Chapter 25: Epilogue

Notes:

So, this is the end! 😭😭😭When I was editing this one, I got emotional, 🥹so I had a slight delay. But you can't blame me; it's the first fic that I've written. I had the brilliant idea not only to write my first fic in English but also in an almost non-existent fandom ship and make it into three parts.🤭🤭

Since this is the last part of this story, I want to take the opportunity to thanks everyone who drop by to read my work, thanks for that and special thanks to:

Chapter Text

One week later…

Joyce and Hopper had decided to postpone their honeymoon after Will and Steve's departure. The oldest's car was parked in front of Hopper's residence, the trunk stuffed with all their belongings, and a small U-Haul trailer filled with things they didn't even know they had. It had been enough to fill a four-foot trailer.

Will knew it was their moms' doing. They had been, in no better words, harassing them to take stuff to Boston, with a little input from Nancy, who had informed them about items she thought the studio needed. Because of this, their last week in Hawkins had been spent visiting second-hand stores in Gas City and Richmond to buy some furniture. Now, Will could only cross his fingers that everything would fit in the studio.

Steve was confident, but Will wasn't, especially after witnessing Steve's moms ordering Mike and Eddie to try and fit an ottoman in the trailer.

The youngest sighed, looking around at the familiar surroundings of Hawkins with a tinge of nostalgia as they prepared to leave. They had already bid farewell to Becca, Dustin, Matt, Max, and Lucas, their departures staggered by differing schedules. Their friends were now scattered across college campuses, leaving an empty space in the group that had once been inseparable but had promised to remain the same.

The porch of Will's house had transformed into a gathering place. Mike and Jane, Joyce, Hopper, Sharon, Theresa, Eddie, Nickie, and Lori exchanged their goodbyes with the couple. Will's mom stood near Steve's car, blinking away tears as she clung to the last moments with her son.

Sharon was equally emotional and thankful that her son had allowed her to witness this, along with Theresa, who shared the same sentiment. "You can always call us, mijo, and I added some recipes for soups in your bag in case either of you catches the flu," she said.

"And I gave William a list of places and neighborhoods you should avoid, and also added a couple of contacts in case you need a plumber or a mechanic. Be careful; big cities mean scammers," said Sharon with a worried expression.

"Okay," he replied.

"But you can always call Larry; he can guide you over the phone if you need to fix something," Theresa added, and Sharon nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, much better just forget about the list and call him instead."

"Mom… moms," Steve looked at Sharon and then at Theresa. "I'll be fine… for real," he said, laughing, but embraced both of them.

Will, finally free from his mom's grip, hugged Hopper. "You take care of each other, alright?" Will nodded. "I'm going to miss you so much, kiddo."

"Me too, Dad," he replied. Hopper kissed Will on the forehead. Will then went to hug his sister, who was on the verge of tears. "Jane…"

"I know," she said, sobbing and hugging her brother. "I said I wouldn't cry; I'm sorry," she said, more tears falling down.

"It's okay. I'm going to miss you too, but you are going to do big things at that center, okay? And you will call me, alright?" He said, and she nodded. It was Mike's turn. "Aren't you going to hug me, you asshole?"

Mike complied. "You aren't going to replace me, right?"

"Never, you're my best friend, dude," replied Will, hugging him tightly.

"Don't worry, Wheeler. I'll kick out anyone who has any best friend intentions with him," he said, bumping fists with Mike.

"See, I told you, Steve has a soft spot for you," joked Jane, who was hugging the oldest boy. Everyone laughed at that.

"Kiddo, you know you can always call if you need something. Be careful out there," said the sheriff to Steve and gave him a big hug as well.

Joyce took her time to hug Steve. "Just be safe, okay? And be happy and call us," she pleaded.

"Okay, this is it," said an excited Will as he patted the trailer. The couple waved to their family one more time and climbed into the car. The engine roared to life, and they pulled away from the curb, leaving behind a chapter of their lives that was now etched into the fabric of their being.

After fourteen hours and four gas stops, they finally pulled up in front of the brick building. Steve was exhausted. He hadn't expected it to take so much time, even with Will helping to drive; it was tiring.

They parked in their designated spot and expressed gratitude for the old but functional elevator. Carrying a backpack with essentials for their first night, Steve searched for the keys and opened the door. However, before Will could step inside, Steve stopped him.

