“3…”

“2…”

“1…”

“Dra-” The waitress was cut off before she could finish saying draw.

“Wait! Everyone just wait!” Junko shouted, stopping the waitress's countdown and catching the attention of Sayaka, Mukuro, and Kyoko.

“Is there something you need to say, Junko?” Kyoko asked, a slight hint of annoyance in her tone.

“Hell yeah, I do!” Junko shouted, letting go of the straw she was holding onto and slamming her fist on the table, shocking everyone while also dragging the attention of nearby tables.

“Junko, I know I’m your sister but… We have to do this fairly, drawing straws is the only way.” Mukuro assumed she knew what her sister was thinking. Little did she know.

“I know, I know but just hear me out…” Junko said more calmly this time.

“We’re all ears, Junko,” Sayaka said somewhat hesitantly, truly not knowing what crazy idea sprang up in her mind. Not even the best psychic in the world could read Junko’s mind.

“Why don’t we… All go up to him together?” Junko suggested, she sounded insane, even to her sister. They all knew Junko was crazy, especially her sister, but even what she suggested was insane for her standards. The three stayed silent, not knowing how to respond.

“...”

“...”

“...”

“And then he can decide who he wants to date after we get to know him a little.” Junko quickly ‘corrected’ herself. She totally didn’t mean anything else.

“I guess that’s okay…” Mukuro hesitantly accepted, it was his choice after all, right?

“I do not see any reason why we should not.” Kyoko agreed as well. In her mind, it was better to try and win him over instead of putting all her cards on pure luck.

“I guess the competition continues… Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go!” Sayaka said explicitly, feeling the competitive heart inside her burn again.

“Don’t run! We’re supposed to go up to him together as a team!” Junko shouted without thinking, speed-walking to try and catch up with Sayaka, leaving Mukuro and Kyoko behind.

“Team…?” Mukuro realized what her sister said, her suspicion growing.

“I am getting a bad feeling about this,” Kyoko admitted to Mukuro once Junko and Sayaka were far enough ahead.

“Me too… But I feel something strange too.”

The four continue walking to the bar, leaving the poor waitress alone with a mess to clean up and her mind extremely annoyed… At least they left a tip…

“What the fuck… Why the hell am I still even working here… I should be moving on with my life.” The waitress had enough. She didn’t want to deal with those meddling college students anymore… If she could describe them in two words… It would be Ultimate Headaches.

Besides that one brown-haired guy, he was kind of cool.

Man… What should I eat for dinner? Makoto thought to himself, continuing to drink without a care in the world. It had already been 10 minutes since Leon left and he was starting to get bored. If only he had someone else to talk to… Maybe like a girlfriend.

Girlfriend… If only I had a girlfriend… How does someone like me even get one…? Makoto drowned himself in his own depressing thoughts until…

“Hello?” Makoto said upon looking up.

“Heyyy~!” A girl with strawberry pink hair tied into two twin pigtails, whom he swore he knew from somewhere came up to him. She had a Cheshire grin and seemed to have a fun personality.

“Good afternoon.” A girl with long silky lavender-tinted silver hair also came up to him, standing next to the pink-haired girl. Unlike the girl with strawberry pink hair, she maintained a serious stoic face.

“Hello!” A girl with blue long plain-looking black hair also approached him, standing next to the girl with lavender-tinted hair. She looked elegant and composed of herself, smiling a bright smile filled with charisma. But…

Is that a wig…? Makoto noticed a string of blue hair sticking out of her hair.

“H-Hi…” A girl with short black hair styled in a bob cut walked up, standing next to the girl with blue black hair. Out of the 4, she looked the most nervous, shyly avoiding eye contact and covering her mouth while her face clearly blushed.

“Is there something I can help you all with…?” Makoto said cautiously, his voice filled with skepticism, fearing it was a honey trap or something along those lines… He didn’t want to make the same mistake as Leon.

“Why don’t you start by introducing yourself, handsome~?” The girl with strawberry pink hair said in a very seductive tone.

H-Handsome…? It was the first time someone besides his mother called him handsome.

