“Oi, Watch what you’re doing or we will lose, you’re fucking it up right now ness, I know you’re not useless so get it together,” Kaiser spoke sharply yet his voice quiet, holding ness by the hair and pulling him to speak to his ear, not wanting the translators of others to pick anything up. The grip on Ness’s hair loosened but the feel of kaiser’s eyes burnt into his skin, yet it didn’t necessarily hurt. Ness wanted Kaiser to keep watching him, observing his every move, god he loved the attention so much.
“Yes kaiser, I won’t let you down again, just watch over me as I play,” Ness realised a smile had crawled onto his face, as well as the feeling of warmth on his cheeks, eyes lit up as if he had wished upon a star. Although he didn’t expect anything from the star, so to hear him speak back once more startled him.
“I always watch over you Ness,” Kaiser spoke with his back turned yet for the first time, Ness could recognise that these words were genuine. Kaiser actually cared, maybe his constant expectations were there because kaiser knew what Ness was really capable of, Kaiser just wanted the best for Ness, and the best for the pair in order to win like they usually do. Ness didn’t respond to this and instead ran back onside, full of energy, glimpsing at kaiser to see if he was watching, to that he was.
