The conversation above Mika stopped, and that was enough for him too. He began his way towards the Inn, with the dark figure still on his mind.
He didn’t know what he was walking towards. He wasn’t sure he wanted to know.
Capitano would never hurt him (not without his consent), but if this wasn't Capitano, then he was practically doomed. Still, he couldn’t slow down his footsteps, he couldn’t bring himself to stop walking, the hope in him was too strong.
He was walking in the dark, down the road of Dihua Marsh, yet he was completely calm. Usually, when he was alone in the dark, or even when he was with company, he’d shake from fear. But now the same serene feeling spread around his body that he felt when he was with Capitano.
He wondered why.
Capitano truly was foolish, was he really this lost in their affair?
He was passing by the wood house on the side of the road when he felt the shadows around him shift.

They spent the majority of their night walking to find a somewhat quiet clearing that was away from people. Finally they decided to sit on top of the many cliffs that decorated the views of Liyue.
They laid on the grass, while staring at the stars.
An hour of talking later, Capitano held Mika close. They leaned into each other as their eyes closed, and their lips locked together. Mika turned towards him.

Capitano walked Mika back to the road of the Inn, they got to talk about how the rest of their stay will go. Mika explained to Capitano that he wouldn’t be able to go back to Mondstadt until the end of the Gala, but he had thought about getting Varka to send him to Natlan.
By 6 a.m. they were standing on the road of Dihua Marsh once again, Capitano said goodbye to Mika then pressed a quick kiss onto his lips, before disappearing into the shadows.
Mika sighed as stared into the nothingness, then promptly made his way back to the Inn.
Tomorrow was going to be a long day.