“W-Well, I-I’m Makoto Naegi…” Makoto introduced himself, stuttering from the embarrassment, and blushing. He tried to stay vigilant, still suspicious of the 4 strange women who approached him randomly.

“Oh, that’s a nice name! So you’re a college graduate too?” The girl with long black hair asked, getting closer to his face, making him blush even harder.

W-What!? Things were getting weirder.

“H-Huh!? How did you know?” Makoto asked in a somewhat scared tone. The one with pink hair chuckled at the sight.

“Because I’m psychic.” The girl with long black hair said with a serious face.

“S-Seriously!?” Makoto genuinely believed her, most likely due to her serious face and attitude.

“Nope, I’m kidding. It’s all intuition.” She said giggling, dropping the serious face and attitude as she did so.

“O-Okay…” Makoto said meekly.

They’re… Strange… Makoto thought about the current situation he was in, still somewhat fearing it was a honey trap or that they were trying to rob him… But they seemed like good people, so he tried to push those thoughts to the back of his mind.

“Do not worry.” The girl with long silky lavender-tinted silver hair said out of nowhere, snapping him out of his thoughts.

“Huh?”

“You think we are going to kidnap and rob you, no?” She said as if she had read his mind, making a chill run down his spine.

“H-How did you know!?” Makoto asked once again, now nervously sweating.

“Unlike my friend, who is a psychic… I am a detective, I can read you like an open book.” She answered with a stoic face, her words confusing him even more.

“O-Open b-book?” Makoto still didn’t understand her weird metaphor.

“Yes. Your facial expressions and movements say everything about you.” She said as she crossed her arms. Makoto wasn’t sure if she knew how creepy she sounded… But it was a cool skill?

T-That’s a little… Creepy…

“H-Hello…” The girl with short black hair styled in a bob cut said even more meekly than him, it seemed she didn’t want to be ignored.

“H-Hey…?” Makoto wasn’t sure what to say.

“...” She stayed quiet.

Is she a… Introvert…?

“Come on, sis! Stop acting so nervous! You’ll never get a boyfriend like that.” The girl with strawberry pink hair wrapped an arm around her supposed sister.

Sisters!? But they look nothing alike…

“S-So… Is there a reason why you’re all talking to me…?” Makoto asked, deciding to get straight to the point.

“That is simple.” The girl with lavender-tinted silver hair answered.

“...”

“We want to get to know you better!” The girl with long blue black hair elaborated, helping him understand.

“Huh?”

“I’m sure we can do more… We’re going to get really close and learn about each other a lot…” The girl with strawberry pink hair said as if he was their prey… To him, they really did look like predators…

Makoto remained silent, feeling an anxious yet hopeful feeling rise in his chest… Was this the love he was seeking?

“Ugghhhh… My head…” Makoto muttered quietly, blinking his eyes open to see the usual ceiling he woke up to every morning on his bed. His entire body was sore and his head hurt a little.

I must’ve drank too much last night… How did I even get home? Makoto started to question himself. Leon would usually carry him home if he had too much to drink, which was pretty uncommon… And considering Leon left before him… He turned his head to the left.

Wait… Why are my clothes on the ground!? AND WHY ARE THERE WOMEN’S CLOTHES ON THE GROUND!? Wait… AT LEAST FOUR SETS OF UNDERWEAR NOT COUNTING MINE!? And…  A lot of condoms… TOO MANY CONDOMS! Makoto started to panic, could it be finally happening? And four? How the hell did that happen?

He felt strangely happy and nervous at the same time, feeling something fly and bounce in his stomach.

Oh god… Makoto looked at the rest of his body… Four… The mass under the blanket looked to be at least four… But how couldn’t he feel them? He was never that strong. Could it be because he was sore…? Sore from what…? Makoto felt the fear lurking in the back of his mind.

Here goes nothing… Makoto grabbed the blanket and decided to peek under…

Four.

Four girls were on top of him. Four naked girls wrapped around him. Pink, blue, black, and lavender? But how? Why? When? Who even were they? Makoto couldn’t remember until…

It all came rushing back to him, their names, Sayaka, Mukuro, Kyoko, and Junko. Their time together at the bar, the way they drunkenly entered his apartment… Undressing… Kissing… And doing… The deed.

