Chapter Text
Tommy shivered, feeling the fear coming back in full force. Sapnap looks over at him, noticing him shaking while a fireplace is warming them up.
“Oi kid, are you okay there?” Sapnap asked.
“Y-yes.” He responds, wrapping his arms around himself. “I’m getting tired.”
Tubbo looks over at him, looking confused. “Right now? I thought you wanna stay up all night!”
He frowns, thinking his body is reacting stupidly. He always shivers whenever something is going wrong. He hopes this building isn't haunted.
“Yeah, but I’m tired now-”
“Tommy, I need you to follow me.”
Tommy's eyes widen a mid-pause of conversation with Tubbo to look over his disheveled uncle who looks like he sprint a mile. His scent was the bitter air, hinting at an unknown feeling that Tommy can’t pinpoint.
“What?”
“Tommy-” His uncle's voice held desperation. “I need you to follow me.”
Tommy looks over his uncle's hand covering his neck, feeling something isn't right.
“Sapnap, can you look over Tubbo?” His uncle's voice broke out of his trance. He looked over to Tubbo who looked worried. Sapnap nodded, face turning grim.
“Yeah man, don’t worry I will take care of the kid.”
His uncle nodded, then looked over at him. “Let's go.”
He gulped.
George paced around his room, his nerves going wild. His scent turned the smell of rotten. His heart was beating hard against his chest and he felt his heart in his throat. He wonders if Dream will never come back to his original. He fears Dream is truly gone.
“It's my fault, isn't it?” He murmurs.
He stopped mid-walk, he looked over his bed, seeing the blue and green covers mocking him. He looks up to see the banner of a smiling face and a golden crown on top. He sighs, walks over to his bed, and lays down.
He wonders if the deal with the King was worth it.
Wilbur bit inside his cheeks, tasting the iron in his mouth as he sped and walked to Dream room with Tommy following him.
‘Is this the best plan?’ He thinks as he gets closer to death.
“Uncle, what's going on? Where are you taking me?”
He continues to look forward, not giving a glance to Tommy or he would change his mind. He can't afford that.
“To King of course!” He said, his sweet words coating the utter fears he has so Tommy won’t run away.
“The king?” Tommy said. “Does he want to meet me?”
“Of course my boy! I have been saying great things about you that he wants to meet you personally!”
“Nice! You better tell him how I managed to defeat the mighty Angel Death!” Tommy snickered, looking happy. While any commoner would be fooled by Tommy's attitude, he can easily tell Tommy looked afraid.
His heart soured to see that. He shouldn't be afraid of meeting his father and yet he is. Yet he can’t blame the poor boy though. Dream did become a monster.
He manages to let out a weak laugh. “Of course, I will tell him next time-wait! A better idea.”
He finally looks over to Tommy, seeing his innocent face. It was heartbreaking at sight. He truly regrets at the stake the situation they are in. Yet he knows he couldn't let this go.
“You can tell him that personally Tommy.” He said, stopping now as they are in front of the big wooden door. “After all, he is your father.”
He knocks on the door softly, ignoring Tommy's rabid questions firing at him as he waits for Dream to open the door.
“My father! You have to be kidding!” Tommy yelled. “We are just meeting a king!”
“Tommy hush, don't give a wrong impression please.” He whispered.
“But-”
Creak
Wilbur's heart beating, he looks up to see Dream, who looks…normal. Compare earlier what happened.
“Oh hello! This must be Theseus, or you prefer to be called Tommy right?” Dream said, with a cheery tone. Wilbur looks over his shoulder to see Tommy's gobsmacked face.
“You-you-” Tommy raised his hand, pointing straight at Dream. “You're my father!?”
Dream body is still. Wilbur feared for his life when he saw Dream's body freeze and his scent going from lemon sweet to sour in seconds. Tommy's face scrunched up the smell.
Dream pushed him away, and went in front of Tommy, his body shaking from anticipation as he looked at Tommy, his son.
“Y-yes! Yes, I'm your father! Your dad!”
“Y-yes! Yes, I'm your father! Your dad!” Dream said. His voice wobbled for a bit as he stared at his son. His little son is roughly a teenager. His vision started to blur as he gazed at his son's eyes, which reminded him of his lover. He got closer to his son, but he stepped back which brought a knife against his heart.
“Tommy?”
Tommy stares at him full of shock, and amazement then turns to anger in seconds.
“Where the fuck you been!” Tommy yells.
“What?”
“Where have you been?” Why did you leave us!” Tommy yelled, tears pouring out of his eyes as they trailed down to his cheeks. “Why did you leave mom! Why did you leave me!”
‘What? Left him?’
“What do you mean Tommy?” He asks in concern, not getting his son's outburst.
“You get what I mean you f-fucker!”
“Tommy, you don’t curse at your dad.” Wilbur cut in.
“Get out of this Uncle!” Tommy furiously rubbed his eyes. “I don’t get why you're making me meet my shitty dad!”
“Tommy I-”
“Wilbur, listen to your nephew, leave us.” He said, wanting to have a private conversation with his son.
