Chapter Text

As time passed, their relationship slowly returned to normal. However, there was still one odd thing Beelzebub had noticed whenever he left the desk in the room or when Adamas entered the room. Beelzebub would notice that his desk would be organized and tidied up. Almost as if Adamas had been cleaning up after he left, which was strange behaviour. The demon couldn't understand why the god would do this.

Adamas would subconsciously clean up the demon's desk area and organize the things and papers that Beelzebub had left behind after a long workday. He would wander, study the creepy creature inside the tube, clean something and on a rare occasion, Adamas played around with his magic.

Adamas boredom had reached a peak of autopilot at Beelzebub lab. Adamas really missed his godly duty, with him having to constantly deal with a lot of work and meetings.

Although he enjoyed performing his divine duties, Adamas did not like associating with Zeus. He preferred to slap Zeus's document on that little shit head without wasting time and effort.  "Awwww, adamas-niichan! For your poor little cute brother, please,"  Adamas shuddered at the memories.

Back to the present, Adamas is currently staying at Beelzebub place. He was feeling restless and wanted to go wherever the mood took him. Adamas felt a strong urge to clean up after Beelzebub, as the mess and clutter were starting to get on his nerves. The god stood up and began to organize the books and papers on Beelzebub's desk to make them look cleaner and more organized. When he noticed that Beelzebub had left a coffee mug filled with coffee on the desk, Adamas picked up the mug and walked towards the pantry to wash it properly.

After Beelzebub returns from grabbing something, he looks at the room weirdly. He could've sworn he left the room in a mess, yet everything was neatly cleaned and organized. He noticed Adamas, who was lying down and reading a book. The god turned away from him when he saw the demon's gaze.

Beelzebub knew that the god was trying to pretend he had not been doing some work. Still, the demon couldn't help but feel a tiny spark of amusement at Adamas's antics.

"I warned you. Do  not  touch my work," Beelzebub warned him countless times.

The ex-god of conquest looked up from his book and sighed, not wanting to talk. "I'm bored," he mumbled, returning to his reading.

"You're not a maid", Beelzebub suddenly said to Adamas, in confusion about the state of the room.

"What was that? You want me to wear it for you now?" Adamas retorted with annoyance and irritation.

Silence

Beelzebub's eyebrows shot up as he looked down at Adamas, not sure if he had heard him correctly. Well, the idea was not bad, Beelzebub thought. Beelzebub couldn't help but picture Adamas in a maid outfit, that long skirt flowing gracefully as Adamas walked back and forth cleaning.

No.

How about the short one? Beelzebub can see a garter belt squishing Adamas's thigh, holding the short skirt down when the wind blows while Adamas hanging the clothes.

or

when Adamas wearing an apron cooking, with a soft voice, "My demon cutie scientist,  would like to have a taste?" Beelzebub mentally imagines Adamas feeding him a spoonful of food. "Ahh~". Beelzebub's imagination started getting out of hand as if it was worth it to unleash the wrath of the underworld king.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, in the underworld, Hades was working in his office, but suddenly the king snapped his pen into two and disintegrated as a deadly aura enveloped his senses. His servant was frightened and trembling in fear, unaware of what had caused the king's sudden anger.
Hades's brotherly instincts kicked in, "It seems like an insignificant lowlife; imagine my sweet little Adamas with something they shouldn't have," Hades ruminated furiously.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

On the other hand, Adamas couldn't help but worry that he had accidentally pried into an important topic the demon was researching. He feared that Beelzebub would become angered with him and curse him if he thought Adamas was trying to interfere or influence his research.

The god didn't take the time to learn about Beelzebub's research. Still, the demon's messy office and piles of research papers reminded him of someone he had once taught in the past, and he decided to ignore those thoughts and focus on the situation at hand.

Lowering his god-like ego, Adamas then spoke honestly and truthfully. "Sorry, the sight is kinda pissing me off," Adamas made it clear that he was feeling slightly annoyed and irritated by the mess and the excessive research papers that were cluttering Beelzebub's desk.

