Dazai was holding back tears but that was the trigger to let it all out, it's as if Chuya knew exactly what to say to make him let everything out, all the bottled up emotions from everything that had happened being let out infront of Chuuya. Dazai tried to stop his tears but just couldn't, he couldn't do anything about it which he hated because he didn't want Chuuya to see this weak, vulnerable side of him but he can't help it.
Chuuya lets go of Dazai's arms and wraps his arms around him tightly, placing one hand on the back of his partners head as he allows him to cry with no judgement. "About time you allow yourself to cry." Chuuya moves Dazai's head to his shoulder and lets him cry on it.
A few moments later Dazai had stopped crying, he pulled away from Chuuya's shoulder as he wiped the final bits of his tears away, he had his head low and was silent, he didn't know what to say or do, he just cried for the first time infront of Chuuya, what if Chuuya thinks he's weak now? what will he do then?
Chuuya pulls Dazai's arm closer to him and places a kiss on his hand "This doesn't make you weak" It's as if Chuuya knew exactly what he was thinking, of course he did it's Chuuya we're talking about here, he knows almost if not everything about Dazai, even the embarassing or shameful details, everything.
"It's what makes you human"
Chuuya says before looking at Dazai and pulling him into a hug again, they stay like that for a moment before Chuuya pulls away just enough to cup Dazai's face with his hand and placing a kiss on his forehead and cheek.
