Chapter Text
"-you want to go somewhere special?" The group looked at him with suprise. "Special?" The Curator said confused and all. "For all four of us!" The Narrator exclaimed "Let's say... A double date?".
Mariella's eyes lit up with joy and she looked at the Curator (so fast she could've broken her neck). The Curator sighed "Fine, but just this once... maybe.."
"Well it's all set then!" exclaimed the Narrator. "Don't just sit there! GET READY!" The group scrambled to their shared rooms (Stanley is the Narrators's and Mariella in the Curator's).
In the Narrator's room Stanley realized he didn't have any clothes. He had already taken off his top, looking at his feet speechless. 'What do I do now..?' Stanley thought to himself. He turned around to the bedroom door creaking open. The Narrator just entered, Stanley's hands scrambled to sign [I don't have any clothes what do I even do!?]. The Narrator a bright pink but still maintaining a straight face. "Just use my clothes, I won't mind" he gestured towards his closet. "I'll help you if you want" a pause "you have terrible taste in clothing." Stanley put a hand to his chest in an offended manner. [Excuse me!?] he signed, A chuckled coming from the older man. "I'm not lying~" He teased walking towards the closet.
In the end the Narrator chose a white button up, a black vest, dress pants and leather shoes for Stanley. They were a little bit on the larger side but the Narrator just snapped his fingers then POOF! they fit Stanley perfectly! But the Narrator chose his usual taste in clothing. His black button up, his usual yellow tie, a brown blazer, suit pants, and his usual shoes.
They exit the room to see Mariella and Curator waiting for them on the Living Room couch. "What took you so long!?" Mariella exclaimed impatiently. Stanley nor the Narrator answered. Stanley sat beside Mariella, suprisingly the couches were comfy and soft. The Narrator walked past them, summoning a yellow chalk. [Narry what's that for?] Stanley questioned. "You'll see~" The Narrator said singy-songily. He drew an oval shape onto the empty wall, the chalk marks sparking and the Narrator mumled a location of some sort. and then a portal appeared infront of the four. The group slowly stood up and gazing into the portal. "Well let's not dilly dally and get in already!" The Narrator reached out a hand for Stanley to hold, and Stanley took it. The other pair following suit and holding eachother's hands. They dived in.
All of them fell through a wormhole of sorts and landed somewhere. three of them landed on their back, buttocks and.. somewhere else (idk what to put). The Narrator landed flawlessly on his feet. He seemed used to it- but! do not worry all of the others were unharmed just some minor pain on where they landed. The people walking by seem to not to notice. Stanley asked the Narrator [Where are we?] The older man motioned to a shop nearby the sign read 'The Garden'. "It seemed like the perfect place for us so here we are." They entered the cafe, a man approached them and spoke "Good morning Neil! I assume the usual table?" The Narrator shook his head. "No thank you Giles, I have some guests" he signalled towards the three. Giles noted "So table for four! Got it." Giles led them to a booth in the corner and gave them menus. "Just signal for a waiter and they will come here immediately." The Narrator nodded and turned to Stanley. "So how are you liking it so far darling?" [I love it!] he signed excitedly [but I have some questions 1. Who was that? 2. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN COMING HERE? 3. Do you even have cash? 4. Are you Neil?] The Narrator snickered. "I have answers for all of those don't worry. 1. That was Giles, he owns this joint 2. For quite a while 3. I can materialize things, remember? 4. Yes." The group took a moment to decide their orders but they eventually decided. They called for a waiter, the waiter took their orders, and at last their food arrived. Stanley had chosen a Trifle, Mariella decided she would have Banoffee Pie, the Curator landed her usual black coffee, Narrator selected a Treacle Tart. Mariella picked up her utensils quickly befor the Curator stopped her "Be careful you might ruin my best blazer" she said. "Oh Curie, let her have her fun." The Narrator smirked. The Curator glared at him in return. Then they all dug into their meals. Soon after eating (and paying), they stepped outside the small cafe the Narrator let out a deep sigh of relief "It is so nice to get of the Parable" He looked at Stanley with a smile "so dear, where to next"
