“So yeah…” Mina closed her laptop and crossed her arms. “That’s how I plan on asking Nayeon to marry me.
Sana started bawling her eyes out. She got up in a swift move and hugged Mina. She laughed and hugged Sana back.
Jihyo smiled and tapped Mina in the back. “Finally, Nayeon has been annoying me for almost a year now, saying she wants to marry you and that she can’t wait for you to ask her.” Mina smiled. “Was the slideshow really necessary, though? You could’ve just told us.”
“Yes, of course it was necessary.” She frowned. “I’m serious about this, so I planned it out. It was absolutely needed.”
“Cool.” Tzuyu got up and hugged her too. “I liked it. The slideshow especially, is a very nice touch.”
“Is it going to be easy to execute it?” Momo asked.
“Probably, yes. But I think the hardest part is going to wait and hope none of you tell her.” Mina pointed at them. “Please, please. It’s a surprise. Nayeon can’t know.”

“So you’re going to ask me to marry you?” Nayeon jumped on the bed next to Mina, they were about to go to sleep.
“What?” Mina’s eyes looked like they were about to pop out of their socket. “Who-”
“Obviously you’re going to ask me to marry you eventually.” Nayeon kissed her cheek. Mina let out air she didn’t even know she was holding. “Right?”
“We’ve talked about this, Nay.” Mina sighed.
“I know, I know.” She laid her head on her chest. “You’ll ask me when the time comes. I think the time should come faster.” She shrugged.
Mina smiled and kissed the top of her head. “The time will come, my love.” She hugged Nayeon.
Mina has never been this happy. It seems like everything she worked for and all the hardships were finally over. She felt like she had a purpose.
Her goal was to make Nayeon as happy as she made her.
Waking up everyday was worth it when she woke up next to Nayeon. Spending the entire day at work was worth it because she got to come home to her lovely girlfriend.
Mina was fully sure Nayeon was the love of her life.
It’s been four years since they officially got together. So much has happened since then.
Between graduating and moving in together, they were living their best life.

Mina separated their roles.
Each and every single person in the group had their job when it came to the proposal.
Sana and Momo were in charge of getting what Mina needed. Momo had contacts.
Jihyo and Jeongyeon were in charge of distracting Nayeon on the day she was doing it.
And Tzuyu, Dahyun and Chaeyoung were at their place helping everything get set up.
Mina was nervous. Which seems a little foolish. Nayeon literally asks her when they’re getting married every 2 or 3 days.
But it’s still nerve racking. Mina wasn’t an overthinker, at all. But she wanted things to go well, she wanted Nayeon to say yes. She couldn’t wait to spend the rest of her life beside Nayeon as her wife.
So she planned, and planned, and made sure everything was ready to go.

“Aw.” Nayeon pouted.
“What now?” Jeongyeon asked, getting closer to her.
“Can we leave the ring shop, Jeongyeon is getting weird looks from the staff.” Jihyo looked around.
“I could buy this entire mall if I wanted to.” Jeongyeon rolled her eyes. “I’m allowed to look like I didn’t want to leave my house.”
“Guys…” Nayeon pointed at an empty spot in the showcase.
“Yeah?” Jihyo looked at where she was pointing. “What?”
“The ring?” Nayeon pressed her finger on the glass.
“Nayeon.” Jeongyeon rubbed her temple. “Please explain to us that do not live inside your head.
Nayeon rolled her eyes. “They had a ring displayed here.” She pointed again. “It was gorgeous, the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen. I wanted it. I wanted Mina to ask me to marry her with that ring.” She pouted. “And now it’s gone.”
“Have you ever told her you wanted it?” Jeongyeon asked, Jihyo gave her a push on the shoulder. “I’m just asking.”
“I didn’t.” Nayeon started walking away from the store. “But I guess I can find a better one in the future, when Mina decides to ask me.”
Jihyo nodded. “Do you think it’ll be soon?”
“I’m not sure.” Nayeon shrugged. “I don’t want to put any expectations on it either. I always make sure Mina knows so she doesn’t get insecure about asking. But she can do it whenever she’s ready.”
“That’s actually very sweet.” Jihyo smiled. “I didn’t know you could be this patient.”
Nayeon smiled. “She’s the love of my life, Ji. I’ve loved her for years. I could wait an eternity for her if I had to. We’ve been through a lot together and I want her by my side for the rest of my life.”
Jeongyeon side hugged her. “I’m glad she has the patience to deal with you. You deserve someone that treats you well. It makes us happy Mina is that person.”