"What?" Will frowned, and Steve smirked.

"We're doing this the right way," he said, lifting Will over the threshold.

Will grinned. "I thought this was for newlyweds..." but didn't complain, locking his hand on his boyfriend's neck.

Steve kissed Will without breaking the hold. "I'm young now, and without any back problems," he grinned. "...and this is our first home. It's the perfect opportunity, baby." He closed the door with his foot and, after sharing a few more kisses, gently put Will down to show him around. "So it needs some work, and it's small," the oldest started.

"It's perfect for us," said Will. "Show me around, would you?" Steve nodded. "Well, obviously, this is the kitchen," he motioned to the small kitchen area. The floor was a soft beige linoleum, and the walls were adorned with green apple wallpaper. The space was completed with full beige cabinets, a rounded-top refrigerator, and knob-adorned ranges.

There was a well-maintained countertop. "Definitely, Nance was right about the stool chair," said Steve, gesturing to the space where the furniture would go. They needed to save space.

"I can definitely see myself there, watching you cook," Will nudged his boyfriend.

"Oh, do you? So you won't cook?" the oldest teased.

"I'll wash, and I'll be your assistant, but I got my mom's kitchen skills," Will replied.

Steve nudged his boyfriend. "We can change that," Will nodded. The oldest led Will to the open area with beige carpeted floors and beige-painted walls. Will made a face, and Steve smiled. "I asked, and we can paint. This would be our living room, I guess. We can put our bookshelves here, our movies, and your games," Steve motioned.

"Sounds good," the youngest replied. Steve took Will to the bathroom, which was tiny but seemed nice. He definitely needed to clean up before even thinking of using it. "So a bathtub?" Will raised an eyebrow, and Steve kissed his boyfriend.

"I know; we can totally fit in there."

"And if not, we'll make it work," Will conceded. The next space was a small room that could serve as a guest room.

"I was thinking of setting up the desks here, and maybe you can use it as a makeshift studio, and perhaps a small mattress," he paused to show Will the small closet. "We know that as soon as Wheeler has free time, he'll be here, bothering us." Will laughed at that, and he had no doubt about it.

"And our room?" Will asked. The oldest nodded and led his boyfriend to the last room, which was big enough to fit a double bed, the nightstand they had brought with them, and even the drawers. Will frowned at his boyfriend as he observed the bed that was already there.

"Surprise, I knew this would be the most important thing," he then smirked. "I made Jon take me to the store to buy this." Will rolled his eyes, knowing Steve's intentions for involving his brother. "Well, Nancy was there too, and she was amused."

Will wanted to say something about Steve messing up with Jon, but instead, he yawned. "Do you want to call it a night? I think we can figure out the rest tomorrow, right?"

"Of course we can," Steve went to the closet, pulled off the sheet for the bed, and grabbed some stuff for the night. After visiting the bathroom, they were asleep as soon as they hit the mattress.

The sunshine rays slipped through the naked window as Will slowly came to his senses. His hand wandered the bed but found the spot cold and without Steve. He frowned and reached for his watch on the floor, noticing it was past 9. He sat up, rubbed his eyes, and palmed his cheek to wake himself up.

Standing up, he was about to head to the living room in his boxers when he heard other voices. Quickly, he returned to his room to change into a t-shirt and some pants.

Will walked down to the living room and found his boyfriend eating and laughing with Jon and Nancy. Steve was the first to notice him. "Morning, baby. Jon and Nancy brought breakfast," he greeted, waving a covered cream bagel.

Jon rolled his eyes but went to hug his brother. "It's only bagels and coffee," he replied.

"Dude, it's warm, and I didn't have to go out to find this. This is breakfast," Steve grinned, munching his bagel.

Will smiled. "Thanks, sorry for, you know," he motioned to his appearance. "I just woke up." He turned to the girl. "Hey, Nancy," he smiled.

"Hi, Will," she waved. He looked at where she was sitting on a barstool and frowned because that definitely wasn't there when he went to sleep.

"How?" He asked, sipping his coffee.

"Your welcome," said Jon. "We came 20 minutes ago, and Steve and I brought a couple of things."

"Which didn't make any difference, you brought a lot of things," commented the girl.