Beelzebub just ignored Adamas's confession while huffing in anger. The demon quickly walked over towards his desk and began rummaging through the papers and books spread across the desk. Beelzebub scavenges the desk and pulls out the desired report in under five seconds??

Blinking confusingly, Beelzebub looked back at Adamas, who still faced away from him, reading.

As Beelzebub searched through the documents and papers, he realized that they were organized better than he had ever done before. It turned out that Adamas had not only cleaned up the mess but had also sorted the papers and books by timeline and other factors.

Beelzebub felt both surprised and impressed by the organization of the desk. He couldn't help being impressed by Adamas's effort and attention to detail.

'So is this how the second Greek brother does his work'  the demon thought. He was surprised by Adamas's skills and efficiency.

Beelzebub walked away, he suddenly felt a buzzing in his pocket. Reaching out, he saw a message from the underworld king.

"Hope my disturbance does not hinder your work,

and I hope you're not doing anything FUNNY with Adamas,"

Hades had said in his message.

.

.

Beelzebub stopped at his track……how did he?

As Beelzebub spent more and more time with Adamas, Beelzebub felt that the walls around him were slowly crumbling. They began to get closer and eliminated the large space that used to be present between them. Beelzebub felt less lonely when he was around Adamas and appreciated having someone else to share his thoughts and interests with. He felt happy and content whenever he was in Adamas's presence, which he had never felt before. Surprisingly Adamas was an excellent listener and opinion-giver.

When Adamas chattered freely with him, a small smile quirked up on Beelzebub's face. Ahh, how he wishes this moment would last longer.

Unbeknownst to Beelzebub, a sinister being started to creep out from him.

Y̖͇̪͂͡o̷̲̳ͯͫͣͬư̰̠̟͇̹̙̲̤͌ͭ̄ŕ̸̦̭͍̘̤͇ͅ ̵̤̠̳̯͋̑͛l̨̞̲̫̩̜̝̅ŏ̗̟ͦ̔ͤ͞v̤̘̯͙̤̞̊̍͡ê̷͕̭̤͕̬ͬ̽͛ ̞̱ͦ͗͢iͧͦͭ҉͉͉̝͈̱̱s̓͏̲͎͓̹̰̳͇ ͆̂̐҉̘͚̱ͅā̡̤̣̗̹̬͍̞͍t̸̹͈̠̥̮̒̀̓ ̮̜͔̍͜ḯ̹̟̹̪̬̗̪ͨ͘t̡͔͓̣͙͇̃ͨ̚s̷͈͖͇̳̟̗ͤ̎͐ͪͅͅ ̱̫̮̊͛͢p̸͓̘̏͂ͧͯę͔͉͍͍ͨ͑a̝͖̙͎̞͈͈ͭ̌̇́͘ͅk͛̏҉̟̩̞̤̹.̨̪̤͙̻͈̺̩̳̽̔͂̂

Adamas saw Beelzebub sleeplessly slumped over on his chair; Adamas was distracted by the sight of Beelzebub sleeping uncomfortably in his chair, with his neck in an odd position. He decided to do something about it, so he gently shook Beelzebub awake.

"Hey, wake up. It's not good for your neck," Adamas said softly as he poked the sleeping demon.

"Yo Beel," he called out again, this time louder and more persistent.

"Beelzebub?" Adamas called out once more as he shook the demon awake.

"Hey! Scientist freak, wake up!" he called out with a slightly irritated tone.

Beelzebub's red eyes with a blacked sclera opened and stared at him, Adamas felt taken aback by the intensity of the demon's stare.

"Dude, chill, I'm just joking," Adamas said, stepping back and raising his hand.

"I'm just concerned about my one and only living entertainment here," he said to Beelzebub, trying to calm the demon while simultaneously reminding him of their unique relationship. The demon eyes just followed Adamas's movement as he was about to leave the room.