“ Yeah, the precious cargo is secured.” Sana giggled.
“Are you guys on your way here already?” Mina was running around trying to make sure she had everything she needed.
“ Momo is hungry. So we’ll stop to eat. We should be there in an hour or so.”
“ Okay.” Mina opened the ring box to look at it once again. “That’s perfect.”
Once they hung up Mina went to check on their food again.
Everything was all ready to go.
She could feel the butterflies in her stomach.
Jihyo: we’re going to one more store and we’re heading back
Jihyo: i’ll let you know when we leave here
Mina: thanks Ji
Mina needed to shower and get ready for when Nayeon arrived.
mom: how did it go?
mina: i havent asked yet, i will in an hour
mom: sounds perfect dear, im sure she’ll say yes
mina: do you think she’ll like the surprise?
mom: yes, you know she’s been asking that for years now
Mina smiled.
Her entire life was about to change once again. She loved that it was because of Nayeon.
She loved everything that had to do with her.

mina: sana and momo just dropped it off
mina: what’s your status?
jihyo: leaving right now
jihyo: 20 minutes and we’re there
Mina sighed. This is it.
She looked at the ring once again before closing it and putting where it belonged for now. Hopefully Nayeon’s finger would be the next place.
Nayeon had enough of Jeongyeon giggling beside her.
“You’re so annoying.” She pushed the girl.
“Let her be.” Jihyo felt like she was scolding two children. “There you go Nayeon, safe and sound at your house.”
“Thank you, Ji.” She grabbed her bag. “Do you guys want to come in?”
“No!” Jeongyeon immediately yelled. “We do not.”
“Why?” Nayeon frowned. “Don’t be weird.”
“I’m not being weird, we just have to go home. Bye bye!” Jeongyeon waved and pushed Nayeon to get out of the car.
“Rude!” She closed the car door.
Nayeon made her way towards the front door. She smiled when she remembered who was waiting for her on the other side.
Nayeon opened the door and the house was silent.
“Mina?” She yelled, taking off her shoes. “Are you here?”
“Yeah!” She heard some movement in their living room. “I’ll be right out.”
Mina looked stunning. Nayeon was in awe.
She couldn’t believe Mina was her girlfriend. She felt incredibly lucky.
“You’re all dressed up?” Mina nodded. “You look gorgeous, baby. What’s the occasion?”
“You.” Mina shrugged. “I have something for you.”
“For me?” Nayeon frowned. “Why?”
“Because.” Mina moved closer to her. “I love you, and I wanted to show you just how much I appreciate you, so I did a little surprise for you.”
Nayeon kissed her once, twice. “Thank you, my love.”
Mina smiled and grabbed her hand. Moving them to the bedroom.
“What’s that?” Nayeon pointed at the present sitting on their bed.
“Nayeon.” Mina started. “We’ve had our ups and downs. We’ve been through thick and thin together.” Mina took a deep breath. “I can’t imagine a life without you, I don’t want to and I don’t need to. Everyday I’m more and more thankful we’re together and you chose me to be with.” Tears started forming in their eyes. “I felt so incredibly lucky to have you. I want you to feel loved and appreciated the way you always made me feel. I will do anything and everything to see you happy and I hope this will be the start of something, a chapter, even more beautiful in our lives.”
Mina pointed to the box, signaling for Nayeon to open it.
Nayeon wiped some stubborn tears. And moved closer to the box sitting in the middle of their bed.
She felt the box rustling under her hands so she quickly opened it.
“You’ve been saying you want a puppy for a while now, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity.” Mina smiled.
“Mina.” Nayeon started crying. “Thank you! Thank you!” She grabbed the small pomeranian puppy. “He’s so cute.” She was fully bawling her eyes out now.
“I know.” Mina hugged her. “He matches you. That’s not all, though” She pointed to the small bag inside the puppy’s box.” “I’ll get it for you.”
Mina grabbed the bag and took out the box from inside it. Nayeon realized what was going on.
Mina got to one knee and opened the box. “Im Nayeon, I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Please, do me the pleasure of being my wife. I promise you I will do anything in my power to make you the happiest woman in the universe.” A few tears dropped from her eyes.
“Yes!” Nayeon put the puppy down to kiss her. “I will always say yes to you, my love.” Her words were almost being swallowed by her tears.
Mina smiled and kissed her. Putting the ring on her finger and kissing it after.
Nayeon looked at it and smiled. “How did you know I wanted this one?”
“You’re not slick, Nayeon. Plus I know you well.” Nayeon kissed her once again.
“I love you so much. Thank you for everything.”

They got ready for bed.
Nayeon was taking too long in the bathroom so Mina worriedly went to check on her.
“Is everything alright?” She asked before opening the door.
She found Nayeon staring at her ring. “It’s so pretty.”
Mina laughed. “I’m glad you like it.” She took Nayeon’s hand. “But I have more plans with you.”
“More?” Nayeon asked. Mina nodded. “What is it?”
Mina smirked. “Tonight, my love. It’s all about you.” She pulled Nayeon towards the bed.
When the back of her knee touched the bed she sat down and pulled Nayeon on top of her. “Let me make you feel good.” She kissed Nayeon’s neck.
“Make me feel good, Mina.” Nayeon smiled and kissed her.
They wasted no time before deepening the kiss. Honestly Mina was surprised they lasted this long, frankly, she just wanted to bend Nayeon over their dinner table and fuck her right then and there.
She grabbed Nayeon’s waist and squeezed it. She knew it drove her mad.
Mina was glad at this point of their relationship they knew each other's body very well.

Nayeon was going insane.

Nayeon was the happiest she’s ever been.
