Chapter 3: Meeting The Protagonist

Chapter Text

(Kaori’s POV)

“My name is Kayano Kaori. I was born on June 1st to an ordinary couple living in the Shizuoka Prefecture. My father was the CEO of an electrical company, while my mother was a leading member of a highly classified research facility.”

“I wouldn’t say my life was perfect. What I will say is that I was incredibly privileged and fortunate. We lived in a good house, always had enough money, and even if my parents had very busy jobs, they always found time for me. They always ensured I was happy and kept track of how many times I would smile and laugh during a day. Life was going on great…until I lost everything. Two months before my 10th birthday, I lost my parents and everything I own in a fire. What I got in return was a burned arm and an incredible fear of fire.”

“However, I also received the memories of a past life, I life where I had knowledge about the future of my new world. And I would use this information to keep those I love safe.”

“BEEP BEEP BEEP!”

“BEEP BEEP BEEP!”

Instinctively, I let out a groan after hearing the alarm. Then I remembered what day it was. “Oh shit.” I jumped out of bed. Today was the day I had been waiting for the past 3 years. I quickly got myself into my uniform and made my way to the bathroom. I stared at myself in the mirror. As the year passed, I realized that I was growing up looking the exact same as I did in my previous life. The only difference was the silver hair and violet eyes. After I made sure I was presentable, I walked down the stairs. I heard the sound of Aizawa in the kitchen preparing breakfast. “How do I look, Oji-san?”

He turned his head from the stove and stared at me. “You look good in the Aldera High uniform.” I smiled. “Though I don’t understand why you choose to go to that school.” When Aizawa had taken me in, my schooling was taught to me from ages 10 to 13 by tutors. When both he and I were free, he would take me to UA, where he would train me.

And he wasn’t lying when he said he wouldn’t go easy on me. I still remember the bruises from falling. But the price was worth it, as not only do I no longer feel queasy with extreme heights since I can use my quirk to catch myself, I’m pretty sure I gave Aizawa a few heart attacks as well.

Two years into our living together, I told him about the school I wanted to go to for Junior High. At first, he didn’t understand why I wanted to go since I had the money to go to other higher-ranking schools. All I told him was that I wanted to be normal. Now, dressed in the black Aldera High uniform with a matching black glove on my right arm, I was ready to start meeting the cast… well, two of them, at least.

“And you’re sure you don’t want me to drive you?” Aizawa asked. “I’m sure,” I say with a smile, walking over to help Aizawa with cooking. Most of the time, I was the one who made breakfast. Not because Aizawa made me but because he couldn’t stop me. I still remember the first time I tried cooking in the kitchen. It was two weeks after I moved in, and I had decided to start helping around the house. And besides, I had gotten tired of secretly cleaning. When Aizawa found out, however, he was adamant about waking up as early as I did to supervise. “Besides, you won’t be able to take me all the time. So I’m gonna have to walk on my own at some point.”

“True, but what if something happens?” The man sighed.

“Like what?”

“If you get lost.”

“Then I’ll use the phone you bought me several weeks ago.” I stared at the phone Aizawa had gotten me for my 13th birthday. “You bought it for this purpose, after all.”

“What if the phone gets stolen or you lose it? What if you encounter a villain?”

“I highly doubt I’ll lose the phone. As for it getting stolen or encountering a villain, I have what you taught me, so I know it’ll be fine.”

“And if the villain is stronger than you.” This time I heard the smirk in his voice. “Damn, he’s been teasing.” “Then I’ll sit in my shield and press the panic button on my bracelet. Then you’ll know to come save me.” I smile. I help him carry to food to the table. As we start eating, my mind begins to wonder about several facts I’ve picked up since I awakened.

Ever since Aizawa had taken me in, he’d been different. The difference was small, but it was both physical and mental. He looked less tired and more well-kept. The bags under his eyes were less noticeable than they were in canon, and he seemed happier. “I wonder if taking care of me managed to pull him away from the trauma of Shirakumo’s death, even if it were only a little.”

I still remember walking in on him awake in his room late at night. I had just turned 11. He told me to go to sleep, and I told him to do the same before taking the yellow sleeping bag and hiding it in my room, pulling him from his desk, and climbing into his unoccupied bed, dragging him in with me.

“I won’t be able to fall asleep here,” Aizawa said, his back facing me.

“Why not?”

