"What's got you smiling like an absolute fool?" Chuuya questioned Dazai.
"What? Am I just not allowed to be happy?" Dazai asked.
"No. It is a rule of the universe that no Dazai should ever be happy." Chuuya said.
Dazai punched Chuuya's arm (quite hard too).
Chuuya held the place Dazai had punched him but generally seemed unbothered by it.
"Seriously though. You're never like this." Chuuya said.
"Well, chibi you're just going to have to force it out of my mouth!" Dazai replied.
Chuuya held Dazai's Jaw and pinched his cheeks so hard that it forced Dazai's mouth open. It kind of looked like Dazai was making a duck face.
"Just tell me already, dammit!"
"Fine fine, why do you always have to behave so roughly and with my pretty face too! I understand that you're jealous of my looks but-"
"If you don't tell me, I can actually mess your face up."
"Eek! Fine, little redheads can be scary when they want to be. What's got me smiling is just that my boyfriend pulled me in for a kiss before he left for his class."
"You have a boyfriend???" this was news to Chuuya.
"Why wouldn't I? I practically have half this school wrapped up around my pinkie."
"That is a gross overestimatation." Chuuya said.
"Awww, sluggie no need to be jealous!" Dazai said.
Chuuya just rolled his eyes. "So who is it?"
"I don't think I can tell anyone who isn't over 5'3-"
Chuuya grabbed his collar. "Shut up. And tell me now." He growled.
"I don't see how I can say anything if I shut up-"
Chuuya tightened his grip on Dazai's collar.
"Fine fine! It's Kunikida, my amazing and wonderful tutor." Dazai said.
"Him??? That tall glasses blondie that's way too focused on his academics for his own good???" Chuuya said..
Dazai's expression darkened. "Yes it there anything wrong with that?" Dazai asked.
Chuuya let go of Dazai's collar. "Nothing's wrong with that... I just didn't think he was your type."
"Well, y'know what they say! Opposites attract!" Dazai said.
"That's not true unless we're talking about magnets." Chuuay said.
"Well, me and Kunikida are proof of it!" Dazai said. "Okay, bye!" Dazai said as he got up.
"What? Where are you going?" Chuuya asked.
"I'm meeting up with someone" Dazai said and winked as he left.
While walking down the hallway, he bumped into a kid which he was pretty sure his name was Ranpo.
They both exchanged knowing glances with each other and Ranpo held a thumbs up as he walked away.
Later, he saw Sigma and Sigma went over to him and stopped him.
"So, did it go alright?" Sigma asked.
"Better than alright." Dazai answered.
"I'm glad to hear that." Sigma said and smiled softly at Dazai.
"But Sigma-kun! I can't believed you lied to me! You said you wanted to meet up with me, but you never even showed up!" Dazai said dramatically.
"Well, y'know it was for the plan." Sigma said, with an apologetic look on his face.
"Still, I can't believe you'd use my trust this way!" Dazai and faked a tear.
"Shut up will you?" Sigma said and punched his arm lightly. But he said it with with a smile on his face.
"Well, see you 'round Sigma-kun." Dazai said and continued on his way.
Soon after he bumped into Atsushi who was with his boyfriends, Junichiro and Akutagawa.
"Dazai-san!" Atsushi said with a smile with smile so bright, it was one of Dazai's favorite things about Atsushi.
Dazai walked over to Atushi and waved to him and his boyfriends.
They all waved back.
"How are you all?" Dazai asked.
"We are good Dazai-san, thank you for asking." Akutagawa said.
"Yeah." Junichiro added.
Dazai patted Akutagawa's shoulder.
"I hope you've been treating these two well." Dazai said.
"Y- yes I have!" Akutagawa said.
"And you two better have been treating my man Ryuunosuke well too." Dazai said.
"We have!" Atsushi and Junichiro said in Unison.
"Glad to hear it." Dazai said.
"Dazai-san, you look a lot better than last time." Atsushi said.
"Yeah... I'll tell you about it later." Dazai said.
"I'm looking forward to it." Atsushi said.
Dazai waved goodbye to them and continued walking to his final destination.
At last he reached the library. It was hard to believe last time he was here, he had left due to an argument. Maybe the argument was a good thing, after all... all this wouldn't have happened if it weren't for it.
Dazai went over too his and Kunikida's usual spot.
"You're late." Kunikida said.
"Sorry.... I got caught up talking to a few people." Dazai said and made his way over to his seat next to Kunikida.
"I hope you're aware that you have a lot of catching up to do." Kunikdia said and glared at him.
Dazai smiled at him. "I'm well aware that you'll have no trouble at all catching me up!" Dazai said.
"Ughhh, what I am going to do you with you?" Kunikdia said and shook his head. "Get your math work out."
Dazai did as he was told. "Ughhhh, why math though? Can't we do something a better?"
"And what do you propose Dazai?" Kunikida asked.
Dazai puffed his cheeks and got working on the paper.
"I think a kiss would motivate me a lotttt." Dazai said.
"This is a study session meant for studying." Kunikida replied.
"Whateverrr..." Dazai grumbled and went back to his paper.
Kunikida saw Dazai's free hand laced it with his own.
"Is this okay?" Kunikida asked.
"Yeah." Dazai replied, a light blush dusted his cheeks but he was smiling brightly.
It felt nice.
