Chapter Text
Kojiro looked outside the small rectangular window apprehensively, hands on the concrete sill as he peered around the metals bars to try to get a better view, though he failed to do so since his ‘cell’ was lower than ground level, his ‘window’ being the same height as the path that everyone in the village walked on.
A gust of air left his nose as he huffed, frowning as he eyed the bars with silent fury, though he quickly gave in with a sigh as he flopped back onto the furry part of the floor, which he later realised to be the skin of a massive bear of sorts. He scratched his head as he wondered how to get out of this mess, resting his elbows on his naked knees as he glanced around his small temporary room. He had overheard the blonde scary guy say that he’d be transported to another place after they deemed him safe to move.
He pouted angrily as he remembered this. Him, dangerous? He was an old man for Christ's sake! Poseidon would have no trouble manhandling someone like him! He even proved this when they were in that massive room before, picking him up with just one arm and scaring the life out of him in the process. A small ‘tch’ left his mouth as he looked to his right at the makeshift bed, that being one of the two furnishings this room offered, the other being a small table in the corner. Maybe a nap could help him come up with some ideas.
A quiet rustle from the glasses window gained his attention, whipping his head to the sound with brows raised he found a small boy with markings on his face crouched down peeking through, curiosity in his eyes as he stared at him. Kojiro quickly scrambled up and lifted himself higher to greet him, smiling widely as he thought this could be his chance to escape.
“Hey! Hey kiddo!” Kojiro greeted ecstatically in a loud whisper, grinning widely to appear as friendly as he could so he wouldn't scare him away. “W-what’s your name?” He figured he’d try to converse with him to gain his trust, hoping that he was innocent enough to know that he wasn’t someone who needed to be kept locked up. He just stared at him blankly however, tilting his head at his question. Kojiro cursed internally though he kept up his friendly facade.
“Uh, y-you wanna help me get out?” He asked hopefully, gripping the bars tightly with a strained smile, wondering if he could understand what he was saying. A big smile came to the boy's face, before turning his head away and using one of his arms to grab something out of Kojiro's view. The scarred man's face lit up more as he realised that the kid could understand him, tensing himself even more to stay upright against the wall so he could keep talking to his soon to be hero. Did he have the key to the lock? A weapon? A note from his friends?!
The child turned back to him, smile still evident, as he reached his other small hand forward and handed Kojiro his prize. Kojiro reached his hand out for a split second before freezing, crestfallen at the realisation that he wasn't being handed any of these things, but instead an apple with a small wet flower stuck to it. He quickly hid this though, the dull smile that came to face was enough to fool the child into thinking he had helped, before looking up as his name was called.
“Hey Zero! Come on, we’re already late!” Kojiro couldn’t see who shouted since it was coming from behind him and the only thing on that side of the wall was a wooden door, though he figured it to be the child's relative or guardian with the way the kid instantly got up and picked something up before running away. With a dejected sigh Kojiro dropped back down to the floor, yellow, almost golden, apple in hand as he picked the wet flower from it and tossed it onto the desk. He rubbed the apple on his forearm, figuring that there’s no way a kid would try to poison him for no reason, and all this worrying was making him hungry. He took a huge bite out of the apple as he once more explained the walls of his prison, before looking back at the apple with raised brows. It tasted pretty good to be honest.
After a couple minutes he polished off the apple, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand as he looked for somewhere to put the core. He licked his lips before a thought occurred to him. Was the child even allowed to approach him? Would he get in trouble if someone found out he had? He snapped his head towards the as he heard keys jangle, his stomach dropping as he darted his eyes around the room for a place to hide his rubbish.
Thinking quickly he turned around and lifted himself back up, haphazardly flinging the core to the left. He'd had to remember to pick that back up, if they ever let him roam free.
He turned back around just in time for the wooden door to be thrown open, his 'kidnapper' striding forward with a stoic look as he ordered the person behind him with some menial tasks. It wasn't until Poseidon looked forward towards Kojiro did his expression change, lifting his lip up in irritation at finding the man still in some clothing after being ordered to strip.
His eyes darted to the makeshift table on his left, spotting the damp flower that laid there which he was certain wasn't there before. He looked back at the scarred man unimpressed, frowning deeply as Kojiro couldn't help but look away from his intense gaze, nervously fidgeting his hands as he mentally and physically prepared himself. He couldn't let his guard down, especially with this guy.