“If a villain attacks at night, especially at home, they would attack the bed.”

“Then I’ll use my shield.” I bring my arms around his waist.

“The villain won’t be outside the shield; the villain will be me. Kaori, I move around a lot when I sleep, and I’ve heard from others that it’s hard to wake me up. I tried sleeping in a bed before, but I moved at night and fell off. Thus I’ve slept in my sleeping bag.”

He tried pulling my arms off, but I locked them together. “Let me try Oji-san. If you can’t fight the villain, I’ll fight them for you, even if I get hurt.”

That was the first time I had slept in Aizawa’s room. I knew he had his insomniac episodes, and I knew what caused them. I also knew that he would never admit having nightmares about a certain death to an 11-year-old who also had nightmares about her parents.

Afterward that night, I would always check to make sure he was asleep. Sometimes he was, but most of the time, he wasn’t and trying to hide that fact. If he was awake, I would drag him from his yellow sleeping bag using my quirk while using my hand to cover his eyes. I knew he could stop me if he truly wanted to, but he just let me place him on the bed.

I did that till I turned 13 when Aizawa told me that I should stop worrying about him since he could fall asleep on his own. He told me that since he was an adult, hashtag 27, he should be the one worrying about me and not the other way around. Little did he know that even if I was physically a helpless minor, I was now mentally 22.

“Here’s your lunch money,” Aizawa spoke, pulling me from my thought. “That’s okay.” I take out dishes back to the sink. “You already bought me a phone recently. And besides, I haven’t really gotten a chance to use my card yet, even if it is for something so small as a lunch fee.” “Ah yes, my black card. You are so lucky I have a partial adult brain and not an up-and-coming teenage one.”

I reach to start the water before Aizawa stops me. “I’ll do them. You have to get going anyway.” I grab the backpack that had been lying on the couch and throw it over my shoulder. “By Oji-san.” I wave as I walk out the door. “Let’s see; it’s about a 15 to 20-minute walk from here. I have to be at Aldera by 8:30, and it’s currently 8:05. I have time to look around a bit.”

While I had lived here for the past three years, I only really walked around a little. Besides the private schooling and lessons from Aizawa, I spent my time reading about everything this world could offer. From quirks to heroes to history to anything else that didn’t exist in my past life. Hell, even the technology. I had to know all of it if I wanted to truly make a difference in the storyline. Luckily, I loved reading, even in my past life. I also loved to draw. I had already come up with a hero costume.

As I walked through the area, I couldn’t help but stare. I wasn’t born in Japan in my past life. In fact, I had died before I could visit. As I walked view of the school, I took notice of the blossoms falling from the trees in the outer court.

“Cool.” As I walked forward, however, I noticed a small crowd walking toward the entrance. In the center was a familiar blonde-haired boy with a loud voice. “Bakugo.” But what really caught my attention was the green-haired boy following the crowd from behind. I smiled. “Midoriya.”

Part of the reason I, well the whole reason actually, why I wanted to go to Aldera was to meet these two. And to save their friendship, of course. I knew it would be tough, but I couldn’t think of a better challenge than to make Bakugo less of a bully. Cause while the angry pomeranian did have his redemption in season 6, I didn’t want to wait that long. And besides, Bakugo is one of my favorite characters, so of course, I wanted to help him, even if he didn’t want it.

Walking into the school and around its halls where intimidating, to say the least. Once I arrived at the classroom, I instantly choose the seat directly behind Bakugo and directly beside Midoriya. The teacher wasn’t there yet, and the crowd of boys was still surrounding Katsuki, so I decided to do the one logical thing, talk to the one person everyone was avoiding. “Hello there,” I said to the certain green-haired boy beside me. “What’s your name?”

The entire room went deathly silent as I spoke to him. The boy, on the other hand, was flustered and turning a bright red. “I’m Mi- do- ri- ya Izu-ku.” The boy managed to stutter. “Nice to meet you, Midoriya. I’m-”

“Don’t waste your time on a person like him!” A certain pomeranian yelled. “What’s wrong with him.” I turned to Bakugo, asking in a sweet voice. He froze and stared at me. As I got older, more and more people began to comment about how I looked. I asked Aizawa if people thought I was that pretty. He said, besides the hair and eyes I got from my father’s side, I look exactly like my mother. And she always used to brag about how guys would never leave her alone.