Will huffed. "That's your fault. You snitched to our moms."

Nancy raised her hand defensively. "Hey! You cannot say no to Theresa; she is persuasive," added the girl.

Jon cleared his throat. "But she's right, buddy. I don't think all of that would fit here."

"We didn't bring that many things, Byers," pointed out Steve, munching his second bagel.

"Whatever you say, man," then Jonathan rubbed his hands together and stood up. "Well, little brother, eat up; we need to move furniture," Jon stated.

"Really?" Will asked incredulously.

"Yeah, that's why we're here," Jon replied, and the boy nodded excitedly. The fact that his brother was willing to help them, even though he wasn't thrilled about Will choosing to live with Steve, made him happy. "Well, hurry up; there's a lot of things," added Jon.

Twenty minutes later, Steve and Jon were moving the heavy bookshelf, while Will brought in the coffee table. Steve turned to see Nancy as they walked in the hallway.

"Nancy, I love you, but if you let my nana's record play hit the floor, I'll kill you..." said Steve.

"Oh, shut up!" replied Nancy, walking past Steve and Jonathan and placing the object in the living room before going for a couple of lamps she saw at the back of the trailer.

As Jon was moving a small desk, he called to his brother, "Can you use your powers to move some stuff?"

"Sure, if you want people to see a can levitating," Will replied. Jonathan conceded. A couple of hours later, all the stuff was in the studio, and at least ten boxes were crowding the living room.

"I think we should split up to free up this area," said Nancy, her hand on her hips. "I think I can do the living room and sort your books and all this stuff," she said, motioning to the movies and miscellaneous items the couple had.

"Cool, Jon, can you handle maybe the bathroom and put away the stuff in the guest room?" suggested Will, and Jon nodded. "Steve obviously will sort out the kitchen..." his boyfriend smirked. "I'll be doing our room..." Everyone agreed and went to work on their tasks.

Nancy immediately regretted her decision to do the living room. Jeez, Steve had a lot of medicine books, and why the hell were those binders with Will's drawings so heavy? Thankfully, Will had told her he would take charge of his art supplies because that stuff seemed too messy.

Steve was trying to fit their coffee maker beside the toaster and the blender that his mother insisted he take with him. He scratched his head; they probably would need to build some kind of extra space under the cabinet to make more room.

"Steve!" Jon called out. The boy immediately headed to the bathroom, where he found the eldest Byers glaring at two bottles of conditioner. "Why do you have two of these? Aren't they the same thing?"

Steve rolled his eyes. "One is regular, and the other is a deep conditioner. You need to educate yourself more," he said.

"I just use the 2-in-1," Jon replied, searching for more items in the box.

Steve smiled. "You don't have to tell me; I know." His smile disappeared as he noticed a familiar box. "Give me that!" he said, tugging at the box, but Jon resisted, causing the contents to spill onto the floor.

Steve whimpered, gazing at the two almost empty tubes of lube and at least two dozen off condoms scattered on the bathroom floor. "This should be some form of punishment. Is this a test from the heavens?" Jonathan looked at the ceiling.

"Don't be dramatic," huffed Steve, and Jon glared at him.

"Why the screams…? Oh, crap," said Nancy, giggling, as she noticed the mess on the floor, behind her was a flushed Will.

"Steve!" Will motioned to his boyfriend.

"It's not my fault; this is on you. I told you to pack those in the bedroom box," Steve defended himself. Will pressed his palm to his face, and Nancy turned away, still laughing.

Jonathan pressed his forehead against the wall, muttering, "Why me?" without stopping.

"Oh, come on, dude. You have sex, I have sex, actually we have sex ," he motioned to Will. "We have fantastic sex, by the way. Get over it," he added before being pinched by Will, who picked all the items on the floor and headed to his room.

"You do this to torture me, like with the bed," accused Jon.

Steve rolled his eyes. "I'm not, but seriously, I got he is your little brother, but he's not actually that little..." he said, smirking.

"Steve, go before I strangle you," said Jonathan. Steve complied, and three more hours later, they finished almost everything and were ready to find something for lunch. Steve proposed eating out, but Nancy declined the offer.

"What if Jon and I pick up some food, and you and Will do some grocery shopping... and maybe grab some curtains?" Nancy suggested. Steve was about to insist that all four of them should get food, but Will thought otherwise.