"At least go back to your bed, or you're going to wake up cran-"

However, Adamas quickly fell silent as one of Beelzebub's sharp hands tried to pierce his abdomen. Before Adamas could finish his sentence, the god instinctively moved out of the demon's way and avoided the sudden attack.

BANG

Adamas was now fully alert.

"Huh?!" Adamas exclaimed in surprise, glancing up at Beelzebub with a mixture of confusion.

"Dude, what the..." Adamas asked, his voice filled with confusion.

Beelzebub was now standing, looking down for a brief moment and lift up. He was staring at Adamas with a wicked smile, and Adamas suddenly felt shuddered.

"Who the fuck are you?" Adamas asked in a harsh tone, now standing on his guard. His tone was now filled with uncertainty as he felt a change in the demon's aura.

The demon lunged forward with incredible speed. Adamas quickly dodged out of the way, now entirely focused on the battle at hand after noticing that this 'Beelzebub' wasn't responding to his calls.

CLANG

He felt a rush of adrenaline course through his veins, as he now knew that this wasn't just a playful interaction between him and the lord of flies. It was a fight to the death.

However, Adamas was still hesitant to unleash his offensive attack yet and went into defence, worried that he might hurt Beelzebub.

Adamas fiercely dodged and weaved away from the demon's attacks, sensing the demon's hungry gaze upon him. He could feel the Beelzebub's blackened eyes on him, its hunger for him growing by the second. It wanted to kill him.

CLANG CRACK

"Shit, the room is a mess now," Adamas thought, looking around the chaotic surroundings. He continued to dodge and weave away from the demon's attacks, as he didn't have time to think about the destruction caused by their fight.

"Something is controlling this brat,"  Adamas thought briefly, recognizing that the Beelzebub's aggression may not entirely be its own choice.

His graceful footwork managed to tire the demon, as the two of them now stood at a safe distance from each other.

"Listen, whoever the hell you are," Adamas began as he glared at the demon with a hint of annoyance in his eyes. "You're gonna regret making me go all out against you."

DASH

The demon attacked again, this time with more force, striking Adams and throwing him to the ground. Adamas tried to get up, but the demon pinned him down, grasping both of Adamas's hands on top of his head

BAM

"Nggh," Adamas grunted, struggling against the demon's strength as he desperately tried to free himself from the hold. His muscles strained and flexed as he attempted to escape the demon's grasp, but the demon held him down with an iron grip.

CRACKING

"You little sh*!" Adamas struggled, feeling get pinned down by the demon's weight. The demon's crazed smile was just an inch away from his face, and his eyes were full of intense hunger and lust.

"I need to make him snap out of it,"  Adamas thought, trying to figure out how to save himself and snap the demon out of the crazy mindset it seemed to be in.

Adamas didn't give up, and he finally managed to overpower the demon and push him back.

However, the demon wasn't ready to give up either, and he quickly extended and sharpened his claws before lunging towards Adamas again. The demon didn't want to let Adamas go that easily. He continued to attack, using all his strength and speed to try to overpower Adamas again.

"What a drag," Adamas said, sounding slightly frustrated.

Adamas continued to fight back, but the confined space of the room gave him a huge disadvantage. He kept running out of space to dodge entirely, and the demon managed to wound him bad, drawing blood on Adamas abdomen.

drip drip

He flinched in pain and put on pressure on the wound.

Adamas tried to return the attack, but his own wounds caught up with him, the pain was written all over Adamas face.

!!!!!!!

drip

"You-!!" Adamas grunted while his anger started to sip in.

'Beelzebub' licked the blood he had drawn from Adamas with a sickeningly sadistic grin on his face. The demon's smile became more sinister with each passing second, "Delectable" he said.

Ah

Adamas anger turned calm when he saw Beelzebub drank his blood. Suddenly, Adamas walked closer to Beelzebub; the demon raised his hand in preparation to strike him, ready to pierce Adamas's heart and claim it for himself.