“You must be new to the region.” A boy in his group spoke, his face holding a light dusting of pink while his eyes stared at the ground, not daring to make eye contact. “I am,” I said with a gentle voice. “What does it matter?” “Well, it’s just that most everyone here group up in the same area, so most of us already know each other. We already know about him.”

“About who?” I asked, playing dumb. “About the shit-nerd beside you,” Bakugo said, his voice uncharacteristically low. “Everyone knows that damn nerd’s quirkless.” I looked over at Midoriya, who held his head low, his arms blocking me from seeing his face. “Oh,” I murmured, still playing the part. “Well, why should I care about that.”

The gasp that rang throughout the room was so loud that I was surprised no one came in to check on us. “It shouldn’t matter if someone has a quirk or not, the same way as it shouldn’t matter if someone has money or not, if someone’s attractive or not. None of that should matter.” I look at the boy beside me again, his face holding the most surprised look I’ve ever seen. “As I said, nice to meet you, Midoriya. I’m Kayano Kaori.”

“Guess you're a regular weak pretty-faced extra if you want to befriend someone like him.” Bakugo scoffed. I let my gentle smile turn sharp. “Don’t let the pretty face scare you 'cause I’m full of surprises.” My voice went low as I spoke, letting people realize that I was more than a pretty face.

“I’m starting to like you,” Bakugo said as he turned around to face me. “The name’s Bakugo Katsuki, and I’m going to become the number one hero. If you want ever want to hang around real people instead of that shit-nerd, you know where to find me.”

“I think I’ll pass.” The venom in my voice didn’t match the gentleness of my face. Bakugo grinned. “Why, scared I’ll beat you to pieces.” “On the record,” I stood from my chair and sat down on the desk. Hanging my feet off the edge, I pulled on the back of Bakugo’s seat till it fell forward, causing him to yelp. I held the chair up until his head was right below mine. “I think you’re the one who’ll be begging for mercy.”

“Why you fucking-” I placed a hand over his mouth as the teacher walked in. I pushed the chair back into its upright position. “It’s best not to let the teacher hear you swear on the first day,” I whispered to the blonde before leaning back into my chair. Quickly, I pulled a piece of paper from my bag and wrote a short message on it before passing it forward. Bakugo grinned before muttering, “I’m going to enjoy this.”

Once the teacher finished introducing himself and all of us, he began his lecture. I took this opportunity to pass notes with Midoriya.

“Sorry about him.”

“What about him?”

“Kacchan’s been like since his really powerful quirk arrived.”

“Kacchan?”

“It’s a nickname I’ve had for him. We’ve been friends for a long time.”

“I wouldn’t really call his actions toward you actions of a friend. Actions of a bully fits more.”

“The was a time when Kacchan wasn’t like this. Then he got his quirk, and it all got to his head.”

“That can do it.”

“What did you write him anyway?”

“I told him to fight me in the gym after school to see who was stronger.”

“WHAAAAT!!?”

“Oh come on, relax.”

“HOW CAN I RELAX!?”

“If he won, I would have to ditch you. If I won, I would befriend him.”

“Kayano, Kacchan has a really strong quirk. I haven’t met anyone who could stand up to him.”

“Then I’ll be the first.”

With that, I kept the note after he gave it back to me, even though he clearly looked like he wanted to say more. Sorry Midoriya, but I really need to study. Even if being tutored was really easy with my past memories, high school is a different kind of territory. But then again, I’m not sure how I could focus when I know what’s going to happen after school.

Time Skip

“Are you sure you want to do this, Kayano-san?” I grin back at the clearly nervous boy as we walk toward the school gym. “It’ll be fine, Midoriya-kun.” The boy blushed furiously at the honorific. As we entered the gym, I saw Bakugo standing in the center with a few other boys standing behind him. “Took you long enough.” The blonde growled. “I was beginning to think that you chickened out and wouldn’t show.”

“I never back down from a challenge Bakugo.” I put my hair up and give my backpack to Midoriya. “Do you mind holding this?” “Not at all.” Midoriya took the bag and watched as I walked to meet Bakugo in the center. “And besides,” I say, continuing our conversation. “I am a woman of my word.”

“You’re so going to regret this new kid.” Bakugo grinned as his friends watched from behind. “I’m so going to crush you.” In an instant, he pushed himself forward with several explosions.

I tried to hold back a smile. “This is going to be fun.”

