Chapter Text
"Mirko- stop. You've been on my ass for weeks now trying to find me a girlfriend." I sigh and get up from my office desk. It was a stormy day out, which made me somewhat miserable. I wanted to fly around and clear my head, but the rain stopped me from doing so. Most of the time Mirko is a very good friend to me. Though this one time, she thinks I've been upset because of being single. Kind of dumb, if you ask me. "Oh come on Hawks!! You need some affection. It's either that or be cramped up in this office." She crossed her arms and stared at me. The stare that could kill if she was angry. I position myself in a similar way and looked at her. "I can do this too, you know." Mirko scoffed and sat down in defeat. I smiled and fluttered my wings, making feathers fly towards her. I've always loved Mirko dearly, she's been there for me through thick and thin. When I started becoming a pro hero, really. She helped train me in some ways that the HPSC didn't have time for.
"Fine. Well how about a boyfriend then, eh? I know you like men as well." I felt my cheeks start to flush a little. It's true, I do like men. But I've never really felt comfortable enough to tell people. I mean, who wouldn't like men? Their fluffy, if any, hair.. mostly muscular with strong biceps.. I like them. A lot. Especially when they're down to try things. New things. "How did you find that out?" Mirko's smile widened as she glanced over at my computer. My stomach deepens while I thought of anything she could have seen on there. I used it for both personal and professional. What's the point in having two computers? All my documents were stored in my professional while my personal account was filled with, well, personal things. I'm surprised she figured out the password. Sure it was easy but who guesses the easy ones first? "What- what did you see, Mirko." All the possibilities flew threw my head. My text messages. My secret journal, which isn't childish it helps me. Especially since it feels as if I'm being stared at constantly, like I'm in the hands of someone dangerous.
"I might have saw your.. personal fantasies. I didn't dive too deep, only far enough to find you you like men." I sighed when that was the only thing she saw. Not as bad as I thought. Though my face got extremely red from embarrassment. "Of course you did. Damn.. well besides that. I don't need love. It's a waste of time. Do you have the paperwork for Eraserhead? I'm supposed to substitute his class tomorrow." I was personally quite terrified. Tokoyami had told me many stories about Class 1A, and I had a right to be scared. Especially of perverted Mineta and terrifying Bakugou. God, both of them are horrid. I can't stand being around Bakugou without shivering from his dark aura. You'd think I'd like Mineta because of my flirtatious, charming attitude, but he's just perverted all together. Nothing else. "Ah, yes I do. It's in your mailbox. There's a whole page of warnings-" Mirko chuckled and left to go get it. I sighed and sat in my chair, getting comfortable. I would be here all night reading with how Eraserhead works. Once she gave me the stack of paperwork and left, I was able to start working.

That night I didn't leave office until almost one in the morning. I didn't feel safe to leave, either. It felt as if I was being watched with a hundred eyes, burning into my neck. It was like that the whole way home too. No matter where I looked, it still felt like I was being watched from behind. Once I got home, it was calmed down a little. I could actually sleep.
