Chapter 6: Thread The Bobbin Of My Fate - Class Trial
Nene: R-Rui?!
[Before the trial began, I saw two figures in the elevator. Miku and Kamishiro…]
Tsukasa: HUHHHH?????
[Nene and Tsukasa ran over to hug him, in which they shared a long group hug]
Miku: So, wanna explain how you’re alive?
Rui: Um… you’re all going to hate me for this…
Airi: What? Im confused…
Rui: Everyone who was deceased… we were all put in another killing game..
Nene: Everyone who was… you saw Emu?! Where is she?!
Mafuyu: Did you kill someone?
Rui: I’m getting to that. There was a motive… if you killed and got away with it… we would be revived… I had to do it…
Tsukasa: So you succeeded… but…
Saki: You sacrificed everyone else! Even your best friend! And my friends!
Rui: I know, I know… i’m sorry… Emu’s face when she found out… i’ll never live that down…
Kohane: Um… who did you kill..?
[Kamishiro fiddles with the sleeves of his blazer, and looks down]
Rui: Aoyagi…
Tsukasa: You killed Toya.
[He nodded]
Tsukasa: I’m so happy that you’re back… but you sacrificed everyone there… even Toya! And Emu!
Nene: Didn’t it cross your mind that falling for motives isn’t a good idea? Do you not remember what we did?
Minori: I… i’m confused!
Rui: I’m sorry… I mean that. I have the right to be shunned.
Kohane: Um… but… let’s be honest… If I were in your situation… and let’s say.. An and someone else in my group was alive… I’d do the same thing…
Nene: You’re right… if mine and Rui’s roles were swapped.. I would be in the same position
Mafuyu: I mean… I haven’t forgiven Nene yet… so I don’t exactly think I’ll forgive you.
Tsukasa: Oh come on! Get over it!
Saki: Calm down! Let’s just… Let’s just forgive Kamishiro.
Minori: Yeah. Even if he did kill Haruka…
Mafuyu: Nene tried to kill Haruka
Tsukasa: SHUT THE HELL UP!
Airi: Please calm down! Like Saki said!
Miku: Are we forgetting why we’re here? This class trial will be our last! Who are the masterminds?
[Rui seemed to lift his head up immediately and run over to his podium]
Rui: I know who the masterminds are!
Kohane: What? You do?
Mafuyu: Can we really trust him?
Miku: Im not sure! He’s a bit crazy…
Airi: Rui, can you tell us?
Rui: The masterminds… Are Shinonome and Mizuki.
Saki: W-what?
Tsukasa: Which Shinonome?
Rui: Akiyama Mizuki and Shinonome Ena.
[Ena and Mizuki..? But… No, that perfectly adds up]
Mafuyu: No, that’s not true. They’re my friends!
Airi: Ena would never!
Rui: They didn’t die when everyone else was killed!
Minori: How would you know?
Rui: I never heard them die…
Miku: Yes but the power shut off! That would mean the nooses wouldn’t break!
Tsukasa: Since when were you a part of this?!
Miku: Eh… for funzies! But as I was saying, the nooses could of still killed them!
Nene: But… Rui’s smart!
Miku: And? Being smart doesn’t mean you can’t make mistakes! But i’m smart, so i know this: we’re in a disagreement! So…. debate time!

Mafuyu: They could have just been angry at you, and saying that you would die.
Nene: Isn’t that a bit far fetched?
Minori: Maybe, but who would believe anything from him! Or you!
Airi: Yeah! You both tried to kill!
Tsukasa: Get over that! If you’re so sure they aren’t the masterminds, who else is it?
Miku: It could be anyone~!
Saki: Or could it? What about the evidence?

Saki: Or could it? What about the evidence?
Rui: Evidence?
Saki: You weren’t there. But everyone else… you remember what the note said. The one that the masterminds wrote to Hona.
Kohane: That’s right… They mentioned how they had already convinced somebody to kill
Rui: Now i get it! Mizuki convinced Emu to kill Shinonome, right?