I watched as Bakugo pushed himself closer and closer. The smile I was hiding burst forth into a full-out grin. “He’s fast… but I expected him to be faster.” Just before he reached the place I stood, he brought his hands forward and shot an incredible explosion. “DIEE!” I summoned two disks. Jumping on one of them, I threw myself over Bakugo and sent the other one in front of Midoriya. Instead of them being only a meter in diameter from the first time I used them, there were a little over two.

As the smoke cleared, Bakugo was greeted with the sight of a transparent disk covering Midoriya. “Bakugo!!” One of his friends yelled, pointing up. He spun around to face me. “You know, you shouldn’t block your view of an opponent who is faster than you.” I pulled the disk shielding Midoriya and sent it slamming into Bakugo, sending him into the wall.

“Yield!!” I yelled as I pulled the shield back. “Guess you have something after all,” Bakugo grunted. He placed one hand behind him and one hand in front. Shooting forward with one hand, he sent another explosion directly at my face. This is where I realized my fatal mistake.

As the heat reached my face, it triggered a memory of something I dearly wanted to forget. “Damnit, I should have known instead of playing protagonist. I still hate fire.” I felt my vision begin to fog as I watched as Bakugo shoot closer as if he was in slow motion. I felt myself breathing faster. “Damnit!! I can’t have a panic attack now!”

I barely managed to pull my second shield in front of me before Bakugo created another blast, sending me backward. “There’s something different now,” Bakugo said from the smoke. “You’re shaking.” “Damnit.” Sure enough, I felt my hands shaking as my brain tried to pull me from this fight.

“Don’t mind that, Bakugo.” I said, trying to keep my voice still. “Let’s just say this pretty face package has a little extra trauma.” I swung myself higher into the air and sent my second shield back at Bakugo. He used an explosion to doge it. “That won’t work on me twice!!”

“I know!!” “Damnit!!” I felt my heart rate spiking. “If I want to win this, I have to end it now!” I brought myself back to the ground, fighting the incoming panic attack I knew I was going to have. With Bakugo still focused on the second disk, I sent my first one back up into the air, surrounding him in a violet ball.

Bringing my hands down, I threw the ball to the ground, instantly shrinking it around Bakugo the moment it touched the floor. “Yield Bakugo!!” I began shrinking the barrier till the blonde was forced to his knees. “You can’t win this!!” “Please yield. I can’t…” I felt my vision fade. I barely had enough consciousness to continue shrinking the barrier.

“I yield!” He screamed. I let out a sigh of relief as I felt my strength leave. Deactivating my quirk, I fell to my knees and let myself fall.

(Midoriya’s POV)

I couldn’t help the sense of awe that overcame me as I watched Kayano fight Kacchan. Her quirk was so strong, and she was so brave to stand up to him. “I have to ask her about what she wants to be when she grows up because she would make an awesome hero.”

“Yield Bakugo!” Kayano yelled as she shrunk that barrier around Kacchan. “You can’t win this!!” I watched as Kacchan tried using his quirk but only ended up hurting himself. “I yield!” He screamed. “I can’t believe it! Kayano beat Kacchan.”

“Kayano!” I screamed as I ran up to her. “You did it! You-” I watched as she fell to the floor. “Kayano-san!” I sprinted forward, the feeling of victory immediately gone. She hit the ground before I could catch her. “Kayano-san!” I gripped the back of her head, holding her up while placing another hand on her waist. “Kacchan, what did you do?!”

“I fucking lost, goddammit!” He screamed at me while his other friends left the building. They knew that they shouldn’t be there for this. He turned to follow them before muttering something and running over. I flinched and let out another scream, but Kacchan stopped.

“What happened to her?” He asked, looking at the scene in front of him. “She just collapsed!” He started smiling. “So I won then, 'cause she passed out.” I stared at the girl in my arms, noticing her breathing. “I don’t think this is exhaustion, Kacchan. She’s breathing too fast. I think this is a panic attack.”

The smile that Kacchan had left his face immediately. “Did I do that?” I shrugged. “Panic attacks are a result of experiencing a traumatic event. Something today must have triggered her into having a memory.” Kacchan kelt down across from me.

“Hey, sleeping beauty. Don’t expect some prince charming to come wake you up.”

“Kacchan!”

“What?”

“Don’t joke like that! We can’t leave her like this!”

“I fucking know that, Deku!!”

