Then an hour.
Two hours?
Alright, that's it! The silence have annoyed you. You look up to the receptionist with that look you tried to wear as a protest one, but seeing how she reacted made you think that you have failed to show your frustrations to her.
"Are you... Hungry?"
Yeah damn right you're hungry, and bored too. But especially more hungry than bored.
You open your mouth to indicate to saying a yes, but only a baby blabbering that came out of your lips. Nevertheless, you still take it as long as Katheryne understands you. Anything to inform the receptionist of your hunger.
"Right, baby need a baby type food", she look around the city to look for a place she hope she can find a baby related need for you. "I have no clue of where I can buy a porridge"
She look down back at you. "Wait here baby, I will go look for a shop that sell porridge", Katheryne then walk out of the counter.
You watch her as she walks away from the counter to somewhere else. And it just hits you that she literally just abondoned a baby alone on a counter table.
"Wait, am I even at the age to be allowed to eat porridge? Shouldn't she feed me a baby formula first if I am a newborn right now?"
You look back to the inside of the guild instead, examining the inside for the umpteenth time. Maybe you're still curious whether or not if there's primogems awards even tho it seem impossible for all of this feels too real. But maybe a little bit of searching would still be worth it.

Yep, there are nothing sort of primogem behind the counter.
You either felt disappointed or stupid for being a fool to think that primogem would exist in this world if you won't need it to wish for a character to come home. Right?
But... If you could actually wish a character to come home, you wonder how would they looks like while falling from the sky and landing right on top of the Venti's statue.
Oh yeah, speaking of Venti, you wonder if he's in the tavern right now. Drinking or playing his lyre while asking Diluc for a free wine or somehing. Great, now speaking of Diluc, you now wonder how he looks like here? Is he gonna take a form from his butchered in game model or his official artwork face and hair?
Now you just want to meet and see all of the playable characters from the game to compare how they looks like in your vision now that you're trapped in this world. And also trapped in this baby form.
"God dammit, can't I just get reincarnated as an adult instead of this small weak baby? How am I supposed to try to fight in this world like your favorite characters does?!"
Oh, something just clicked in your mind.
"Wait, can I also get granted a vision here?"
Now that idea just excited you again for landing in this world. Surely everything will be feel complete after you meet your favorite characters here 'and' got a vision for yourself! You wonder what element would fit you the most for your vision...
You were busy looking up at the ceiling to fail noticing a big ass red witch hat right beside you, as if it's staring right into your soul.
"Why look what do we have here!", you snap from your thought after hearing a lady voice above you.
The lady seems like knowing you for just noticing her presence after her approachness. You stare at her questioning.
Her bright but-unblindly-bright blonde hair falls behind her, while a bang compliment her forehead, while also almost successed on covering her elf ears if it's not for them to be pointy and long, and with a big ass red hat sitting on top of her head. And the fact that it's a witch hat really what makes her looks eye catching that you're confused how come you didn't notice her before she said a word.
Wait, big ass red witch hat? Ain't that seem familiar—
"Why would anyone left a poor baby here right on top of the adventurer guild counter?", the lady puckered her lips as if to show her pity to the baby before her, which it's you.
"Where is that ad astra abysoque girl anyway?", she turn her head around the area to look for the girl she's looking for, before looking back down at your tiny baby form.
"Oh you poor... Poor... Baby...", you feel two soft, and maybe also delicate, you want to say that but you can't see them below your body, lifting you up from the box or basket that your small body have been make a home for the whole time you've came to this world.
You look at the lady that is now before you, smiling warmly as if to tell you are in a safe hand now—which you doubt it, knowing that this lady is—
"Worry not, little one", her voice soothe you as she hold you closer to her body as if to secure you. "Because I will take care of you, and you little one can call me aunt-"
"Aunt Alice...", a young male voice came behind sounds disapproving of what the lady before you doing, and cutting Alice from her introduction.
"I see that the baby doesn't belong to you, so I won't advice you to just pick them up randomly without their parents' permission"
Without a word telling her to, Alice already turn around to face the voice's owner—which you just gotta knew who belongs it. Even the voice itself already excites you more to find the owner's face—or well, his hair mostly. Because you just know who awaits you from behind Alice.
Two teal eyes are seen below his messy bangs. Looking up to the lady that is taller than him, a golden diamond ( or star? ) shape can be seen on his neck as he look up. He make a face as if he's disappointed at his aunt for planning to kidnap a literal baby that got left alone by themselves.
