Chapter 2: Chapter 3 "The aftermath"

Summary:

Hey, yall sorry I haven't posted in a while, I just watched the first 3 episodes of season 2. I loved it and it made me emotional, especially the intimate scene between Belly and Conrad that I predicted. To be honest, I kind of forgot about this because I've been in my head lately. I graduated from community college and I am heading to Uni in the fall. Hopefully, this fic will help me get my mind off things and be in my own dream world. this chapter is just a rough draft and not finished, but I wanted to get something out for the people who have wanted an update from me.-Thank you. R

Chapter Text

Lola awoke to the alarm buzzing loudly. She groaned and made herself get out of bed.
She opened the curtains to see the sun has risen. She sat there for a few minutes gazing at the sunset.
She then looked toward her bedside table where her phone is. She picked up her phone and sat at her bedside.
She checked the time and she realized she had plenty of time before she had to be on set.
It was only 9 am and she didn’t have to be there till 12 pm. She decided to open up Instagram. She immediately scrolls through her friend’s stories. She thought her friend's stories were boring. So she decided to look at some fan accounts. She came across a post on a fan account with the caption “Belly and Conrad are twin flames!” Lola was confused by the caption. She was unsure what a twin flame was. She hasn't had much time in her past to research the internet because she was busy living in her fantasy world on screen. In confusion, she googled “twin flames” and the results were

“A twin flame is when two souls are split in two, or two people are mirror images of each other. This results in an instant connection when twin flames meet.

Lola was very intrigued that somehow described their connection. She decided to do more research on the topic. She discovered that the feminine is more awoken and spiritual and the masculine isn't as much. The feminine is emotional, and the masculine is logical. It was confusing for her to understand. She debated on asking Rain about it later. After an hour of research, she realized she had spent too much time online and needed to get to set.

- Lola spent hours laying in her bed looking at the hotel ceiling. She had this pit in her stomach since she was younger. She has always felt alone. She felt happy on the outside with a smile on her face, but something deep down terrified her. She has never been in love. She could only describe and act love from the way she has perceived movies and tv shows. Even though she worked on acting at performing art school, the idea of love terrified her. She had no life experience to go from. Usually with acting, actors pull from their life experience in order to do their job. She always had the idea of dreaming love of running off into the sunset with her lover, but that never really felt possible. After hours of researching she finally fell asleep, several hours later she was awoken by her mom telling her to get up. Everything felt real again, and she realized she wasn't living in a dream. This was her life now, and she was terrified of falling in love with her co-star.
- The ride to set was pretty quiet this morning. Lola spent the majority of the morning in her trailer since Chris and Gavin were filming their scenes today. In her head, she was glad today on set was minimal, because she was in her head and didn't want to look at Chris's face. After hours of practicing lines, it was finally her turn to leave her trailer and enter set. Thankfully, it was only a scene with her and Rain. Wardrobe picked a nice pink cute corset to wear. Belly would be at her brother's graduation party. It was a pretty aggressive scene especially since she was going to get into a fight with her on-screen brother.