“Are you deaf, worm?” Poseidon growled out, stepping over to Kojiro with slow, calculated steps, his trident's spears shining proudly that dared Kojiro to speak out if he dared to. “You were ordered to strip” Poseidon didn’t show it but it pleased him greatly when the tanned man struggled to meet his eyes, his pose showing that he was cowering in front of him, as he should, too frightened to fight back. Everytime the man would look away, he'd quickly scan his body with shameless eyes, dragging them over every scar that he could see with lowered lids, before snapping them back to meet the strangers.
He was already dominating the man, and he was loving every second of it.
“Uncle!” A chipper voice rang out in a sing-song tone behind Poseidon in the doorway, Poseidon's moods instantly soured as he realised his playtime with his new favourite toy was to be cut short because of his dumbass nephew. Kojiro could even tell that Poseidon's mood had changed, the blonde's body instantly relaxing with an almost deadpanned look showing as he turned around completely to face the doorway.
Lord give him strength.
Apollo appeared with a cheerful; expression, dressed similarly in robes around his waist, though he wore sandals with shin guards and a cage-like apparatus around his chest. Kojiro eyed the claw-like gloves on his hands, wondering if that was for him, hoping to god they weren't considering torturing him. It seems that fate was on his side however, when the blonde blocked the pink haired man from entering, a strong arm used to deny access to his nephew as the younger of the two peeked under the arm, huffing when Poseidon blocked his eyeline with his body.
“Uncle Poseidon! Hermes told me you've captured intruders on the island!” Apollo exclaimed, excited at the chance of finally seeing some action. There wasn't really much going on around their area, not unless he snuck away to another part of the island. Apollo pointed a clawed finger to the room behind him as he tried once more to peek inside “Is that one of them?”.
Poseidon really did not want to deal with his nephew at this moment in time, the optimistic attitude of the brat would surely sully his reputation in front of the captured man, so he thought quickly of way to rid him, positioning his trident in his left hand and leaning against the doorway with his right.
“It is” He answered, using his free hand to give small motions to his ploy in an effort to distract Apollo enough so he wouldn't peek inside. “Though I had managed to capture them all, I did not have time to acquire their belongings” Apollo waited for his uncle to continue, unsure of why he was telling him of this in the first place. He really did just want to be nosy and see what the intruders were like.
“Oh, kaaay?”
Poseidon put a hand to his chin as he feigned a look of curiosity, looking to the side as he carried on with the charade.
“I believe one of them were, screaming, about their possessions. Something about,” Apollos eyes drifted away as he started losing interest in the conversation “trinkets? Jewels perhaps?” As expected, Apollo snapped his attention back to Poseidon with his mouth agape. Jewels?! “After i dealt with this one, I was going to make my way back to retrieve them, but now I’m not too sure how long this wil-”
“I’ll secure them uncle!” Apollo declared, determination on his face as he grinned at the thought of exotic jewellery from another place. “Don’t you worry about a thing, I’ll make sure I get every bit of it!” He started walking away while facing Poseidon, finger stuck out towards him as he asked his final question on the topic. “North east of the island, right?. The coast near where Ares got bit by the sharks?” Poseidon nodded his head at this, figuring that Hermes must have told him the details already, and with that Apollo was sprinting away, presumably to gain some guards for the trip.
An annoyed huff left his mouth as he got up from his position off leaning on the doorway and shut the door, facing the scarred man once more, only to find him looking at him with the small of smirks on his face, the man's eyes holding a teasing sense to them as he realised he had lied to his nephew. Poseidon didn't like the fact that he was no longer cowering before him, though that small smirk definitely did something to him.
With an irritated growl he advanced towards his prey, determined to wipe it from his face.
WITH APOLLO
The salmon pink haired warrior sauntered to the edge of the forest, sandy beach in sight as he manoeuvred through the already cut down vegetation in front of him to his destination. There was no need to be on edge around this area, his uncle had already disposed of any necessary threats that had wandered here. Now he was here to reap the rewards.
And what a reward he had found.
His golden eyes widened as he spotted what he thought to be a hunk of an adonis approach the island, a old but muscular, riveting, man walking to the shore through the water, his taut black t-shirt becoming very wet through the process, leaving nothing to the perverted islanders imagination as he saw the muscles outline proudly display itself through it. His grey hair was tied into a short ponytail, black at the sides as his beard seemed to spray out everywhere, though his eyes stuck to his massive biceps that would rival his brother's Heracles.