I flinched at the name as he took Kayano out of my arms. “Put her on my back.”

“Eh!”

“What! Do you want to carry her 'cause I know for sure you’re ain’t strong enough to walk the whole way to the nurse's office!”

“OKAY!”

I tried my best to gently place her on Kacchan’s back. “She’s still hyperventilating,” I say. Bakugo scoffs. “No duh, I can feel her breathing on me.” He began to walk back to the entrance. Quickly, his slow walk broke into a full sprint as Kayano's breathing stilled. “Ugh…” She groaned. “Kayano-san!” I yelled, helping Bakugo place her on the ground.

“I think-” She took a deep breath. “I think that was the worst panic attack I had in a while.” “Kayano-san! Are you alright!? We were so worried.” “I was not worried!”

“Thanks for worrying over me Bakugo-kun. I’m fine now.”

“If you’re fine now,” Bakugo said, his snarky tone returning. “Then you have to admit your loss. I expect to see you ditching a certain someone.” I felt my heart sink as I remember the deal Kayano had with Kacchan.

Surprisingly, Kayano smiled. “But you see… I didn’t lose.” She smirked. “If I remember correctly, you yielded before I had a panic attack. Meaning the match was already over. Meaning I still won.”

“Not in my book, you didn’t. If I had kept going, I would’ve-”

“But you didn’t.” Kayano cut him off. “You yielded, meaning I won.”

“Tch… Whatever.” Bakugo said as he started walking away. “

“By the way Kayano-san.” I asked. “If you don’t mind me asking, what triggered you?” Bakugo stopped walking to listen in. Kayano gave a saddened smile, her left arm holding her right. Then she pulled what looked to be a glove off of her right hand, revealing a horrible scar. I felt myself gasp at the sight. Even Kacchan seemed to be stunned next to me. She pushed the sleeve up, revealing more up until her elbow. “Kayano-san…” I heard myself say.

“I got this scar from a fire.” Kayano spoke, eyeing her scarred arm. “It was that fire that burned everything I owned and killed my parents right in front of me. It was that fire that made me hear their screams.” She looked at both me and Katsuki. “To answer your questions, the fire from Katsuki’s explosions caused me to relive a memory I would much rather forget. To put it simply, I hate fire. And now you know what happens when I come in contact with it.”

Kayano pulled the glove back up her arm and pushed the sleeve down. I opened my mouth to speak, but she beat me to it. “Now that you both know my little secret, I would much appreciate it if you kept that between us. Right? Izuku-kun, Katsuki-kun…” I felt a heat cover my face at the use of my given name. I could tell Kacchan was under the same effect as he tried to hide his face.

“Well I’m off.” Kayano waved as she walked through the gates of the school. “See you both tomorrow. And please try not to kill each other while I’m gone. Do it for me, please.” She winked, sending my face a shade of red I’ve never gone before. I heard Kacchan grunt as he left the school as well. Leaving me to watch both their silhouettes afternoon sun.

(Kaori’s POV)

As I walked back, I tried to push every memory of that night back down. “Damnit. I hate being this scared of fire. I still haven’t found a way to get rid of it, either. Not even the therapy and counseling I’ve gotten has worked.” I felt cold even as the sun shown down upon me, my hands shaking with nerves.

After what just happened, it took half an hour to get home, so by the time I walked through the door, Aizawa was pacing in the living room. “Kaori.” He breathed a sigh of relief as he saw me walk through the door.

I shut the door behind me and stood there, frozen. “You were supposed to get home ten minutes ago.” He sighed. “I’m sorry, I should have expected you to come a bit later, considering it was your first day.” As he looked at me, I kept my eyes on the ground. He noticed my shaking hands.

In an instant, Aizawa had knelt before me. He frowned, but his voice was gentle. “Kaori… what’s wrong.” I turned my head, avoiding eye contact as I stared at the wall beside us. “Kaori…” Aizawa growled. “Did someone burn you?” He asked, his voice low as he placed a hand on my cheek. “There are scorch marks on your uniform.”