However, Adamas quickly and unexpectedly grabbed both of Beelzebub's hands, surprising the demon and stopping him from delivering the fatal blow.

"Huh?"   Beelzebub eyes widened .

"Epione,"  Adamas whispered. There was a strange tingly feeling stirring within Beelzebub's body and mind as he suddenly felt weak, and his knees gave way, making him fall to the ground. However, the demon's hands still tightly gripped Adamas's wrists, even as he fell to the ground with a soft thud.

"Next time, don't lick  god's  blood carelessly," Adamas said as he leaned backwards and headbutted Beelzebub's head with a lot of force.

BANG!!!

With a loud thud, the demon was knocked out cold on the floor, as Adamas took delighted by the fatal blow he had inflicted upon Beelzebub.

"Heh, that felt good," Adamas said to himself, smiling triumphly to himself as he looked down at the defeated crazy Beelzebub.

"What a troublesome  fellow  you have there with you," Adamas muttered as he crouched down in front of Beelzebub's unconscious body and wiped away the blood from his hands with Beelzebub's clothes.

The dark force surrounding Beelzebub began to dissipate, and Adamas knew that the demon was no longer under the control of the mysterious entity.

"Hmm," Adamas crouched back down again to poke Beelzebub's face, and he tilted his head slightly in curiosity. He wanted to make sure that Beelzebub was really unconscious and not merely faking it.

Adamas looked at Beelzebub's unconscious body, and he sighed.

"Hades, you better have a good reason to keep this demon alive. It took me a lot of willpower not to annihilate him at once," Adamas said out loud, sounding slightly annoyed.

Adamas felt tempted to destroy Beelzebub, but he resisted and showed a lot of restraint in the situation.

He hoped Hades had a good reason for keeping Beelzebub as his colleague.

.

.

.

.

"Does inciting mortals to do sin bore you?" Adamas asked himself, not expecting any kind of response from the fallen demon.

Adamas, who was still crouched down, tilted his head to the right side as he gently rested his head on his supported hand.

He said to no one in the room.

"Too bad you chose the wrong victim today,"

Adamas said with a dry smile.

"Satan"

A few hours later

Beelzebub slowly awoke from his slumber, staring at the ceiling, his head pounding. It was as if he had been hit by a truck-kun, and his body was slowly returning to reality. Grunting in pain. He raises his hand to press his head. Realizing that blood trickling on his right hand, his blood ran cold.

The Demon Destrudo

Beelzebub anxiously scanned his surroundings as he tried to make sense of the situation.

"Shit shit shit shit shit..what have I done?" he thought to himself, his head spinning with confusion and fear.

He looked around, searching for the person who he believed had fallen on his hand. But a chill ran down his body as he examined his surroundings more closely.

It's a mess

"N-no...no...no..." Beelzebub muttered softly.

The blood on his hand does not belongs to him but instead another person. That person that he currently catch-on feelings, it belong to-

"No...it can't be..." Beelzebub spoke softly to himself, his voice filled with fear and dread.

"Please, please, please... don't let anything happen to him," Beelzebub repeated, his voice filled with urgency and panic.

Beelzebub stood up abruptly, while holding his head in pain as he glanced maniacally in the room.

"ADAMAS!" Beelzebub called that name out loud, his voice filled with fear as he tried to find the particular Greek god in his lab. He desperately hoped nothing was wrong, but his eyes showed signs of despair.

But the remained or the body of the god is not in the room with him.

Tears started to prick the corner of his eyes as Beelzebub reached for the door, feeling overwhelmed by a wave of anxiety and dread.

"Please...please don't make me lose another one" Beelzebub begged.

The door slid open.

"Woah, you startled me." Adamas's voice could be heard when the door slid open. He is carrying a bucket of water and a towel in his hand.

"Man, you're white as a ghost. Go sit somewhere. I will bring a glass of water for you. Here clean your nasty ass up," Adamas said, holding out the items and offering them to Beelzebub.