His mouth parted as he slowed to a halt, mesmerised by the trickles of water that danced down the bulging mass, veins protruding from one of them, the side that was easily dragging his boat closer to the shore with little to no effort, the man focused on watching where he was going. Apollo's eyes scanned the amount of scars that littered his arms, then to the one on his face.
He felt himself heat up as more scandalous thoughts came to mind, urging himself to move as he pursed his lips, a small smile appearing as he quickened his pace, only to once more slow down as he reached the beach and was out of the treeline, now swaying his hips with a seductive look gracing his features.
Looks like he found his jewel.
Leonidas turned his attention to the new arrival on the beach, a focused look on his face as he continued trekking through the last of the water, glancing back at his boat as grunted while lugging it onto the sand, though still keeping his guard up at the strawberry blonde man who still walked up to him.
He was, unfortunately, a late comer to the journey everyone had set out on, having gone through a messy break up with his ex, Higgins, and choosing to at first mope around his apartment instead of adventuring with his old friend Kojiro and co. He soon got tired of feeling sorry for himself, however, and decided to meet up with the rest of them. Tesla had left a small machine that showed a blip on the rader, explaining that it belonged to a tracking device on the ship should he change his mind about not going.
Which led him here, apparently, with no ship in sight.
He raised a brow at the man who walked closer to him, clenching his jaw as he realised he indeed did have weapons on him in the shape of clawed gloves on his hands. Though he didn’t seem in any position to attack, with the way he walked over and the smile he was giving him. Leonidas decided to keep his guard up however. Something didn’t feel right to him.
Apollo stopped a few steps away with an innocent smile, head tilted to the side slightly as he continued eyeing up the man like a piece of meat. He couldn’t wait to get laid by this one. From one look at the man, you could tell he was defensive, not so easy going and kept his shields up from the start. Apollo respected that. It’ll just make it all the more fun when he melted those shields away tonight in his residence.
“Hey, where the hell am I?” Apollo didn’t show his shock when the man spoke crudely towards him, no greetings, nervousness or blushing when he spoke. It came out deep, rugged, so strong that he felt his knees almost tremble. Well, time to get to business.
“You’re on Ragnarok island” Apollo spoke, crossing his arms and sticking out his hip as his smile grew. Seems he wasn’t with the Norse clan if he was asking where he was. He wasn’t a fan of his ugly way of speaking, but with a body like that he suppose he’d have to forgive him. Leonidas scrunched up his nose.
“Where the fuck is that?” Apollo’s lip twitched, clenching his jaw as he heard another vile swear leave his preys lips. He was going to have to be better trained than that.
“What brings you out here?” Apollo asked, ignoring the man's questions as he eyed the boat behind him. It didn’t seem like he brought a lot with him, a few bags and some containers, the biggest surprise being that he made it through the ocean and waves with such a small boat.
Leonidas noticed the man dodge his question, not that it was a big deal. Plus, he realised the man would probably be a cautious of a man entering the island, deducing that he was most likely a native inhabiting the island.
“Looking for ma friends” he replied, finally releasing his hand from the boat when he was satisfied with how far away he was from the sealine. Apollo hid the almost wicked smile that came to face. There were one of few ways he could play this.
Of course he would choose the most devious one.
WITH JACK AND QIN
Jack walked behind the large ginger man and in front of his fellow kidnappee, the not so smaller man grumbling lowly under his breath, which Jack had preferred and was glad that the Chinese man had somewhat quieted down after being told to do so. The two of them were tied by a chain of vines again, though there were no menacing guards with them, Heracles giving them his word that they wouldn't escape and the guards trusting him (since he was so vastly stronger than all of them combined)
His eyes had wandered to in front of him, Heracles' large muscular back somehow giving him a sense of security and comfort as they walked through a more remote part of the village, on the outskirts, away from the curious, frightened, agitated, villagers that inhabited it. He was aware that their presence had upset some of them, though he had saw some with looks of intrigue on some also, so maybe all was not lost in their hopes of escaping this place.
A terrible thought came to mind.
Escaping.
How would they get home? His ship had, unfortunately, met its ugly end in the waters, not exactly as he had imagined it to. He had no way of contacting his fellow boatmans for help, and with the way these people treated them and their current tools available, doubted they could give them a boat to set sail away in.
At this point in time, it was the most likely scenario that he would wallow in acceptance that they would never leave this place and be prisoners forever to these people.
The only hope he had, was that the other three that weren’t currently captured with them, would somehow save them all, or save themselves
