Chapter Text
The Dark Paladin. A being who combined the masterful skills of magic and blade wielding.
For all purposes, he was one of the strongest creatures in the Spirit Realm. Only the fierce Dragons could have any chance against him. And that's how he actually came to be.
A powerful dragon was terrorizing one of the kingdoms and to fight it, the strongest had been called to aid the inhabitants but only two answered the call: the Dark Magician, master of black magic, and the Buster Blader, the strongest dragon slayer.
The fight raged on for hours without any side backing off. Villages and forests were destroyed.
Blasts of black magic shook the ground, swings of the giant sword tore apart the earth, elemental breathes scorched the green.
The battle was fierce, the Dark Magician and the Buster Blader fought valiantly but they were exhausted. They needed to end this.
It's at this point that the magic wielder proposed a crazy solution to the warrior. His pride held him back for a few moments but his sense of duty prevaled and he agreed.
The Dark Magician then brandished his staff and cast a spell. Between them, a vortex appeared, a swirl of dark energy, sucking the two fighters inside it.
The mad dragon was surprised by this and, against his instincts, which were screaming to destroy the singularity or to run away, it waited.
In a matter of seconds, the vortex vanished progressively, leaving in its place an unknown creature.
The clothes were similar to the Dark Magician's but looked as strong as the Buster Blader's armor and its color had become a dark green, with the details colored in gold. Large green gems were imbued in it as well.
But the biggest change was the weapon: gone were the staff and the sword. Instead, the creature wielded a deadly looking one edged lance.
Sheer power flew from him as he stared at the dragon in front of him.
The creature, who will later be known as the Dark Paladin, raised his weapon high above his head. The deadly dragon took a defensive stance, ready to tank whatever was thrown at him and counter-attack!
However, it didn't have this chance. With a simple yet powerful swing, the new warrior launched a wave, mixing magic and air, that flew toward the dragon and cut it in half, on the whole length of its body.
The two parts slowly separated and fell on each side, the Dark Paladin staring at it with such confidence, it could have been arrogance or annoyance.