Beelzebub took the items absentmindedly, his mind occupied with many thoughts and emotions. Adamas turned back to get a glass of water.

Beelzebub abruptly discarded the items Adamas gave, dropping them to the ground with a loud noise.

Scared that what was in front of him might be a dream, Beelzebub grabbed Adamas from behind and hugged him tightly as if unwilling to let go.

"Wh-what are you doing!? Unhand me in an instant, you emo-fucker!!!" Adamas responded with high pitch voiced. He tried to shake Beelzebub off, embarrassed by the sudden physical contact.

Beelzebub remained silent and tightly hugged Adamas from behind; Adamas felt tears slowly trickling down his shoulder. The tightness of the embrace caused Adamas to notice that this damn demo had a wide stature than him; wait, is that muscle under those clothes? As the god studied the demon's physique by touched, he realized that Beelzebub have a impressive body figure.

"I should've agreed to get body surgery", Adamas mumbled to himself, feeling weary and slightly uncomfortable with the physical contact.

Realizing that he would get stuck in Beelzebub's embrace for a bit longer, Adamas took a deep breath and finally decided to relax his body. Leaning back and letting his body melt into the Beelzebub's embrace.

With that opportunity, Beelzebub hugged Adamas more tightly while shifting his position and turning his back to the wall, slumping hard behind Adamas inside his arm and sliding down onto the cold floor.

They both sat on the floor; Beelzebub still maintained the embrace, his arms wrapped tightly around Adamas.

Adamas's willingly complied with the demon's movement as he adjusted his position to match Beelzebub's. Both of them remained silent and still, only occasionally interrupted by the sound of Beelzebub's mumbled apologies and self-blame. When Beelzebub's lips brushed against his neck, Adamas's breath hitched for a moment.

A small sigh escaped Adamas, and he extended his free hand towards Beelzebub. He slowly lifted the demon's head up, hoping to draw his attention.

"Hey...how long are you going to stay here?" Adamas asked softly, his voice tender and gentle as an attempt to console a child. Beelzebub still remained deep in his thoughts. Annoyed, Adamas began to wriggle out of Beelzebub's grasp.

Adamas succeeded in loosening the demon's grip and freeing himself from the demon's embrace. Beelzebub panicked, fearing that everything he had just experienced was simply a dream.

As Adamas was about to leave, Beelzebub quickly reached out and touched Adamas's chest, seemingly desperate to hold on to him again.

"Eeek!! WH-WHA! WATCH WHERE YOU WERE TOUCHING! YOU PERVERT," Adamas screamed.

Ignoring Adamas's accusation, Beelzebub put his ear against Adamas's back and began slowly searching for a heartbeat. He used his free hand to roam the front of Adamas's body, trying to find any indicators that Adamas was real and alive. So soft.

Thump Thump Thump

"His heartbeat, present," Beelzebub declared with relief.

With this reassurance, Beelzebub's body immediately calmed down after the stressful state. However, before he realized it, he got whacked hard on the head and hit the floor  hard , causing him to snap out of his trance. Upon hitting the hard floor, a crater was created with the damage caused by Beelzebub's hard fall.

WHACK!

"!!!"

Beelzebub rubbed his head in pain and looked up at the source of the pain. Adamas's cheeks were flushed with anger as he yelled, "YOU PERVERT DEMON!"

The demon's eyes widened in surprise; "Ah, you can make that expression too," Beelzebub nervously looked down in shamed and stuttered, "....sorry.."

Several days later, Beelzebub informed Hades that Adamas was ready to be released from the recovery. How did this come to this?

"I'm just wondering did you hide Adamas away from me?" Hades spoke at the end of the line with irritation. His Adamas's antenna is tingling.

"I already said that Adama-"

"HUH?! WHEN DID I ALLOWED YOU TO ADDRESS HIM BY HIS NAME?!" Hades's irritation grew.