“I’m fine, Oji-san…” I said, putting up a smile. “I just got into a disagreement with a person in my class. Turns out they had a quirk that could produce fire.” I pulled his hand from my face as I moved to walk up the stairs. He grabbed my hand. “Kaori, bullying is a crime, and if someone is hurting you-”

“I’m truly fine, Oji-san.” I smiled. “Besides, Bakugo won’t be like that forever. I’ll make sure of it.” “All that happened was a little argument between principles.” With that, I threw his hand off mine and made my way up the stairs. Once in my room, I closed the door behind me before sliding down, my back to the door. “Just breathe… it’s fine…”

I placed my arms on my knees before burying my face in them. “If I can’t handle the fire from Bakugo’s explosions, then how am I supposed to help him during the sludge villain fight? How am I supposed to help Shouto and Touya? If Touya is still salvageable, that is.” I dried the tears starting to form in my eyes with the back of my sleeve. “I need to find a way to get rid of this trauma. I can’t expect to do anything in the future if I don't.”

*Knock knock*

I jumped from the door and crashed onto my bed, making sure to face the wall as I threw the blanket over me. I wasn’t pretending to sleep as I knew I could never fool the hero, but he knew that if I was in this state, I wouldn’t want to talk to anyone. “Kaori?” His voice called from behind the door. I didn’t answer; still, I heard the door open.

I listened to his footsteps as he walked over to my bed, the mattress creaking as he sat down. After a few seconds, he spoke. “Do you want to talk about it?”

“What is there to talk about?”

I heard Aizawa sigh. “You know Kaori, since we’ve started living together, there I times I wonder if I’m truly the adult. Ever since I’ve gotten to know you, I feel like I’m hanging around someone my age rather than a kid. You’ve always been able to tell if there was something wrong and always found a way to cheer me up. Let me try this time.”

“I already told you. There’s nothing to talk about. I just got into a disagreement at school.”

“And that disagreement led to you having a panic attack. One caused by someone using a fire quirk on you. That isn’t nothing.”

I sat up and hugged my knees but still didn’t face him. “It was my fault. I might have challenged them.”

“Challenged them?” Aizawa’s voice turned serious. “Kaori, what kind of challenge.”

“I challenge after school to see who was stronger in terms of quirk prowess.”

Aizawa sighed. “You said that you got into a disagreement of principles, not a battle with illegal quirk usage.”

“I wasn’t lying when I said it was a disagreement of principles, though. There was a student who tried to keep me from befriending a quirkless classmate. They said that since he was quirkless, he wasn’t worth my time. They told me to join their friend group, but I refused. They then asked if I was scared and if he was stronger than me. I ended up telling them that I was stronger.”

“And how did this end up with a fight?” Aizawa sighed.

“Simple,” I grinned, thinking back to the memory. “I challenged them to a fight after school. If he won, I would have to leave the quirkless student alone. If I won, I would befriend him.”

“Why did you do that, Kaori?”

“Because I wanted to help the bully. I know that everyone in the world has their reasons for acting the way they do. And most of the time, people like the student I fought have a reason that needs saving.”

The man behind me sighed. “You could have told a teacher. You didn’t have to put yourself in that position.”

Ehhh… knowing the school, telling a teacher would have ended with me in more trouble rather than fix anything.” I slowly looked up, meeting Aizawa’s gaze. He had a certain look that told me he was waiting for an explanation. “Okay fine…” I let out. “I might have done a little research on the school before I asked to go.”

“And what did your research find?” I didn’t answer him. “Kaori… did you know about the condition school’s faculty?” I nod. “What did you find?” Aizawa’s voice was stiff.

“When I was looking for nearby schools, Aldera was one of the top results. But it wasn’t for the best schools, it was for one of the worst.” He didn’t answer and just started, a disappointed look on his face. “Kaori-“

“I know you might not agree with my decision, but I really want to go to this school. Part of that reason is because the bullying is so bad.” Aizawa raised an eyebrow. “So you admit that there are people bullying you. Kaori that’s-“ “I’m not the one being bullied, Oji-san, it's another student there. They’re the reason I wanted to go to Aldera. I wanted to protect them.”

“I’m not disappointed in you Kaori, it’s just… choosing to go to a school like that, no matter how heroic the reason, could end up harming your education. If you knew that this school’s staff and students were like this, did you consider the chance that going might be damaging?”

“Don’t worry Oji-san, even if this school fails it’s students’ behavior, They are still pretty good in terms of academics.” “After all, Bakugo and Midoriya rank third and fourth during the mid-terms.” “Do you trust me?”

The man sighed. “Of course I trust you. But the minute the bullying becomes unbearable, tell me so I can do something about it,”