"You have the best ideas, Nancy. Come on, love, you drive," he said, tugging at his boyfriend's arm. Steve frowned but didn't say anything. When they were close to the grocery store, Steve remembered that Jon and Nancy didn't have a key.

"I gave them one, no worries. I'll get that back," Steve nodded. He pulled into a Pantry Pride, and they grabbed a cart. First, they went to the linens aisle and bought curtains for their living room, bedroom, and bathroom. They also took the opportunity to pick up some towels. After that, they went to buy groceries. Steve was very particular about what he bought, always analyzing the nutrition labels, and he glared at Will when he suggested buying noodles.

Will huffed and contented himself with pushing the almost full cart. "I can't believe you still think mixing All-Bran and Honey Smacks is healthy," Steve teased, looking at the cereal his boyfriend had tossed in the cart.

"Shut up, and let me live my fantasy," Will stuck out his tongue at his boyfriend.

"Hey, pick up some candy for movie nights. I think I saw saffron in that aisle," and before Will could ask what saffron was, Steve was gone.

Will shook his head and went to pick out some sweets. He found licorice for Steve and some sour candy for himself. He was so absorbed that he didn't realize he had bumped into another guy's car. "Sorry, I wasn't looking," he apologized.

The guy smiled at him. "It's fine, it's not like it was a bad thing." Will frowned; this guy was flirting?

"Okay..." he said slowly.

"Nice pin," the guy motioned to the rainbow pin that Jane had given him for his leather jacket. It was beside a happy face pin and a rose that Max and Becca had given him. "Yeah, it was my sister's gift."

"Nice of her," the guy abandoned his car and took a step forward. "So good looks run in the family, or is it only a thing with you," he said, smiling.

Yes, he was flirting.

And before Will could reply that actually Jane was his adoptive sister, Steve came back with a small basket. "Am I interrupting something?" said Steve, putting down the basket he was carrying.

"You are," the guy said to Steve.

"Oh, really?" Steve replied, crossing his arms. Yeah, he was jealous, Will noticed that, by the way, his arms and chest were pushing out. Steve looked incredibly hot.

Will looked at the other guy. Yes, he was good-looking, but who could actually pay attention to anyone with a boyfriend like he had? He ignored the guy and looked at his boyfriend. "Love, did you find the saffran?" asked Will, caressing his boyfriend's cheek. Steve immediately melted at the contact.

"Lo..ve?" the guy stuttered.

"Yes... love," replied Steve to the guy and then turned to Will. "And it's saffron, baby," Steve said.

Will snorted, then looked at the guy. "Look, I don't know if you were flirting with me or not, but if you were, you're wasting your time here." He took Steve's basket and placed it on the flip-up. "If you'll excuse me, my boyfriend and I need to pay for this... love?" He asked and dragged Steve.

Steve glared at the stunned guy and followed Will. "I'm sorry," said Steve, walking to the small queue.

Will frowned. "For what?"

"For acting like a jealous idiot. I didn't want to look like I was marking territory, but..." Steve scratched his head.

"You kind of were," Will laughed. Steve nodded. "It's okay, you weren't rude or anything, and I know you trust me, as I trust you," said Will, then added more quietly, "And you know that I love it when you get jealous."

Steve nudged his boyfriend. "We have to wait until Nancy and Jon leave the house so you can show me how much you like it." Will smiled. They paid for the groceries and went directly to the apartment.

They entered the apartment, and Jon received him, helping with the grocery bags. Steve frowned because Nancy wasn't in sight. He shrugged and went to hang up his jacket when he noticed a leash on the rack.

Steve walked to the living room and saw a small dog bed. He turned to see his boyfriend, and Will smiled widely. "You can come out, Nancy," he called out.

Nancy emerged from the hallway, holding a small puppy with a purple bow on its collar. Steve gasped and turned to look at Will.

"For real?" Will nodded.

Nancy smiled. "Steve, meet Daisy," she said, offering the dog to Steve to hold. He nodded, and the small dog looked at him with her brilliant eyes. "She's a five-month-old puppy. Her mom was rescued, and this baby needed a home," Nancy explained.

"Will?" Steve asked his boyfriend, cradling the furry pup.