"Worry not, Albedo. I was only joking", Alice laughed at her own joke, as if she wasn't actually just planning to kidnap you to raise you herself.
You look at the young ( well, not really, but appearance can still fool you anyway ) man with awe and proudness that he keep the official art's hairstyle instead of his butchered one from the in game model. You can now rest in peace for finally see his hair getting "fixed", if only you're not in a stupid baby body that doesn't stop bothering you with it's rumbling tummy.
You look at the man and well, admiring him of course. You can now finally see one of your favorite playable character anyway! Oh how you want to walk to him and start a conversation with him, whether it's about him or your obsession over him when you were just a player in your past life, collecting your favs from the screen and learning all about them.
Damn, being a baby sucks.
"If so, Aunt Alice, maybe you can put the baby back to where they belong", Albedo suggests.
"Alright, alright", Alice make a sound of complain though she still put you back to where you were laying and pinch your baby cheek softly as if the pinch is what she's gonna left behind for you to remember her. "Dear me, I can't even bring you to my place unfortunately"
"If I were your mom, I would have already bring you on an adventure and do so much fun"
"Adventure?", you thought, "wait what about Klee? Also, where is she? I wanna see my daughter as well!", you look around to see if you missed seeing the said child. Maybe she was beside Albedo and holding his hand with her tiny one in that cute child manner, and you failed to notice her because you were too focusing your eyes on Albedo's pretty fluffy hair, and eyes... And his golden diamond sign on his neck—or maybe she has already running off before you could notice her and her red hat! Yeah, haha...
Dammit, you need to stop being a simp over a character. Also, you're a baby now, so it will be weird if he know about your obsession over him while you're still remaining as a baby.
"Ah, hello miss Alice", a female voice came from behind Alice, making her turn around and smile to see the owner.
"Ah, Katheryne! I was looking for you after founding this little one here all alone", Alice point at the baby she meant. "I was wondering why this cute baby is left alone, any idea where their parents are?"
"Ah, he requested me to babysit them for awhile while he do a comission, insisting that he had to do it because if not, I will give the commission to other adventurers"
"Wait. And you accepted his request?!", Alice got dumbfounded at Katheryne's answer. "The adventurer guild's famous receptionist Katheryne, have taken a request?! Oh this news is gonna be a top hot topic on the Steambird's newspaper!", Alice overexaggerated as she make a surprised pose with her palm covering her mouth as if it is a biggest news she ever received in her life.
Kinda silly, you think. You have always wonder how Alice character is gonna be. Though you might have already expected some energized troblemaker personality in her just by seeing her daughter, Klee. But seeing her personally acting like an excited kid is surprisingly a new sight for you. And you don't complain for her funny personality. Maybe you do wish she would just kidnap you and raised you instead of the adventurer guy that just left you to Katheryne.
"Oh and what is that you just brought, Katheryne?", Alice asks.
"A baby food", Katheryne answer.
"A porridge, huh? Is our cutey little baby hungry, hmmm?", Alice turns around again to pinch your chubby cheek again like it's her new toy.
"Are you hungry, baby? Yes, you are... Aww... Want Aunt Alice to feed you, hm?", she keeps cooing at you.
Katheryne open the small box that she claimed to be a baby food, only to look around the area to find something but failed.
"I forgot the bowl for the porridge. Maybe I should go back look for it"
"Ah, worry not, Katheryne! I can offer you mine instead! I was on my way to home anyway", Alice offered instead.
"Ah, thank you miss Alice", Katheryne put her hand on her chest as if to show her gratitude.
"Oh no need for the formality", Alice insist on her keep calling her miss, maybe she feel it unfitting for her to call herself that. You thought that's not entirely wrong, since seeing Alice personally have made you comparing her to Klee, which the both girls have a childish and cheerful personality ( also the chaotic one too ).
"Now what are we waiting for? To my house we go!", without waiting for Katheryne replies, Alice already picks your box up and starts walking to the city's street without warning.
"Let's go dear, you're on your break, right? So might aswell visit my place~"
Before Katheryne could make any complain, Alice already walked away with you secured in her hands. While Albedo still stand at right where he last standing at the last past minutes, looking at Katheryne as if to tell her that they both can't stop her from doing what she's determined to do.
"Sorry for Aunt Alice's inconveniences, miss Katheryne", that's all he said before following Alice from behind.
And so, Katheryne follow with the baby food box in her hand, following the two ( three ) behind.
What a weird way to start your isekai journey in this world, you thought.