I… I did…? But this is… Makoto wasn’t sure how to feel, on one hand, one of his long-time goals was accomplished. And on the other hand, did he really? Was this just a one-time thing? Did he really find love and get a girlfriend…? Or girlfriends…?

He wasn’t sure… He had to wake them up…

“G-Good morning…?” Makoto said nervously, waiting for what seemed to be forever as the four girls on top of him slowly gathered themselves, waking up.

“Ugh… My head… Oh, we did it…” Junko said first, rubbing her eyes as she realized what happened last night. Her usually tied strawberry pink hair was untied, flowing on her back like a waterfall. She was lying on top of him, her soft… Things pressing against him.

“It seems we did… I did not expect this outcome.” Kyoko said after composing herself, looking up to see his face… The shining sunlight made her hair look even better.

She still has her gloves on…? Makoto noticed as she brushed her hair aside.

“I guess we all win…? It feels strange not crushing my competition like how I usually do.” Sayaka said as cheerfully as ever, not even the slightest concerned.

“C-Competition?” Makoto was confused as to why she would call her friends, competition. And competing for what…? For him…?

Wait… I’m in bed with a supermodel and idol… Makoto realized, shivering at the thought. A million questions ran in his head with zero answers. Why him? How did this happen? Were they okay with this? Was he robbed? No, that wouldn’t make sense, why would a detective, idol, and supermodel rob him?

“G-Good morning… I-I hope you slept well…” Mukuro said like a shy schoolgirl, trying her best to hide her blushing face with her hands as she looked him in the eyes.

To Makoto, she seemed the most ‘normal’ despite talking about her knife collection last night…

“I-I did… And you guys- I mean girls…? Did you all sleep okay…?” Makoto quickly corrected himself, he didn’t know how to refer to them, was guy a neutral term to refer to a group of people regardless of gender? Or did it just mean… Well, guy. Maybe he should’ve paid attention in literature class, maybe then he wouldn’t look like an idiot.

“You don’t have to be like that, haha. Calling us both should be fine… Also, you could’ve gotten a bigger bed.” Junko said. The bed wasn’t exactly big enough to fit 5 people, 3 at most.

“I slept well…” Mukuro answered simply.

“As did I… But I am a little sore, you did not have to do it so hard,” Kyoko said with her stoic straight face, making his face flare red.

“I-I’m sorry!” Makoto apologized embarrassingly, how could she be so… Blunt?

I shouldn’t drink like that anymore… Makoto remembered the copious amount of alcohol he drank and the way he acted afterward… Not even he knew he could be so assertive.

“It’s fine, I don’t know about the rest of you all but I liked it rough!” Sayaka said with a cheerful attitude, pumping both her fists up, shocking everyone. Was she really the top idol of Japan, Sayaka Maizono?

“P-Please don’t say it like that…” Makoto pleaded despite remembering clearly what happened.

“What? Is Koters embarrassed~?” Junko teased in a very childish tone, poking his right cheek repeatedly.

“I-I’m sorry, it was my first time…” Makoto admitted embarrassingly, looking away to avoid eye contact with the 4. He expected a laugh or two.

“Oh, me too, it was also my first time. You don’t have to feel so embarrassed about it, we aren’t going to make fun of you or anything.” Junko said as if she read his mind, causing him to look back at them.

Kyoko, Sayaka, and now you too!?

“It was my first time as well, that makes two,” Kyoko added.

“Make it three! Idols aren’t allowed to do those things, of course!” Sayaka excitedly said, confusing Makoto.

Then why did you do it with me…? Makoto wondered, he had no idea why the 4 of them would want to at all, he had no outstanding qualities at all, at least in his mind.

“It was also my first time… So that makes four…” Mukuro meekly commented.

“Wow, you took the virginity of 4 girls in one night, two sisters, a detective, and an idol... How are you feeling?” Junko said in a teasing and seductive tone, no doubt trying to garner a reaction from him.

“Y-You make me sound like a s-supervillain!” Makoto said in a defensive manner.

“Maybe because you are~” Sayaka joined in the teasing, poking his left cheek as Junko gently pulled his right.