"I spoke with Jon after my mom's wedding, and he told me a friend of his worked in a shelter, and the rest, well, is history," Will informed.

"You need to actually go, maybe this week, to fill out some paperwork as the owner, but my friend pulled some strings to give you a surprise," Jon explained.

"Hi, Daisy," Steve greeted his new dog. He had always wanted a dog since he was a little kid. His parents had always prohibited him, and while he enjoyed his time with Benito, he had to leave him with Theresa. But Daisy would be his own dog, well, Will's too. "Thanks," he repeated. "I really... just thanks." Jonathan nodded and had Will and Steve pose together with Daisy to get a picture.

Nancy, always smart, explained the items they had bought at the pet store, and Steve was overwhelmed, but Will brushed off the worries, saying they would do more than fine.

After eating the food, and the four of them ending up playing with Daisy, Jon and Nancy left the apartment with the promise of coming the next day for the dinner that Steve had offered to cook.

Steve sat on the small sofa in the living room they had acquired, with Will right by his side, shoulder to shoulder. "So, what are the plans for tonight?" Steve asked, glancing at Daisy, who was already asleep in her bed. Her chest rose and fell, and she moved her paws from time to time.

Will nuzzled into his boyfriend's neck. "Well, I took the liberty of cleaning up the bathtub, and maybe we can see if we can both fit in there," Will said.

"That's so? Mmm like it…let's see..",he said, dragging his boyfriend to the bathroom, carefully to not wake Daisy. Will went to make sure that everything was closed as Steve started their bath, before starting to undress himself.

Steve was the first to enter the bathtub. Will gave a show to Steve, something that was greatly appreciated by the oldest, before sitting down between Steve's legs, it was a little space but they made it work. Steve started to drop a kiss on his boyfriend's back as his soaked hand started to wash Will's chest, caressing the skin there, dragging some moans from the youngest.

"Steve…"Will moaned, as he inclined his head back to the left to give his boyfriend access to his neck. As Steve gives a soft massage to Will's shoulder.

"I love the way you always moan my name, it's impossible just not to get hard hearing you…"Steve murmured, kissing Will's earlobe.

Will, instead of replying, took Steve's hand and guided his neglected member. That was hard. Steve grinned and complied, making the youngest whimper and, raising his hips, searching for more friction. "Fuck, Steve…"said Will under his boyfriend's touch.

"Yes exactly like that, keep saying my name baby…''Will shut his eyes closed as Steve kept stroking him, but the oldest stopped as he murmured a question in his boyfriend's ear. "Do you want to come like this?" He asked his boyfriend slowly before stopping again "Or…"

"Fucker,! Or what?" Will cried out. Steve chuckled.

"Or inside of me…"Will immediately turned to look at his boyfriend, who had a serious face.

"I almost came just with that…"Steve smiled, because he knew the answer.

"Why don't you get dry, and wait for me, while I do some preparation here…but try not to finish without me," the oldest said. Will rolled his eyes but followed his boyfriend's instructions. He got out of the bathtub, took a towel with him, and dried himself as much as he could. He searched for the lube and stopped and his dick throbbed with anticipation, he waited patiently for a couple of minutes before stroking himself. His boyfriend found him like that on "Starting without me…" Steve chuckled and feinted to get on the mattress.

Will stopped him and dropped to his knees, caressing his boyfriend's legs. "Knowing you, you already prepared yourself, so let me have some fun first.."he said, taking off Steve's towel, and engulfing his boyfriend's cock in his mouth.

Steve's knees almost gave up right there as he felt Wills' tongue caressing his member. "Fuck! Will," the oldest, places his hand on his boyfriend's head, gently pushing himself inside Will's mouth. "Baby, fuck!"

Will smiled around his boyfriend, as he focused on pleasing Steve as much as he could. He alternated between sucking his boyfriend and stroking him, as he also kissed Steve's groin and sucked his sack. "Do you want to continue or go for the main act?" Will asked, his lips with glistening spit.

Steve grinned and gently pushed Will on the bed before placing himself on top of Will and claiming the others lips and tasting himself on his boyfriend's mouth, and it was the most sensual thing ever "So, this how is this going to be?" Asked Steve, sucking his boyfriend's lips and rubbing himself on Will.

