Takashi: Yes, those two are getting the bus. And I think Tora and Ryusei have got a lift together so we’ll meet them there too

Chifuyu sent a photo
A picture of a printed out photo from one of the rollercoasters sits in his hand, showing four frames of chaos.
He sits next to Kei at the front of the coaster, clearly screaming with joy as they descend, Kei is sat next to him trying very hard to look unimpressed but failing miserably. Behind them are Mikey and Nahoya, Mikey has somehow fallen asleep and Nahoya is laughing at him as he tries to wake him up. Tora and Ryusei sit another row behind, the two of them clinging to each other in fear as they drop.
Chifuyu: You guys should definitely go on The Hurricane! That might be my favourite one so far
Takashi: Maybe later, I really needed a break and going on a coaster right after eating probably won’t end well.

He is sitting in a teacup with Keisuke, Ryusei and Chifuyu. Both Kei and Ryusei are trying to spin the wheel as fast as they can to achieve maximum speed. Chifuyu is laughing madly as he grips the side of his seat, trying not to fall into Tora as the ride whirls around.

Takashi sent a video
Takashi is in a teacup with Draken, Mikey, Nahoya and Souya. Their cup is not spinning nearly as fast, as the five of them have taken to using the moment to relax and let their food go down. Takashi turns the camera to show Kazutora’s teacup further away as it spins madly about the area, going much faster than any of the other cups on the ride.
Pah: man, I kinda wish I’d joined you on that ride, I thought it’d be lame
Keisuke: nahh the teacups are a classic
Chifuyu: They’re one of the best rides since you can control the speed!!
Keisuke: SO WE WENT BEAST MODE
Ryusei: FUCK YES
Takashi: I’m so glad that they only allow five people per cup, if even one of you ended up in the same cup as us I think you would’ve killed me with all the spinning

Emma: How are you already hungry

Senju: can we get a coke or something too? It’s way too warm today

Draken: I don’t know, I’m not a big fan of spooky rides
Takashi: It’ll be fine the ride goes round in groups, I think they seat 2-3 people per bench so one of us will be a group of 3
Draken: Should we do me, you and Mikey and the rest can pair up?
Takashi: Sounds good!
Mikey sent a video
The video is very dark and only the occasional blurry neon light could be made out. The audio was slightly muffled since Mikey was hiding his phone in his clothes since they weren’t meant to film the ride.
“Ooooh spooky.” Mikey draws out the words teasingly as he nudges Draken who sits between him and Takashi.
“Stop it,” Draken says, but there’s no real anger in his voice, just a slight nervousness.
“Careful Draken, if you make too much noise the ghosts will get you,” Mikey concedes. Takashi lets out a small laugh.
Suddenly Draken releases a yelp, as one of the animatronics on the ride leaps out at them with a menacing laugh. Mikey starts laughing at him once he’d recovered from his own shock. Then, the animatronic removes its head from its neck as nonchalantly as one would remove a top hat from their head.
Mikey jumps in his seat. “Fucking hell, that got me.”
“I think Draken’s scream scared me more,” Takashi says, laughing.
Mikey laughs. “Yeah, you ok Draken? That was pretty loud- wait a second, are you two holding hands-?”
The video cuts off as Mikey accidentally hits the stop button trying to move in his seat.

Senju: how long do we plan on staying for btw? I heard there’ll be a fireworks show later?
Hakkai: I’m not a big fan of fireworks
Senju: me neither, but it depends on how long u guys wanna stay and push it
Yuzuha: I’m not sure perhaps we should leave around 5? Or we can just keep wandering rind till we’re tired
Emma: That sounds fine to me, we can just use the fireworks show as a definite cut off point so we don’t spend the rest of our lives here
Senju: awesome!
Hakkai: I’ve just seen a candyfloss machine by the way, does anyone want something?
Senju: YES CANDYFLOSS
Yuzuha: Haven’t you had enough sugar?
Senju: no
Emma: Didn’t you eat like five churros, a donut and a candy apple?
Senju: ur point?
Emma: How do you do it? Surely you feel a little sick by now
Senju: i feel nothing but the energy of a thousand stars burning inside me
Yuzuha: That doesn’t sound good

Hakkai: Tbf I’m pretty sure I’ve seen Mikey eat more sugar than that before and in less time
Emma: Yeah but that’s Mikey

Yuzuha: True, that being said let’s wait a little longer before we eat anything else

Mikey: Hey, is that Emma and Senju over there?
Draken: Where?
Mikey: Candyfloss stand
Takashi: Ohh it looks like them, I think Hakkai mentioned he and Emma were going on a double date soon, I didn’t realise it was here though
Mikey: Oooo let’s go crash their date

Mikey runs up behind Senju and jumps up on their shoulders, Senju lets out an ear-piercing scream leading to several passer-bys sending either concerned or irritated looks in their direction. Yuzuha and Emma laugh whilst Senju tries to punch Mikey’s arm, only for him to duck away behind Hakkai.