Airi: That’s right!
Minori: But they’re the masterminds… maybe they convinced every killer to kill!
Rui: Nene and I can confirm that we weren’t convinced by the masterminds to murder
Kohane: Akito wouldn’t want me to believe that Shinonome is a mastermind… but I think I understand now..
Mafuyu: The masterminds came up with the motives. The motives convinced all the murderers to kill! Perhaps they didn’t mean directly.
Saki: The note specifically says ‘someone’.
Tsukasa: Yes! That’s one person!
Minori: But what about the riddles? We haven’t solved them.
Saki: Well… Riddle number one…
‘Can be used for many things, even shoelaces and archery! They suit everything too!’
Saki: What can be used for shoelaces and archery, as well as suiting many things? Maybe we can link the answer to either Mizuki or Ena…
Kohane: Maybe it’s linked to the way you tie shoelaces
Airi: So a knot..? But that doesn’t link to archery..
Mafuyu: A bow. The answer is a bow.
Rui: That perfectly traces back to Mizuki.
Mafuyu: I hate to admit that, but you’re right. Mizuki… Mizuki is a mastermind.
[We all know it… but it’s hard to believe… that Mizuki would do this to us]
Kohane: So… the other mastermind must be Shinonome… or, Ena.
Minori: Let’s solve the second riddle first!
Tsukasa: What was it again?
Saki: The riddle was…
Might have to be soaked in a strong substance if you put something waterproof on there. They work best clean too, and sometimes you might stain them if you use too much pigment on them
Saki: Ena… was the ultimate artist. So what can we link from an artist?
Rui: Paintbrushes…? I’ve used quite a few, and the description fits them.
Kohane: It doesn’t say much about paint at all though…
Mafuyu: No, but paintbrushes can be stained through pigmented paints, as mentioned in the riddle.
Rui: And you have to use a liquid to clean some paintbrushes, as some paints won’t come off from water
Nene: That matches the description then… Ena is the other mastermind
Miku: What makes you think I’m Mizuki and Ena?
Tsukasa: Why are you so defensive?
Saki: Let us vote. We’ll see the truth
[Miku looks uneasy for a second and then begins to laugh]
Miku: Very well then. Let’s vote!

Miku: That’s…. That’s correct!
[Miku smiled, before turning into lots of different black and white shards, just like you would see when exiting and entering a sekai. The shards split into two groups, which formed… Mizuki and Ena]
Mizuki: Hey guys! Long time no see!
[Mizuki was wearing a black and white bow, with a bear in the middle with the same colors. The outfit they were wearing had a similar color scheme, with a laced top and a short skirt]
Ena: Did you miss us?
[Ena was wearing a matching outift, a crop top with puffy sleeves and a skirt, and in her hair were two white streaks]
Mafuyu: What is wrong with you two?!
Rui: Mizuki what the hell…
Airi: Ena! How could you!
Saki: So… you two created this sekai… and made us kill…
Mizuki: Correct!
Minori: But why! This is terrible!
Kohane: All my group is dead!
Mafuyu: Only Kanade is dead, but i hope that soon changes
[I can only sympathise with Mafuyu here.. her best friends making her do something so so horrible]
Nene: It’s your fault all of this happened!
Ena: Uh, no. We didn’t force anyone to kill!
Tsukasa: You literally asked Emu to kill and manipulated her!
Ena: That’s not forcing you. You did it from your own will
Minori: Everyone who thought of killing would have never considered it until you two came along..
Airi: I second that! We were all innocent!
Mizuki: Oh come on! We just wanted some fun!
Rui: Fun? Mizuki this cost lives!
Ena: Kamishiro. You’re the one who’s sacrificed the most people.
[Rui seemed to step back after that. It was clear he regretted it. Tsukasa put a hand on his shoulder and Nene hugged him from the side]
Nene: That’s not true… you’ve sacrificed everyone who has died for fun!