"Tchh, I slipped." Beelzebub gritted his teeth.

The line went silent.

.

.

.

"I've had enough of you," Hades began calmly. "You have denied the king of the underworld the right to visit and also made no progress in the past whenever I called you."

"My patience is wearing thin," Hades said slowly, his voice growing colder with each word.  "Beelzebub,"  he finished, addressing the demon directly.

.

.

Hades had called Beelzebub multiple times and threatened to destroy his lab if he could not visit Adamas himself.

"Beel, I think you can tell my brother that I'm fine now", Adamas told him after he saw how stressed and distraught the demon had become.

Beelzebub looks at Adamas with a doubtful look. "I'm ready now," Adamas said confidently.

Hoping to avoid angering Hades any further, Beelzebub reluctantly agreed to Hades' request. He then informed Hades that Adamas had recovered and was now cleared to be released from his lab.

While waiting for the arrival of Hades, Adamas was sitting on the steel bed inside the very room where Beelzebub and Adamas first met. Adamas can feel a mix of anticipation and anxiety building up inside him as he awaits the arrival of the king of the underworld, and he is eager to return to his regular life as soon as possible.

To ease his nerves, Adamas attempted to start up small talk with the dejected-looking demon.

"I've been thinking for a while. You have some pretty shitty hobbies, don't ya?" Adamas asked, his tone filled with a mixture of amusement.

The words pierced Beelzebub's head and caused him to turn his face sharply towards Adamas, a look of shock on his face. After spending weeks together, this was the thing the god said to him.

Beelzebub magically holds his surgical equipment to do the body modification on the ex-god of conquest that he refused in the first chapter. His eyes twinkling dangerously.

"You're truly a genius," Adamas began again, his gaze still fixed on the floor as he continued his compliment towards Beelzebub. "Your creation was extraordinary and weird.. but I am glad Hades had someone as talented and reliable as you by his side."

"I'm happy that Hades decided to open up to someone else,"  Adamas's inner monologue continued.  "Ahhh, now I feel kinda envious towards Beel. He's a demon; of course, he can always meet with Hades...While me, I resided in heaven."

With a heavy sigh, Adamas's thoughts turned to feelings of envy and disappointment that he could not see Hades as often as Beelzebub did, despite being gods of different realms. Adamas thought about the distance between them and the fact that Hades had chosen Beelzebub over  him,  his own brother. Adamas ended his thought with a pouty face.

Beelzebub lowered the surgical equipment; he didn't expect to hear the god's kind words of praise. Adamas looked up towards Beelzebub, noticing the demon's comical attitude.

Adamas blinked rapidly in confusion;" What are you doing?" Beelzebub took notice of the confusion and immediately hid his equipment behind his back poorly.

"Nothing and Ah. Yes. There's nothing special; Hades is not an easy god to work with…. My creation is not something to exaggerate," Beelzebub replied hastily, still a bit flustered.

.

A comfortable silence fills the air.

.

"Adamas about the other day–"Beelzebub began before being cut off by Adamas's comment.

"I already forgive you~ No worries. Oh, and I won't tell Hades. Your secrets are safe with me," Adamas stated with a cheeky smile.

"It's not a secret; Hades know about my curse," Beelzebub said, ready to tell him the truth of his curse.

"Oh, you meant about Sat–" Realizing what the demon was about to say, the loud noise cut off their conversation.

A loud thud and the sound of the front door opening harshly revealed a tall figure with silver hair suddenly appeared and embraced Adamas's small, structured body.

"ADAMAS!!!" The silver-haired figure yelled as they enveloped Adamas's delicate form inside his warm and affectionate embrace. Adamas felt his face flush from embarrassment and surprise, his arms awkwardly hanging at his side as he stood still and let Hades embrace him.

"B-brother H-hades," Adamas said meekly, his voice muffled by the clothes.