I wanted to be the Red Power Ranger when I was a kid… Not supervillain…

“So um… Is it okay if I ask a question…?” Makoto asked like the nervous idiot that he is.

“You may, you do not need to ask for permission,” Kyoko said in a rather commanding voice.

“A-Are… O-Or… A-Am I dating all of you now…?” Makoto asked the million-dollar question. The question he’s been wanting to ask the entire time.

“A-Are you asking all of us out…? At the same time…?” Mukuro asked in response, her puppy ears screaming for him to say yes.

Cute.

“I- W-Well… I-I think I am…?” Makoto said hesitantly, it sounded weird once Mukuro said it. Asking 4 people out at the same time was definitely not normal.

“Do you not want to?” Sayaka said in a teasing tone.

“N-No! O-Of course, I do!” Makoto quickly clarified.

“Then I guess that’s settled, I agree to it,” Sayaka said with a satisfied look, nodding her head.

“H-Huh!?”

“I suppose this is an acceptable outcome…” Kyoko added, also giving a nod and letting herself smile.

What…

“I-I agree too!” Mukuro shouted without another beat as Kyoko finished.

Wait…

“Well, if everyone agrees then I agree too!” Junko said emphatically, throwing her arms up like she was cheering, giving him a full view of her chest, not that he was even paying attention with everything else that was going on.

How…

“So what do you say, Makoto Naegi?” Kyoko asked, using a gloved hand on his chin to make him look into her eyes.

What am I supposed to say!? He had to find the right words…

“I… I’d love to date all of you!” Makoto said with a newfound sense of confidence, feeling butterflies in his stomach as he said the magic words.

“I am glad to hear that,” Kyoko said as the other 3 sighed in relief, especially Junko, not believing her crazy idea worked.

“W-We should get cleaned up and go on a date…” Mukuro excitedly suggested, caught in the love in the air.

“Oh um… I only have one bathroom…” Makoto pointed out, his apartment wasn’t the smallest but wasn’t big either...

“Who said that was going to be a problem~?” Sayaka said seductively, letting out a warm breath into his right ear. It turned him on.

“Sharing is caring after all~” Kyoko said in a seductive tone as well, getting awfully close to his left cheek before pecking it with a small kiss.

“I’m ready for some extra bonding time~,” Junko said even more seductively, running her index finger across his chest.

“Please treat us well.” Mukuro held his left hand into her chest. Makoto could only describe it as cute.

What did I get myself into? Makoto thought to himself as his new girlfriends helped him up from the bed and dragged him into his bathroom, not bothering to cover themselves at all… Not that there was anything to hide that he hadn’t seen…

Besides what was under Kyoko’s gloves. But he was sure she was going to take them off in the shower…

It was 4:32 pm after school, Makoto never thought it would end up back in a place like this. He didn’t hate his time in high school but he didn’t enjoy it either.

Makoto was fast asleep on his keyboard in his office, being a principal of a high school was not easy. It had been 5 long years since he met them, Kyoko, Sayaka, Mukuro, and Junko… A lot has changed since then.

Kyoko had decided to mostly give up her detective career, mostly because she still takes on small cases to help the local police department. Instead, she became the vice principal of the same high school Makoto was working at, no doubt because of their ‘special’ relationship.

Sayaka had similarly also given up her idol career, deciding to become an art teacher at a local high school, for the exact same reason as Kyoko. But she does updates on social media from time to time… Not anything too private, of course, she still has millions of fans.

Junko dropped modeling and fashionista work entirely, deciding to become a homeroom teacher at the same high school that Makoto was working at to the shock of her millions of fans like Sayaka. Despite retiring 5 years ago, she still has a massive cult-like following. But that’s what happens when you suddenly quit at the height of your career.

Mukuro became a gym teacher at the same high school Makoto was working at after much convincing from her sister and a few others. She was skeptical at first but enjoyed it after a while, teaching fitness and training students until they collapsed and had to visit the nurse.

And, Makoto… Became a principal at his former high school… It was hard work but it was satisfying to know it was to help shape the next generation… And a few certain amazing colleagues made the job a whole lot easier.

“Mister principal…” Kyoko tried waking him up.

