Chapter Text
"Won't you put your Kamera down?"
Venti pulls away from his viewfinder, clearly feeling offended that Zhongli would ever suggest something like that. But one more look at his lover and Venti realized that, huh, maybe Zhongli is as offended as he is.
So, Venti decides to tease him instead. "Oh, but how else would I immortalize your beauty?"
Zhongli face grows redder, and he trots away from Venti in shame. Venti follows from behind, making sure his footprints on the sand matches Zhongli's before the waves washing them away.
Then Zhongli turns back and Venti takes another picture. "Stop that," he reaches for Venti's lens.
"Is my dearest lonely?"
"Unbearably so," Zhongli breaths in. "Put your Kamera down. You have a pair of eyes and a heart. That should be enough to remember me by."
"Okay." Venti puts his Kamera in his bag, intertwines his palm with Zhongli's. "I'm yours for the rest of the day now."
"Good." Zhongli's eyes soften. He pulls Venti's hand to his lips and kisses it deep.
They don't say anything afterwards. They just walk along the shore, with waves, bird's cry, and each other's beating heart as their company.