Hades's hair has tussled wildly, and his eyes frantically scanned Adamas's body. He noticed the scar on Adamas's stomach skin. The colour of the scar was lighter than the rest of Adamas's skin, indicating that it was a scar made by Poseidon. Hades's eyes were filled with concern.

"What were you thinking, Adamas?" Hades softly scolded, looking down upon the god.

Adamas's eyes were cast down towards the ground, prepared to get scolded by Hades.

"You should have come to me first to start the coup d'etat," Hades declared, speaking about Adamas's plan.

"Why would you go to Poseidon? You know how grumpy he can be?" Hades added, emphasizing his disapproval of Adamas's reckless actions and choice of allies.

"Eh?" Adamas was baffled by the sudden offer.

"I can give you an army if you ask for it," Hades continued.

"Eh?" Adamas was bewildered.

"You know how much I missed you?" Hades asked, his tone becoming more emotional and vulnerable as he spoke.

"Eh?" Adamas exclaimed again, becoming lost in his thoughts about Hades's words and gestures.

Regaining his composure while still in Hades's embrace,

Adamas responded, "Bu-but Brother Hades, you know the battle will break the heaven."

"And? I know you won't hurt Zeus at all, right?" Hades retorted confidently.

A moment later, Adamas was caught red-handed and shyly lowered his head, his face turning bright red from blushing. He leaned his head on Hades's chest to hide his face.

"Idiot, brother"

"I love you too, my dearest."

.

.

Hades insisted Adamas get a last check-up before bringing Adamas back to the underworld.  To get married

"All done, now please leave my lab now," Beelzebub said; it seemed like the demon returned back to his old self.

Before they could leave, Hades insisted Adamas leave him with Beelzebub for a moment; Adamas just looked at his brother weirdly and complied.

"My dear, I wish to discuss something with Beelzebub. Will you please await me outside for a moment?"" Hades said softly.

"As you wish, brother", Adamas said and weirded out by the nickname. The god left the room and waited outside, giving Hades and Beelzebub the chance to talk to one another in private.

Two gods in the same room.

"If I remember correctly, I demanded the placement of reinforced armour upon Adamas's body, did I not?" Hades began the conversation.

"He refused the surgery. He claimed he could heal for himself." Beelzebub replied

Hades just sighed while facepalming, "I am aware of this, but do you comprehend the length of the time  that I had to locate him?" Hades pressed his voice.

"Adamas disappeared for years , and yet the wounds remained till the day I found him." Hades said, frowning, while remembering holding the fragile soul in the void.

"His injuries must have been severe, which is why I demanded good reinforcement upon his body," he continued, emphasizing the need for protection, even if Adamas did not wish  for it.

"I tried to comply with your order, Hades", He replied. "But Adamas pleaded to heal by himself; I don't want to argue much with him, so I let him be. Even though the process was painstakingly slow," Beelzebub defended himself.

Hades ignored Beelzebub when he called Adamas by his name and was more interested in other words.

"Slow?" Hades is now entirely focused on Beelzebub.

"Indeed, with that kind of wound, it should take aeons to heal, isn't it?" Beelzebub said.

"What purpose is the meaning behind your statement," Hades asked.

"The way I healed him is by waking him up; if I let him in a coma or sleep, I won't be able to intervene in his recovery." Beelzebub told the king underworld the cruel truth.

"Hades, I tried to re-attach him, but when I attempted so, his body started to crumble at a fast rate. Another method that I did was by placing both of his bodies together, you mentioned that he had a regenerative ability, so I did. Still, it was so slow and almost no progress, and his body started to crumble, but thanks to your device assistance, I managed to stabilize his soul back." Beelzebub said with a lengthy explanation.

"Adamas is broken, both body and soul. It's quite a miracle I could wake him up," Beelzebub ended.

"Odd," the god remarked. "Adamas's blood is what grants him his fast healing abilities, whether he is awake or asleep." Hades paused for a moment, deep in thought.