“Mister principal…” Kyoko tried again, moving closer to his face.

“Mister principal…” Kyoko said again, right next to his ear this time.

“My love~” Kyoko gave up and decided to try a different method, whispering gently and quietly into his ear, making sure no one else could hear them.

“Ah, Kyoko!” Makoto immediately woke up after hearing the affectionate nickname Kyoko usually called him.

“Did you enjoy your nap?” Kyoko in an obviously teasing and joking manner, briefly rubbing his cheek with her gloved hand to wake him up fully.

“I guess I didn’t get enough sleep last night, haha…” Makoto made an awkward laugh, rubbing the back of his head and giving a sheepish smile to her.

“Perhaps we shouldn’t have intercourse on school nights.” Kyoko continued her teasing, causing Makoto to remember last night and almost every night before.

“You know the others and you yourself wouldn’t like that…” Makoto replied, knowing it was true based on experience… He was not going to try again.

“Indeed, I would not. But health is always first, if you really do feel exhausted, you can tell us. We will understand.” Kyoko said in a more serious tone, making Makoto feel bad and a little happy at the same time.

“I know, I know… But it’s not like I don’t enjoy it or anything… And I want to make you all happy…” Makoto replied with a message straight from his heart, making her blush.

“Yooooo!” Junko screamed, bursting into the room with Sayaka and Mukuro behind her before Kyoko could say anything “What’s this about Koters making us all happy?” Junko asked in a flattered tone.

“N-Not so loud! There are still some faculty members and students here…” Makoto shushed her as she and the others who just came in walked over to his desk, standing next to Kyoko.

“Oh, yeah, whole secret relationship thing,” Junko said nonchalantly, acting like she didn’t know what she was doing. It was annoying at times but you could say it was one of her charms, at least in Makoto’s mind.

“I would rather we not get exposed and hunted down to the ends of the earth by reporters… But anyways, how was work today?” Makoto asked the same question he asked them every day. But somehow the answers were always unique and sometimes concerning.

“Well, only two kids passed out and had to be carried to the nurse's office today… So I think that’s a sign they’re getting better… But someone did end up getting stuck in a tree today.” Mukuro said to no one’s surprise. Despite pushing her students to their absolute limit every day, they still say she’s one of the best teachers who actually cares about them when asked.

That’s new…

“I guess that’s an improvement from last week… Good work…?”

“Yes… Their muscles are developing, I can see them growing abs by the end of the year…”

“...”

I think that’s good…?

“Art, today was mostly normal until a student decided she wanted to find out what paint tasted like and tried today… Thankfully another student slapped it out of her hand and splashed paint onto 6 other students instead… That girl will be the death of me someday.” Sayaka said with a sigh, clearly talking about a certain over-energetic student.

“Ibuki again? Guess that’s another call home I have to do…”

“At least she didn’t eat the crayons like last week…”

That was a whole mess to deal with…

“It’s been mostly normal except for the local ‘chef’ hitting on me,” Junko said, enticingly the chef part.

“W-Wait what!?” Makoto stood up from his chair, slamming his hands on the test.

“Some kid named Teruteru, you should know him, the one who’s been called into your office for making other students feel uncomfortable,” Junko said casually, checking her red nails.

“I mean…” Makoto was expecting her to say something else.

“What? Did you get jealous or worried I got stolen away or something?” Junko said with a few giggles.

“N-No… It’s just… Did they do anything too weird?” Makoto said in a tone of disappointment.

“Besides a few inappropriate comments, stares, and winks. No.” Junko said, playing with one of her large puffy strawberry blonde pigtails, twirling it around with a finger.

“Another name to the list… His mother is going to be pissed…” Makoto had made several phone calls about his behavior in the past.

I won’t be lenient this time… Makoto planned to have a ‘little revenge’ on his student.

“As for me, everything has been quite calm. Not a single fight or accident happened today.” Kyoko said with a small smile, shocking everyone.

“Wait really!?” Makoto said, sounding extremely happy at the news.

“Indeed. Perhaps our luck is changing for the better.” Kyoko said optimistically, it was only a few years ago when she would’ve never entertained the idea of luck, let alone saying it so optimistically… But her new life with Makoto definitely changed that.

