You’d yank yourself awake and out of the dream you were having.
“Fuck. That” you’d declare sitting up and rubbing the sweat off your forehead.
You stood up and walked to your wardrobe taking a deep breath before remembering the box from the night before.
You’d pull out your new uniform and walk over to the box.
Standing there you would contemplate opening it.
“What's the worst that could happen?” you said as you picked up the box and opened it.
You’d look at the small white crystal, confused.
“Whatever, I probobaly need it for some force magic shit” you’d wrap it in a cloth and put it in your uniform pocket.
You’d sling your uniform over your shoulder and walk into your bathroom to get ready for the day.

You’d walk into the training hall, early again, but to your surprise emo lord was there sitting against the wall.
“Do you have the kyber crystal?” he asked through that horrible mask.
You’d look confused and ask “Sir, whats a kyber crystal?”
Kylo would stand, taking his helmet off.
He dropped his helmet and ignited his lightsaber.
The bright red crossguard lightsaber seemed to absorb all the light in room.
You’d take a step back, holding back the lump in your throat, “Si-ir?”
“A kyber crystal is what powers a lightsaber.” Kylo Ren spoke walking to stand over you.
You could feel the heat rolling off of his lightsaber as he held it towards your face.
“Your going to make a lightsaber” he said shutting his off and picking his helmet back up.
He walked over to the workstation and sat his down. “Make the force tell you”
“Tell me what?” Kylo grabbed his face in disappointment.
“Tell you how to make a lightsaber.” you’d nod, walking over to the workstation.
You’d pull the crystal out of your pocket and look at it before saying, “um, how do I do this” to the kyber crystal.
Kylo was getting annoyed and said “close your eyes, reach the force”
You closed your eyes and closed your hands over the crystal.
You’d open your eyes as you felt something pull you forward.
It was a room, your room as a child.
For a moment, it was calm, almost nice
But it wasn’t long before the ear piercing sirens were sounding, your father grabbed you and a blaster and ran out into a hallway.
The lights were flashing red as you two ran down the hallway.
Your father was hurriedly pressed the button to open the door.
Your father put you down to scan his keycard.
You’d hear an odd sound and turn to face it.
The green light covered the room and you stared on in fear as the hooded figure approached.
Your father yanked you back and threw you through the jammed door.
You’d close your eyes, tightly gripping the kyber crystal awaiting to hit the floor.
But the floor never came.
You’d open your eyes, you were suspended in a prisoners chamber.
You’d close your eyes again and open them laying on the cold floor of the training chamber.
Kylo was crouched over you.
You opened your hand to make sure the kyber crystal was still there, but to your dismay it was dust.
You sat up and started to hyperventilate and cry.
Kylo put his hand out but stopped, unsure of how to comfort you.
“What happened” Kylo Ren said standing up.
You tried to speak but you choked on your words.
Kylo grabbed your arms and hauled you up.
You fell into him and he pulled you back up and sat you down.
As you begun to calm down as two stormtroopers came in and demanded his presence in Snoke’s throne room.
He rushed out followed by the two troopers, leaving you alone.
You’d stand letting the dust of the Kyber crystal fall onto the floor,
You’d leave the training hall and head back to your quarters.

“Yes master?” Kylo said standing before Snoke.
“You have a new mission” Snoke said turning his throne to face Kylo.
“You are to go to Ilum, there are reports the resistance is tying to set up a base there”
“Destroy anything of theirs” Snoke said staring Kylo down.
“May I take my apprentice master?” Kylo asked.
Snoke became curious “why?”
“They need a new kyber crystal, the one… they had…” Kylo stopped.
“…An incident with the last one” Kylo finished.
“Very well then, you leave in two days” Snoke dismissed him.