"If someone else had drunk it, their regenerative ability would have been recovered within minutes, not aeons," Hades added quietly, indicating that the time frame in which healing took place should have been much quicker and that there had been a significant delay in Adamas's own recovery. It's very odd.

~~~~~~~~~
"Do you think my blood is to overkill?" young Adamas asked while idling in Hades's room.
"It gives us a lot of advantages on the battlefield, Adamas, be proud", young Hades informed.
"But~~~ big bro can manipulate your blood with your will to create a cool weapon" Adamas laid down flat, sighing,
"And the price is heavy too, Adamas" Hades added.
and suddenly an idea came up to Adamas . He sprung back up.
Adamas exclaimed, "Oh, I know! How about my abilities will only stop if I-"
~~~~~~~~~

"Did Adamas give up his will to live" Hades muttered.

Hades quickly vanished the thought and thanked Beelzebub for the new discoveries.

"Very well, I shall give you the rewards accordingly," Hades said.

"Hades, if I may grant permission to constantly check up on Adamas to ease you up from any other complications", Beelzebub offered respectfully.

"Since when do you wish to be compassionate towards me, Beelzebub? Do not tell me that you expect me to allow you to woo with my Adamas ?"

"My Adamas?"  Beelzebub's sweat dropped, but he quickly regained his composure.

"I'm concerned about his mental and physical well-being, " Beelzebub continued.

Hades looked at Beelzebub, unamused and weirded out by his change of behaviour. "You're a notorious experimental demon", Hades said to him while flaying his hand around Beelzebub labs.

How could Hades trust him, but he does not have any better option other than this demon. Sighed heavily Hades complied.

"Granted, and I shall accompany Adamas when the time comes", Hades said after he did not have any other person he could entrust with his Adamas.

Hades walked out, leaving Beelzebub's lab hastily.

Beelzebub let out a sigh of relief, returning to his work after the pressure had been inflicted by the king of the underworld. Until he heard the door slid open again.

"Hades, I already said-" Beelzebub stopped mid-sentence when he saw Adamas stand by the door.

"I forgot to tell you something," Adamas says softly, causing Beelzebub to become silent.

"Thank you, Beelzebub," Adamas adds, smiling at the god with a softness that was out of character for the god of conquest.

While Hades was in the background, he kept a dangerous look on his face while witnessing the intimate conversation between Beelzebub and Adamas,

However, Beelzebub did not take Hades's scrutiny.

Adamas gave Beelzebub a small wave before walking away with his older brother.

After the interaction, Beelzebub slumped into his chair, holding his heart. He felt weird and surprised to receive such sincere gratitude from Adamas, a god he had previously thought to be proud and self-centred.

Nobody ever thanked him sincerely before.

Beelzebub covers his face.

What an interesting God.

ENDING

Rhea, the Mother of the Gods, had requested Hades's presence at her garden castle. Both had taken seats, and Hades was sipping on a drink as he looked up at Rhea, who began the conversation.

"Hades, how long has it been since my son has been gone?" Rhea asked calmly.

Hades sipped his drink gently, his gaze moving to Rhea; Hades never visited her on his own accord. Hades knew who she was talking about.

"Too long," Hades admitted to Rhea, his voice filled with grief. Hades had tried to find Adamas but had so far failed to find him. No remaining souls were discovered in the realm of living or dead.

Hades first brother, his precious companion…His Adamas.

"What if I told you I knew where my son was? What would you do?" Rhea asked solemnly.

Hades suddenly stood up, his movements loud and sudden, causing him to make a clattering noise. His presence became more ominous, and his aura darkened as he addressed Rhea, not in the mood for jokes.

"What are you talking about,  Mother ?" Hades asked intently, his stare locked onto Rhea, his voice harsh and his question demanding a response.

"Answer me," Rhea asked firmly.

"I'll never let go of him", Hades declared.

.

.

Rhea just looked straight at the King in Underworld eyes.

"This time, don't hurt him anymore."

I found you.

I finally found you.