“Haha, maybe… But we shouldn’t push it.” Makoto said with a worried laugh, knowing the cycles of his luck.

“Yeah, I'd rather we don’t get jinxed and have a truck fall on us or something,” Junko joked, laughing at what she said.

That sounds strangely specific…

“That won’t happen… I would be able to carry all of you out of the way and pull the driver out in time.” Mukuro said confidently, she could most likely accomplish it too…

“We should celebrate… Let’s go home early!” Sayaka said enthusiastically, looking at Makoto with her puppy eyes. She wasn’t lazy but she would take breaks and days off whenever she could, no doubt because of a few certain students…

“How early?” Makoto gave in.

“Right now, works,” Sayaka answered immediately in an overly cute voice.

“Yes, Makoto could use the time to rest.” Kyoko, the usually most reasonable and logical out of their ‘special’ relationship agreed with Sayaka.

I guess I have no choice then…

“I guess I can ask Hina to take care of things…” Makoto said, feeling guilty as he prepared to send her the text message. She’ll probably understand, right?

“Oh, let’s get Chinese takeout on the way home!” Junko’s suggestion was met with everyone’s agreement as they exited his office together… It was going to be a fun night.

“Ahhhhhh.” Makoto yawned as he woke up on the couch, the hint of Chinese stir-fried noodles still in his mouth. He must’ve fallen asleep. The TV was on, playing the local news channel that his girlfriends were watching. Kyoko and Sayaka were on his left side of the couch, the latter hugging his arm into her chest. On the other side, Junko was also hugging his arm with Mukuro who was enjoying a bowl of popcorn to her right.

“What time is it…?” Makoto asked after a few blinks.

“8:29 pm, the night is still young, a lot of memories waiting to be made~” Junko answered in a very seductive tone, grabbing a fist full of popcorn from Mukuro’s bowl, and shoving it rather aggressively into her mouth. Mukuro didn’t seem to mind, being used to her sister’s antics.

“We should take a shower and go to sleep soon… We still have work tomorrow.” Makoto reasoned, thinking about tomorrow. Despite how hard and frustrating it could be at times, he did enjoy it, helping the next generation and troubled teenagers.

*Ding*

“Huh…?” Kyoko seemed confused, she looked at the notification on her phone, and a facial expression that Makoto had never seen on her before formed on her face. It was fear.

“Kyoko? Is something wrong?” Makoto said after noticing immediately, causing Sayaka, Junko, and Mukuro also to get worried.

“I… We… We should-” Kyoko seemed to be at a loss for words, being cut off by a sudden announcement from the TV.

“Breaking news, a local respected high school principal is being accused of committing polygamy with 4 teachers after a photo of their ‘date’ was leaked online by an anonymous person. But more shockingly, two of the four were previously famous superstars who retired at the height of their careers; Sayaka Maizono and Junko Enoshima.” The new anchor read from her script, her face showing shock and confusion as images of Makoto and his girlfriends flashed on the screen. Those images could’ve been taken from weeks or even months ago.

How did they pictures of me kissing them all in my office!? That angle must mean a secret camera… Goddamit, I should’ve been more careful…

“While details are still unknown, it is suspected to be a polygamous relationship where the 4 women are in love with one man, Makoto Naegi…” Makoto didn’t want to hear anymore after that, he didn’t need to. Their lives and careers were potentially over.

“What… What do we do!?” Sayaka screamed in a very uncharacteristic fearful and angsting tone, hugging his arm even harder.

“Who cares what they think? They know we love Makoto, so what?” Junko sounded angry, angry that their relationship had to be a ‘problem’ in the first place.

“Polygamy is still viewed as immoral and socially unacceptable…” Mukuro said, remembering the reasons why they kept their relationship a secret in the first place.

“Which means we will be shunned by society,” Kyoko said grimly, knowing their lives were about to change a whole lot.

“Well, we couldn’t keep our relationship a secret forever… It was enviable that someone would’ve discovered it… And besides… I do want us to get married.” Junko said the last part embarrassingly, blushing.

“M-Marriage!?” Makoto was snapped out of his thoughts by Junko, the thought of marriage never crossed his mind too much. Especially since it meant societal suicide.