Tora: i think she said she also wanted to go on the log ride? But the others wanted to go elsewhere
Chifuyu: Is Hakkai ok? Those two were meant to be on a date
Mikey: He’s probably fine, I’m sure he would’ve said something if he wasn’t
Takashi: I don’t know it must be kind of awkward third wheeling Senju and Yuzuha, maybe we should’ve tried to get him to join us?
Kei: u can make the offer and if he wants to join me n fuyu can go grab him
Takashi: Yeah that sounds like a good idea, thank you Kei

Takashi: Hey Hakkai, I was wondering if you wanted to join me and the others today? In case you want to stick with Emma or something
Hakkai: Nah I’m fine thanks Taka
Hakkai: But d’you think you can do me a favour?
Takashi: Sure, what’s up?
Hakkai: I might just be being paranoid or jealous or idk something, but Emma and Draken seemed to be acting pretty friendly. If it’s not too much to ask can you just let me know if anything idk weird happens between them?
Takashi: I can, but I’m certain that nothing will happen, though I understand why you might be feeling that way, you sure you don’t want to join us? You could keep an eye on them yourself, plus I’m sure Emma would love to have you with us
Hakkai: I’m not sure, I don’t want to act like a jerk to someone just cause I’m feeling jealous or smthn, it’s easier if I stay away for now

Yuzuha: no, if she wants to run off after Draken AGAIN then she can do that
Yuzuha: i can’t believe she just ditched us like that, i mean if she wanted to go join the whole group i wouldn’t care but she obviously only wanted to hang out with Draken
Yuzuha: she didn’t even try hiding it in front of Hakkai!!! she was basically all over him
Senju: yeah ig it was pretty obvious
Senju: we should try and ignore it and have fun tho, we can deal with it later
Senju: Maybe we can go on The Drop? hakkai sounded pretty excited abt it earlier it might cheer him up
Yuzuha: yeah ig we can

“Hey Draken, do you think your parents will still let us in the car?” Tora points his phone to Draken, Mitsuya and Mikey behind him who were all drenched in water from the log ride.
“Yes, I’m sure, though I’ll probably have to help clean the car tomorrow,” Takashi says.
“Hey, Ryusei! Stop flicking water at me!” Chifuyu yells.
Ryusei cackles at Chifuyu’s complaints and flicks his hands out towards him again. Drops of water splash across Chifuyu’s face as he flinches away.
Kei taps Ryusei on the back, and once he turns around to face him, Kei flicks water straight into his face.
“Hey!” Ryusei yelled. Kei just snickers as he joins Chifuyu’s side again and puts his arm around his waist.
“Well, that was a very refreshing ride,” Peh says behind them, nudging Pah in the side as his friend tries to shake the water out of his hair.
“Yeah, perfect way to end a hot summer day,” Pah says dryly as he gestures to the now grey sky above them.
Souya nodded. “We oughta get back before it starts raining, I don’t need to get soaked again.” He passes a blue towel that Takashi had brought over to Nahoya, who took it gratefully.
“By the way, where did Emma go?”
“She decided to head back to the others since she was meant to be travelling back with them,” Mikey responded. “Plus, she probably didn’t want to get wet on all the water rides.”
Takashi nodded. “Fair enough. Though, I think she’s missing out. That rapid barrel ride was amazing.”
“Definitely, I wish we could go in it again.”
“We should absolutely come here again,” Tora said. “Maybe next summer.”

Karen: Yes, hello! It is lovely to hear from you Shin! Mansaku did mention you would be contacting me but he didn’t say what about
Shin: I was wondering if you would have any information on Izana’s bio Mum? Any contact information, even just a picture or a name?
Karen: I have her name but I’m afraid that anything else I have is probably either out of date information or unhelpful. Can I ask why you want this info? And how is Izana?
Shin: He’s doing well! He wants to get in touch with his bio mum. We’re gonna travel to the Philippines and find her
Karen: Oh I see. I will send you all the stuff I can find. I hope you are able to find her! Do you think I could speak with Izana myself about this?
Shin: No, sorry. Izana doesn’t really want to see you right now. If he wants to contact you rest assured he will do so himself