"Yes! Fuck, we said every day Steve…"Will started, sneaking a hand on Steve's entrance to confirm that he indeed was loose. The oldest hissed "Yesterday we were exhausted, but tonight…"he pressed a finger in and out. "Tonight we have tonight, fuck Steve I want to be inside of you…"Will pleaded between kisses.

Steve swallowed hard and went to lie on his right. Will positioned himself behind and started to enter the body of the most beautiful human being on earth. "That's it baby, that's it …"Steve pressed himself back until his boyfriend was fully inside.

"I love you like this…."murmured Will, as he slammed slowly on his boyfriend.

And it was true, this was his favorite position when he was the one making love to Steve. It gave him the opportunity to observe the back of his boyfriend's contract at every movement. He loved the way Steve's back pressed against his chest when they were trying to be more connected, as their lower parts weren't already in charge of that.

Will loved how warm Steve was, how pliant, he loved stroking his boyfriend, as Steve fucked his hand with the same impetus that he was being fucked. He loved that man so much that he sometimes couldn't believe he was allowed to do that, to love him, to kiss him, to hold him, to make love to him.

And that was their lives from now, and forever, they kept moving together, finding the perfect rhyme for them, filling the room with their moans "Oh fuck! Will right there…"Steve gasped.

Will, with a lot of effort, not wanting to finish before his boyfriend, took the task in hand and started to hit the spot that made Steve crazy. "Like that? Tell me Steve, fuck you feel so freaking good, you like it…?"

"Baby, yeah…."Steve's vision was blurring and driven away by passion. "Harder, c'mon almost there…"He said, pushing himself back. Will slammed as hard as he could and a few moments later Steve was coming, but he wanted the same for Will, he was sensitive but that didn't stop pushing Will inside of him as much as he could using his hand and gripping his boyfriend's ass, and he felt it.

"Fuck!" Will groaned, feet curling in pleasure as he released himself inside of Steve. They stood like that for a couple of seconds, taking back their breath, before Will slid out of his boyfriend and he accommodated himself on top of Steve's chest.

"How can sex just become better and better ? Huh?" Steve chuckled, taking a string of hair off of his boyfriend's sweaty forehead.

Will smiled and kissed his boyfriend's chest, humming contentedly. After they had caught their breath, Will reached for a damp cloth to clean them both before placing a blanket over their entwined, naked limbs. "Do you ever wonder if other versions of us exist?" Will asked.

Steve hummed in thought. "You mean, like in an alternative universe?" Will nodded. "Well, my boyfriend does have powers, and we did fight in an interdimensional battle, so I suppose it's not entirely impossible," Steve suggested.

Will continued, his thoughts drifting. "I just like to think that every version of me, if they exist, has their own love, and I hope it's a version of you in all of them," Will said.

Steve gazed lovingly at his boyfriend. "I'm pretty sure they do, and I'm certain that every version of me loves every version of you immensely."

Will playfully nudged Steve. "And how can you be so sure, huh?"

"It's so simple, Will. The love I have for you, William Byers, is so vast that this universe can't contain it. It probably spilled into every realm, dimension, or life where two versions of us might be lost but would eventually find each other," Steve explained.

"I love you, Steve, and I love our lives. I love having you," Will said. "Thanks for loving me."

Steve nuzzled his head against his boyfriend's, already feeling sleepy. "I love you too, Will, unconditionally, and I always will," Steve whispered before drifting into sleep. Will tightened his grip on his boyfriend, whispering a soft "love you too," with the certainty that he was exactly where he belonged.

In another life

I would be your love

We keep all our promises

Be us against the world

In another life

I would make you stay

So I don't have to say

You were the one that got away

Pstt....he chose to stay....

So did you like the end?🫣🫣🫣 I wanted to make this a little emotional, funny and corny. But also hoped that you got the idea of what would happen with this couple and if you are a fan of Katy Perry🪩 you probably catched the title for the next fic that it's in draft right now.

Have all of you a wonderful Sunday, and I guess it is a bye bye for now. 👋👋👋🥹🥹🥹

Steve's experience as the only nurse is based on real experience of one of my friends when he studied to be a nurse.
Now, Yes this would be the final year for everyone, please mindful I don't have freaking idea how school work on USA less on 1987, at least in my country you can graduate at 17.