“Yeah, you think I don’t want to be married to you and have a baby inside me one day?” Junko said, causing Makoto’s face to turn just as red as hers.

“This is no time for flirting… I would like for us to be married one day too but… We need to do something…” Kyoko reasoned, checking the news on her phone as more and more articles were released. They were like vultures.

“Do what? We can’t just change the law or social norms… We have no power in this situation…” Sayaka said depressingly, feeling a sense of helplessness she’d never felt before.

“I guess we hope for a good outcome…? Maybe praying will work…” Mukuro said hesitantly, sounding unsure of herself. She didn’t know what else to say to help the predicament they found themselves in.

“Really Sis? Praying? You’ve never done that in your entire life…” Junko said with a tone of disbelief.

“I’m not suddenly religious or anything but… I just really hope we get out of this somehow…” Mukuro admitted with a sigh.

“Hello, yes?” Kyoko picked up her ringing phone, answering the call “Oh… I see… I understand… I will…” She replied cryptically as the others looked on in anticipation, Sayaka’s hand visually twitching in nervousness.

“Even more bad news?” Sayaka in the most depressing way known to man.

“We are being suspended from our work until they can launch a proper ‘investigation’” Kyoko said, crossing her arms with a disappointed look on her face.

“That… We can definitely last for more than a while without the income.” Mukuro referred to Sayaka’s and Junko’s bank accounts. They still had a few billion yen saved from their previous careers.

“I didn’t say we were suspended without pay…” Kyoko revealed, taking a weight off of everyone’s shoulders.

“That’s good I guess…” Sayaka’s voice didn’t match her words.

“I can’t believe my luck is biting me back this way…” Makoto muttered under his breath. Everyone could still hear what he said.

“This is more than luck, the perpetrator must have planned this for months,” Kyoko concluded in silent anger.

“The only real option we have is to wait and see… And hope something good comes out of this…” Junko said rather optimistically, not even Makoto could find a way to say something like that…

“It’s not like they’re going to change the law and public opinion for us…” Sayaka said, thinking realistically.

“That's if it can even be turned around… I just hope we aren’t swarmed by reporters, wherever we go.” Makoto imagined him and his girlfriends being stalked wherever they went… Buying groceries, going on dates, or even just walking…

“I think we should be more worried about how our friends and family will react…” Kyoko reminded them of her poor relationship with both her father and grandfather due to past events.

“That too… I guess all we can do now is… Hope.” Makoto hoped for a somewhat happy ending to this entire mess.

“In other news, a local weed dealer has been found dead on a sidewalk. The cause of death appears to be blood loss because of his several missing organs, according to the police. While it is still unknown, the police suspect the culprits to be a part of the Kuzuryu Yakuza.” The news anchor caught his attention.

Wait… Didn’t I go to high school with that guy? Makoto thought to himself when the news flashed a mostly censored image of his dead body on the screen. Kids probably weren’t watching this, right?

Little did he know, he was going to get a more than happy ending.

Junko was right. Everything did turn out well. More than well, it was the best outcome possible. It had been a little more than a year since their secret relationship was exposed to the entire world and a lot has changed since then. Like how polygamous marriages are legal now, thanks to the huge controversy and debate their relationship started, politically and publically.

Now he was standing at the altar of a church, wearing a white suit and blue tie, waiting for his soon-to-be wives, Kyoko, Sayaka, Mukuro, and Junko to appear. It felt like yesterday when they became his fiances, remembering it as clear as the moonlight he proposed under.

The large doors of the church opened, and the audience of their friends and families clapped. They came in, walking in a straight line, only a few feet away from each other, each one of them holding a bouquet with both of their hands.

Kyoko, Sayaka, Mukuro, and Junko all wore similar wedding dresses, pure white gloves, bridal veils, and blue ribbons. Kyoko carried lavender flowers, Sayaka carried blue iris flowers, Mukuro carried white daffodils, and Junko carried bright red roses.

They were stunningly beautiful.

“You all look amazing,” Makoto whispered as they stepped up next to the altar, standing directly in front of him. He and they all had giant smiles.