Shin: So we sit down, and, because I’m such a good brother, I was reassuring Izana that it was okay and she was probably just running a little late
Shin: But he had it all in his head that she was never gonna show up, or that she did show up and left because she was so annoyed at him for being late
Shin: He was like proper stressing and saying shit like he’s such a bad son, and that Karen didn’t want him so neither would Althea (that’s her name btw)

Shin: I know! I told him he was being ridiculous but then he got mad at me for saying that

Shin: Anyway, it got even worse because it had been about twenty minutes and Izana was stress-drinking caffeine
Shin: He looked like he was on the brink of a breakdown
Shin: He said we never should have come and that he was sorry for wasting my money by dragging me up here
Shin: And just as he was about to burst into tears, guess who came in the café?
Waka: althea?
Shin: ALTHEA!
Shin: And you should have seen the way Izana’s face changed when he saw her
Shin: Biggest, brightest smile I’ve ever seen

Shin: Omg she was so nice. She was so interested in Izana’s life and what he had been up to
Shin: She said she never wanted to give him up, but that Izana’s dad forced her to so he could cover up their affair
Shin: And also!! She never knew about Karen, she thought she was in a genuine relationship until it all fell apart when she got pregnant

Shin: She wants to stay in Izana’s life. She’s already planned to come visit us!

Hina sent a video
Takemichi is in possession of the ball and is about halfway through the field. Opponents surround him, and he can no longer run, so he passes the ball to Kazushi who kicks the ball towards the opposing goal. Takemichi also runs towards the goal, and Kazushi sees that Takemichi is at a great angle to score. He passes the ball to Takemichi who kicks it towards the goal. The goalkeeper falls to the ground in an attempt to block the ball, but he fails, and the ball hits the net.
“LET’S GOOOOOOO,” Takemichi shouts so loud that he can be heard from the back of the stands. He jumps up and starts playing the air guitar in celebration, and Kazushi runs over to give him a hug.
“Takemichi is so funny,” Hinata giggles.
Emma nudges her and says, “Look at the clock! They’ve only got five minutes left and they’re nil nil!”
“So?”
Emma laughs. “You really don’t know anything about football, do you? It means that whoever scores the next goal wins!”
The camera focuses on an opponent in possession of the ball. Seishu runs up behind him and tackles it away from him. He then passes the ball to Senju who gets the ball into the opponents’ side of the field. When they try to pass the ball to Chifuyu, an opponent intercepts and heads towards the goal. They pass to their teammate who kicks the ball towards the goal. Skimming past the post, the ball does not enter the goal, but rather passes out of bounds.
Since Takemichi was the strongest kicker on the team, he was chosen to take the penalty shootout. He rubs his hands together and smirks, prepared to perform the best kick of his life. All of his football training had led up to this very moment. The ball is kicked with such force that it travels halfway across the field. It is received by Kazushi, who passes to Makoto, who passes to Chifuyu. The whole game was riding on this moment: whether or not Chifuyu would manage to score this goal. He kicks it. The goalkeeper leaps towards the ball. The ball skims past his fingertips and hits the net.
Cheers erupt from every angle and Chifuyu’s teammates run towards him and tackle him with a hug. Takemichi’s face was beaming with the biggest smile you’ve ever seen. The team lift Chifuyu into the air and carry him while chanting, “Rosewood, Rosewood, Rosewood.” The referee’s whistle blew. It was official. They had won.

Yuzuha sent a video
The room is entirely dark until the door creaks open, revealing Seishu’s silhouette. He looks rather confused, wondering why Hajime has sent him to this dark and seemingly empty room.
“Hajime?” he calls out.
Suddenly, the light blares from the ceiling revealing elaborate signs reading ‘Prom’ decorated with copious amounts of hearts. ‘Love Story’ by Taylor Swift starts playing loudly, the people holding up the signs dance, and Hajime starts to walk up to Seishu.
“Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone, I’ll be waiting, all that’s left to do is run.”
Hajime gets down on one knee and the volume of the music lowers as he asks Seishu to prom. Seishu’s face goes completely red.
“I told you not to do this,” Seishu says through a smile.
“Well you accused me of not being a romantic. I had to prove you wrong.”
“Well, you didn’t have to go this far!”
Koko smiled. “Well I did. Are you gonna answer my proposal or am I stuck on one knee forever?”
“You idiot,” Seishu says, holding out a hand to help Koko stand up. “Of course I accept.”
Everyone cheers as the two lean in for a chaste kiss on the lips. They hold hands and smile at each other gleefully, as if they were the only two people left on earth.
