“Hudson….Hudson….Hudson!”
The boy shot up from bed hearing his name being yelled into his ear. Turing to see who the voice belonged to. That person being his ‘demon’ twin sister Gabby who was already in her uniform. “Come on Hudson, your alarm went off 10 minutes ago.” She nagged, pulling on his arm.
“Alright, alright you don’t have to get handsy you animal.” Hudson responded in a tired manner, rubbing his eyes as he got out of bed, walking over to the bathroom to get his day started. “Mom made breakfast for us so don’t take too long.” Nabby said as she ran down the stairs.
Hudson walked into the bathroom and over to the shower, turning it on and splashing water in his face, now he was awake. After taking a new needed shower Hudson dried himself off with a towel then raping it around his waist, and moving over to the sink to brush his teeth.
After his teeth were clean He went back to his room to put on some clothes. Now that there was light in the room, Hudson could see things and not move around based on muscle memory. To the left of him was a computer desk with a lamp and his laptop sitting on it, as well as a sliding window leading to a balcony. To Hudson’s right was his closest and many posters hung on the wall.
Hudson moved over to said closest to get his school uniform out, placing it on his bed thinking if it would even look good on him. Seeing that there was no other choice He started putting it on. Walking out of his room Hudson was wearing a white collared undershirt, blue pants, and a dark blue tie with red-and-white stripes. Over his shirt, he had on a navy blue blazer with white lining and gold buttons, and a jacket.
Hudson walked down stairs to see the rest of his family sitting around the table already eating. At the head of the table was his father Kiyoshi Endri. To the man’s right was his mother Ariel Endri, next to his mother was his twin chomping down on some toast. Lastly was his little brother Tomoya Endri who was just playing with his eggs.
Hudson took his seat next to his father with a plate of toast, eggs, and bacon. “Thank you mom. This looks great.” He complimented his mother’s cooking, “Oh thanks sweetheart. I made it with extra love, it’s you and Gabby’s first day of school after all.” His mother gave him a warm smile before counting to eat her food.
“Why weren’t you up on time, I had to make Gabby wake you up?” His father questioned turning his head over to his son, sipping his coffee. “I just missed my alarm, that's all.” Hudson answered without looking at his father, “Yeah, by 10 minutes.” Gabby responded with food in her mouth, and Hudson giving her a death glare. “Now Gabby, you know not to talk with food in your mouth. And Hudson, don't make this a habit.” The two children nodded and continued eating his their food, with Tomoya chuckling to himself.
With all the family members done eating they all walked out the door. Kiyoshi and Ariel took the car to drop off Tomoya before heading to work themselves, leaving Hudson and Gabby to walk to school. It was a good thing that they lived close to Miyamasuzaka Girls' Academy so that Gabby had a better time going to school while Hudson had to walk an extra 10 minutes to Kamiyama.
Once they reached Main street the twins separated. “Well see you later little bro.” Gabby said, running away from Hudson. She was only a few minutes older than him but insisted on always telling everyone she’s older. Hudson sighed then walked away heading to Kamiyama.
After 10 minutes of scrolling on social media he made it to Kamiyama, seeing other students walking through the gate. Hudson put his phone in his pocket after messaging his mother telling her that he made it, and started heading to the gym for the entrance ceremony.
Once sitting down in a seat Hudson looked around seeing many boys and girls conversating amongst each other. He caught wind of a certain boy being a bit too nosy, the boy in question had short Blonde hair that faded to a peach color Hudson thought the boy looked familiar but didn’t think too much of it.
After the entrance ceremony concluded the students followed their teachers to their classrooms. Hudson was in Class 1-C. He decided to sit in the middle of the classroom close to the back, placing his bag next to his chair. To his left was a girl with cream-like blonde hair with heart shaped hair clips putting her hair into pigtails similar to Miku. To his right was a boy with messy orange hair with a dyed yellow streak on the left side of his center bangs.
As everyone sat down in their seats the teacher started talking. “Hello students I will be your homeroom teacher for this year, the name’s Ms. Airabell.” Ms. Airbell continued talking while Hudson started thinking about other things, specifically what he would find on the roof in the abandoned school.
As the bell rang, sounding the day was over, students started to pack up and leave, Hudson being one of them until being stopped by the girl next to him. “Hey there I see you don’t have many friends.” The girl said look at him with a huge smile on her face. “Bold of you to amuse me, I don't have friends?” Hudson answered, raising a brow at her, even though what she said was kinda true.
“Oh sorry it's just that you didn’t immediately leave, that guy next to you left as soon as the bell rang.” She stated, pointing to the empty seat next to Hudson. “If you want you can hang out with me and another friend?” The girl asked, still having a smile on his face. Hudson thought for a moment, he wanted to go back to the abandoned school but he should consider having a social life right about now. “Sure why not I got some time to kill.” Hudson said, placing his bag on his shoulder. The girl cheered and grabbed Hudson’s hand dragging him along to see. “Great, my friend's in Class 1-A, oh and my name’s Hana Mamoyoshi.”
Hana quickly ran over to 1-A in what seemed like recorded time letting go of Hudson who was just a bit dizzy. “Stay right here I’ll go get him.” Hana said, sliding the door open and walking inside, leaving the boy by himself but quickly coming out with another boy with blonde hair fading to blue. “Come on Hana. An was just about to give me her phone number?!” The blonde complained, “Yeah it didn’t look like that to me Katashi, but look we have a new member of our group.” Hana said pointing to Hudson. Katashi looked at Hudson with a curious yet concerned look on his face.
“Aw really Hana, why did you have to get a boy?” Hudson was actually starting to get annoyed with this guy already. “I’m sorry Hana but did you find this guy in a trash can?” Hudson shading Katashi with Hana laughing. “Wow Hudson..HaHaHa.. you're really funny.” Hana said, still laughing while Katashi crossed his arms and turned his head to the two.
“Anyways Hudson this is Katashi Seiryuin and Katashi this is Hudson Endri, he’s in my class.” Hana explained, moving the two boys' hands together to shake. Hudson had a smile on his face while Katashi's face was filled with embarrassment, and a bit of jealousy. All three of them being too occupied to see a small rift growing in the classroom, and a wire sticking out of it.
“Anyway, why don’t we go out to eat? I'm starving.” Hana asked, looking at the two. They both nodded with Katashi committing on a place to go and started walking to the entrance with Hana behind them. When all of a sudden the door slid open with a scream from Hana. The two boys quickly turned around to see wires tangling around Hana suspending her in the air. “Guys help me!” Hana screamed, Hudson knew those wires all too well, but how did It get here?
The wires pulled Hana into the classroom with the boys following them inside but were too late as both Hana and the wires went through the rift. The boys stood there motionless with Katashi breaking the silence. “Oh crap what was that thing?! Why did it take Hana?! We should call the police!” The blonde panicked, Hudson didn’t say a word he stepped closer to rift about to go through it.
“Hey, what do you think you're doing?” Katashi asked, holding on to Hudson’s arm. “I’m going to get Hana back.” Hudson answered not looking back at Katashi, “Not without me you aren’t!” Katashi demanded. “No it’s too dangerous, you have no idea what’s in there.” “And what, you do? Besides, Hana has been my friend longer than you. If anyone should save her it’s me.” Katashi said, pointing to himself. Hudson finally looked back at him with a serious yet scared face. “Fine but don’t die while we're in there.” Hudson said, turning back to the rift and walking into it with Katashi following behind him.