“Of course we do, I designed them, after all,” Junko whispered proudly, giving him a wink.

“You really outdid yourself, Junko…” Mukuro whispered, staring at Makoto with a blushing face.

“To think we are standing here already… Even my father and grandfather showed up…” Kyoko glanced at her father and grandfather who were among the audience… She still didn’t have the best relationship with them.

“I guess miracles really do happen…” Sayaka commented.

“Ahem…” The priest shushed them with a cough “We are gathered here today to witness the marriage of Makoto Naegi, Kyoko Kirigiri, Sayaka Maizono, Mukuro Ikusaba, and Junko Enoshima.” The audience cheered in excitement.

Sorry… Makoto apologized in his mind.

“Do you, Makoto Naegi, take Kyoko Kirigiri, Sayaka Maizono, Mukuro Ikusaba, and Junko Enoshima to be your lawfully wedded wives, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish each other as long as you shall live?" The priest asked, turning to the groom, Makoto.

“I do,” Makoto answered, wanting nothing more than to live the rest of his life with them.

“Do you, Kyoko Kirigiri, Sayaka Maizono, Mukuro Ikusaba, and Junko Enoshima, take Makoto Naegi to be your lawfully wedded husband and his surname, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish each other as long as you shall live?” The priest asked, turning to the brides, Kyoko, Sayaka, Mukuro, and Junko.

“I do.”

“I do.”

“I do.”

“I do.”

They all answered, causing the warm feeling inside him to grow even larger. He felt like it could burst at any moment and cause him to begin making love with them right then and there…

“You may exchange rings…” The priest presented 5 rings on a fancy pillow.

Wordlessly, Makoto picked up the platinum silver ring with Sayaka’s name engraved inside, putting it on her ring finger that she presented…

Then Mukuro…

Then Kyoko…

Then Junko…

The order didn’t exactly mean anything, he loved them all equally. And his love for them was beyond the world…

I love you all so much…

He presented his right hand’s ring finger. Sayaka, Mukuro, Kyoko, and Junko picked up the platinum silver ring with his name engraved inside, glancing at each other before putting it on him…

“By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wives, you may kiss the brides. I wish you 5 a long and happy marriage that lasts even in death.” The priest said, as soon as he was done, the audience got up from their seats and cheered loudly.

“I love you… Kyoko, Mukuro, Junko, Sayaka…”

“We love you too, Makoto.”

He gave a long kiss to each of them. They had and will most likely still have their fair share of problems in the future. But now was a time for their celebration. A celebration of their love. After all, they are married now. The most important people in his life are officially his family now.

They were Naegis.

“Makoto… Honey…”

“Makoto… Dear…”

“Makoto… My love…”

“Makoto… Darling…”

“I-I’m up…” Makoto woke up on his bed. He looked to his left. A naked and pregnant Sayaka and Mukuro.

Then to his right. A naked and pregnant Kyoko and Junko.

It had only been a little over a year since their marriage but his wives were already 8 months pregnant.

“Good morning…” Makoto greeted his wives, looking at the clock which was hanging off their wall. Getting up to kiss each of them on the forehead.

They blushed even though it had been their routine for so long.

Cute…

“What would you all like for breakfast?” Makoto put a nearby bathrobe on and stepped off of their rather large bed. But it was needed for 5 people to sleep on.

“Hmmm… I think the baby is asking for yogurt and pancakes.” Kyoko said, rubbing her stomach with a motherly smile.

“Some eggs would be nice too!” Sayaka added, after a little thinking.

“And a glass of orange juice…” Mukuro wanted some vitamin D to balance out the meal.

“Then we could have you for dessert ~,” Junko said seductively, wanting another D. She was too energetic for her own good every morning…

“Umm… On it! We can do it after we are done eating… I’m going to take a shower before making breakfast… I’ll call you all once I’m finished!” Makoto said, leaving the room and heading to their bathroom. His wives hugged each other as they intended to sleep for just a little more.

Life was more than good or great. It was the best it could possibly be. He was married to the loves of his life and they were going to give birth to his children soon... And most likely a few dozen more in the future.

He couldn’t have asked for any more. He truly did love them all.

This was their ending. The best ending.