Ena: Not exactly… more despair!
Tsukasa: Despair? Are you being serious?
Mizuki: Yep!
Airi: Despair..?
Saki: You’ve chosen the wrong people… all of us here… we’re hopeful!
Mizuki: That’s exactly what we hate… but oh well! You can escape now anyway! Here are your phones! Oh, and they can only be activated at the front door of the school.
Mafuyu: Hate it then
[Mafuyu snatches her phone from them]
Ena: Well… no! Because the thing is…
Ena & Mizuki: It’s punishment time!
[They both held hands and smiled at eachother, before the trial room collapsed into a playground, where they were on top of a climbing frame, which was slowly getting hotter… it resembled… Ichika’s execution! It made me sad, remembering what happened… They were about to completely be burned, before the room collapsed into a bedroom, just like Yoisaki’s execution. They had blood streaming out their ears as music played. They were in a carnival, being spun around and pulled, like Emu’s. They were then surrounded by falling metal, each one hitting their bodies and drawing blood. I could see Rui look away uncomfortably, as this was his execution. The pair were then put on a plain stage, where a pink ribbon tied them and a paint pallet fell down, crushing them]
Mafuyu: So… we just go..?
Kohane: Yeah! Let’s head toward the exit!
[Everyone seemed to be smiling a bit]
Nene: We’re… finally free…
Minori: Eek!!!
[A piece of rubble fell next to her]
Airi: Minori! Are you okay?
Saki: What?
Mafuyu: The sekai’s collapsing… it happens when the owner dies or their feelings are lost…
Airi: We need to get to the exit quick then…
Tsukasa: Let’s go!
[Tsukasa grabbed my hand as we all started running. Everyone else was running together holding someone’s hand except for Mafuyu. I held my hand out to her, and she smiled and took it. I was running, but tripped on a piece of rubble and fell to the floor]
Tsukasa: Saki!!
Saki: Go! It’s about to fall…
[Both Tsukasa and Mafuyu tried to help me up, but a piece of the ceiling fell on my leg]
Rui: Are you guys coming? Saki!
Saki: Go! Please!
Tsukasa: NO! You’ll die.. Saki…
Saki: Thank you for all you’ve done for me, Tsukasa
Airi: Saki… just… please.. don’t let go yet!
Kohane: Saki… we wouldn’t be here without you…
Nene: We can help you if we all work together!
[Nene tried running over, but Rui and Kohane grabbed her hands]
Kohane: It’s… too dangerous…
Airi: Please hang in there..
Saki: Go!
Tsukasa: Saki… thank you… I promise I’ll become a world star for you. I promise
[I smiled at him before a bigger piece of the ceiling fell, falling towards me…]
Saki: Good luck…
MAFUYU POV
[It crushed her, blood seeping out from beneath the tile. Tsukasa stood next to me, the poor boy traumatised]
Nene: Tsukasa… let’s go. We can’t grieve here.
[I could see Nene holding back tears too]
[We all kept running, my hand clutching Tsukasa’s as we ran. We finally reached the exit]
Minori: This is it…
Tsukasa: Yeah… We wouldn’t have done this without Saki…
Airi: She went through so much, but she never gave up
Mafuyu: Saki.. i never expected so much..
Nene: Neither did I
Mafuyu: I’m sorry for how I treated you, Nene… It just hit close to home…
[Nene smiles at me]
Nene: I appreciate that
Rui: Me too. It was my dying wishes, after all
Minori: What do you guys say we form a music group? We’ll go big, I’m sure!
Airi: Like.. an Idol, Street music, troupe, whatever Mafuyu does thing?
Mafuyu: I created music with Nightcord at 25..
Tsukasa: Yeah… Saki, Toya and Emu would love for us to do that
Airi: In order to do that, we need to leave… so.. Let’s do this!
[We all got out our phones and pressed the button. Pausing the music. Pausing the despair, well… ending it.]