“But-”
“Now Wilbur.” His scent dominates the room, with no room for disobeying. Wilbur nodded, walking away not before giving Tommy last words.
“Listen to your dad please Tommy.” Then he left.
He breathed in, smelling Tommy’s scent that reminded him of his old lover. He smiles bitterly under his mask.
“Oh, Tommy.” He looks down at his son who furiously rubs his eyes, trying to stop the tears from falling. “Stop doing that, you 're gonna make it worse.”
“Why should I listen to you? You don’t give a f-fuck about me!” He yells.
Dream frowns, waiting for Tommy to relax so he can explain himself. He wonders what Techno exactly told his son about him. Cleary Wilbur isn’t wrong about the ‘Tommy hates his dad’ thing which hurt him deeply. He would never in a million years be a deadbeat father like his bio one did.
When Tommy calmed down, he started to speak.
“I never had a choice, Tommy.” He took a deep breath. “I never wanted to leave you, Tommy.”
Tommy's eyes have big fat tears rolling down his chin, he gave out a confused ‘huh’ as he continued.
“My son, my precious son, I never wanted to leave you-fuck I didn’t know your mother was pregnant with you until you were born!” Dream felt like he couldn’t breathe, emotions running wild. He felt pathetic to feel weak but he couldn't contain his emotions.
“What do you mean by that? Grandpa said you left us-”
“What did the old fucker say?”
Tommy gulps, seeing his dad (Which is confusing to know the new king is his dad and the fact his grandpa may lie to him) growl in anger.
“Yeah, h-he said you left us for another omega, and that's why mom hates hearing your name…” Tommy looks down, feeling weird and ashamed like he just betrayed someone close.
His scent filled the room, no more sweet scent that almost comforted him like his mother turning bitter. He scrunches his nose.
He looked up, eyes widening to see his dad hunch over, looking menacing and quiet which didn’t comfort him at all.
“I knew…I knew he always hated me, he never liked the fact a guy like me would date his precious baby…that fucker…I should've-”
Dream took a deep breath and let out a shaky sigh.
“It doesn't matter…Tommy.”
Tommy stood straight, fearing that the deranged man he called dad called his name.
“Tommy doesn’t look at me like that, I would never-” He stepped closer to him which he had to urge him to turn around and run but he didn’t. He stood his ground when the man stood over him.
“Tommy I would never hurt you, you are my son, my first born and I always loved your mother but your crazy old senile man doesn't want us to be together.” He raises his arm which Tommy flinches. The man let out a broken cry and just straight up hugged him.
“I am so sorry Tommy!” His dad's arms tighten around him, his scent is no more bitter but soothing warm envelopes around him. “I always wanted to be in your life, to see you grow, have your first walk, first word, and everything!”
He stood there in shock, hearing his dad's words honestly shook him. He never thought in a million years he would be in this situation. To the point that left him speechless.
He raises his arms, wraps around his dad, and finally lets himself go as he nuzzles under his dad's chin.
“I always wanted to meet you…I thought you abandoned us, dad…”
Tommy heard his dad's breath hitch and then let out a wheeze.
“You called me dad…”
He blushes, feeling embarrassed but noticing his dad's arms squeezing him more. Then his dad let him go, his mask facing him which is unsettling. But it doesn't matter because it's his dad!
“Tommy, do you wanna hear about my adventures? I know Sapnap told you some stories but I prefer you to hear from me?”
He smiles, feeling the wet strains on his face. “Yeah.” He scrubs his eyes. “I wanna hear the cool adventure of your manhunts.”
Tommy feels happy, knowing he doesn't have a deadbeat dad. Suck on that Connor.
Tubbo looks over the old watch, feeling worried.
“When is Tommy coming back?” He asked Sapnap who looked tense.
“I don’t know little man, don’t know.”
He hums, feeling like something changed but what?
Doesn't matter, Tommy will tell him things when he comes back, he sure misses his brother.
Wilbur paced around the small room he was currently in, feeling like the world is truly crashing down and his sin is finally catching up to him. He should've listened to his father's words but nooo he wanted to be a famous host where he tortures people.
He continues to agonize in silence until George enters the room.
He looked over at him, seeing the once beautiful omega that could rival an aphrodite looking like a walking corpse.
“Oh my god, what happened to you? Earlier you looked like a model, what happened?” Wilbur walks over to George who looks like at any second would drop to the floor.
“I feel so guilty Wilbur, I couldn't keep the secret.”
“What secret mate?”
“About your father.”
Technoblade looks around, looking for his son. His heart is beating fast, feeling his mouth dry, and looking widely around in the kingdom hoping to see his son or catch the wif of his soft scent.
“Dad! Dad!”
“Techno what is it?” Philza looked at his son, shocked at his disheveled appearance.
“Tommy!”
“Tommy?”
“He's gone, Dad! He is gone! I can't find him!” Technoblade yelled.
Philza's eyes widen and then harden. “Call Calvin, get the guards ready.”
“We need to find my grandson.”
