from here"
"Sure, is he still busy?"
"Have no idea, I cut him off-"
"Y/N HE'S LITERALLY TRYING TO AMEND THINGS"
"Not when he's bragging about Mingyu, all 4 of you here are enough already" you gave him an angry pout
"Fine, can i call him then?"
"Sure thing, just don't tell him I'm here" you tell him as you give him your phone. He immediately searched for your brother's contact and clicked the video call button. You awkwardly sat there looking out of the window while he does that and Taehyun was sound asleep(He wasn't).
"Y/N? I thought- Jungwon! How are you!!!" you hear Wonwoo's voice loud and clear. Sometimes you wonder if he loves Jungwon more than you.
"Hi hyung!!! I'm doing fine!!! I heard you're with Mingyu hyung right now?"
"Yup, we're in Tokyo right now, you should bring Haerin here some time" Jungwon blushes at that, you wanted to laugh at his abashed face
"hehe yeah, maybe sometime."
"You really should! Anyways, why are you holding Y/N's phone?"
"Oh well she left it here to play by the sea, as per usual" You gave him a nod of approval at the lie.
"Ahh, nothing's going on with her though right?"
"Nope, she was just in her feels I guess .... because of a certain someone" Jungwon made a smirk while you had the urge to choke him right then and there. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to either of you, taehyun's breath hitched for a while
"Oooooh, is it Taehyun?" you wanted to be 6ft underground right now, bringing Jungwon and Wonwoo down with you.
"How'd you know?" You felt heat rise to your cheeks and you felt claustrophobic stuck in the middle even if Taehyun was asleep (He wasn't)
"Well we had a video call earlier too and she was with him. You know, he's a junior of mine, and I must say, he'd be the perfect match for her-" That's it. You stood up and left to play with Haerin.
"Aha I know right," were the last words you hear them exchange before you opened the door and reached Haerin. You couldn't see the devilish smile Jungwon made when you got up. And definitely didn't catch Taehyun's slightly rised eyebrow in his 'sleep'.
