Chapter Text
As the air dehumidified, the waters beyond the shore started to rise to the heights of the Empire State Building and even higher. Angry clouds formed all around the camp.
"Lord of Tides, Oh Great Poseidon, please spare the child," requested Chiron.
"You Centaur," laughed Poseidon, "I wish you'd trained Orion, he would not have become what he is today. Percy was lucky to have you.", he said reminiscing the past.
Poseidon scanned the crowd, looking around, searching for something or someone, squinting his eyes, as he scanned the faces. The atmosphere was still tense, keeping everyone on their toes. Poseidon was rarely angry, and when he was, the hell would break loose. Just like the sea, he would neither be angered nor calmed easily.
"Where is she?" whispered Poseidon, but his voice carried over the entire arena as though he had screamed.
None answered, fearing the wrath of the Lord of Tides. It seems the fates themselves were scared to confront Poseidon.
"Where is she?", asked Poseidon, this time a little louder, "Don't make me repeat it,"
Who was my uncle asking about? Annabeth maybe? But she was in the ranks, and he should have been able to see her.
As if reading my mind, "Who my Lord?" questioned Chiron, fearing the wrath of Poseidon.
"The traitor, the daughter of Zeus," Poseidon roared, and the waters splashed into the camp borders, but the campers stayed still, getting drenched in the salt water.
"You dare call my daughter a traitor!" boomed another voice, and all heads turned as one towards the newcomer.
"Ha, your daughter killed my son. What does that make her?" Poseidon laughed, "Like father like daughter, traitors by blood"
Zeus called his master bolt to hand and threatened, "You are in the presence of the King of Gods. I will dethrone you,"
"That's all you could ever do, brother," he sneered, "The past few years you have done nothing but order us, and the demigods around,"
"Don't you dare, Poseidon!"
Poseidon cut him, "Zeus, I couldn't care more about that stupid throne and Olympus. Olympus means nothing to me, my family was murdered in cold blood. And I shall take revenge for it. It is the law of the Ocean"
"I'd like to see you try, little brother"
Poseidon closed his eyes and the clouds became thicker, and the day turned pitch black, and the winds howled. Thunder boomed in the sky, as lightning shot at Zeus, with such energy, the campers 50 feet near Zeus were blasted off, as they were blinded. Everyone backed off into the distance, crowding.
Zeus shocked face itself was a sight to behold. His clothes were signed from the blast, the ground scorched black. Terror reigned. It was then I realized that it was pitch dark, and the campers were unable to see anything and the sudden lightning was too intense that people were blinded. But I was able to see perfectly in the dark.
"You... Master Bolt... How," Zeus was at a loss for words, but he did not give up and held the master bolt towards Poseidon and shot a bolt much more powerful than the one Poseidon had shot.
It hit Poseidon right in his Solar plexus, and he fell to one knee but stood up equally fast, mocking Zeus, "That's all you have?"
As the titanic clash between Zeus and Poseidon escalated, the skies above Camp Half-Blood crackled with power. Campers and counselors watched in awe and fear, unable to comprehend the magnitude of the battle unfolding before them.
Poseidon's control over the seas intensified, and the waters surged and churned, encircling him like a protective shroud. The salty waves crashed against Zeus' master bolt, sending sparks flying in all directions. The ground shook beneath their feet as the very elements rebelled against each other.
