It’s been a few months since Kaveh’s death. Alhaitham still hasn’t gotten over him. He misses Kaveh and always thinks about what his decision led to, him working instead of spending time with him made him think he caused this. But, technically he had it coming.
He would ponder on what would have happened if he didn’t meet Kaveh. Maybe if he didn’t show up on that day, Kaveh wouldn’t have died. Alhaitham kept having second thoughts about his actions.
Alhaitham locked himself up in his room ever since Kaveh died, and would only come out to get food, or to visit Kaveh’s grave.
All of his friends were severely worried about him and tried to contact him. However, he didn’t even try to answer any of their calls or messages.
In his eyes, he was worthless.
A month has passed, Cyno managed to convince him to go outside.
He told Alhaitham that he should get therapy because of his mental state. Alhaitham had no choice but to agree and went to a therapist.
He did see a therapist, but nothing helped.
There was a therapist, then another one. A lot of different people wanted to help Alhaitham but nothing really worked.
Alhaitham would still think about what happened to Kaveh and still continuing to blame himself, no matter what the therapists would tell him.
He had already tried everything. Pills, taking care of himself, socializing yet nothing worked. He was stuck like this for a month
“Dear God of Wisdom, what did I do to deserve this… I’ve done everything I can to try and make myself feel better but nothing works. I still love him so much…”
Today was the day Kaveh died. It has already been a year ever since he passed away.
All of Kavehs friends was there, at the memorial service. Everyone was crying deeply, but for some reason… not a single tear fell down from Alhaitham’s eye. Was it the guilt je felt? When he saw Kaveh dead. Just because he didn’t have enough time for him.
A lot of people came up to Alhaitham and comforted him as they knew what has happened to him and felt bad.
Still, Alhaitham felt guilty inside. He blamed himself for the incident. He thought of himself as a murderer.
“I’m sorry for giving up this easily, but at least I’ll get to see you in heaven.”
A few days later, Alhaitham was found dead hanging in his house.
In reality, nothing will end happily.
In the end, there is death awaiting you.
