Jaime Lannister was sentenced to a life on the wall. The hollow King Stannis had clenched his teeth and said, “Mad Kings could abide an oathbreaker on their Kingsguard. I am no Mad King.” Then he exiled Jaime and married Cersei, angering and placating Tywin all at once.
The Princess Elia was sent to Dragonstone as regent for her children. While they were kept at King’s Landing as Stannis’ cupbearer (in Rhaenys’ case) and page (in baby Aegon’s case). When old enough Rhaenys would marry Stannis’ heir, while Aegon would be given the Lordship of Dragonstone.
The widow Lady Lysa Arryn of the Vale married Petyr Baelish. Bronze Yohn was made regent for baby Harold Hardyng, the blood heir to Jon Arryn.
Lord Stark remained in Riverrun with his new wife Catelyn Tully, his nephew Robb and the Lord Edmure betrothed to a Frey.
King Stannis reigned in King’s Landing. Jaime Lannister was freezing his balls off.
