Chapter Text
If anyone had ever thought to ask Danny if he thought his partner would prefer to be the big spoon or the little spoon, Danny would have laughed them in the face and gestured at Steve.
Now he knows better, and he can’t keep the smile off his face.
He doesn’t want to keep the smile off his face, either.
He presses said smiling face against Steve’s back, happiness almost overwhelming him, and when he lets his free hand escape Steve’s shirt and find its way up to Steve’s sternum, he has to work hard not to let out an undignified squeak when Steve grabs his hand and intertwines their fingers.
“You got any complaints about my way, yet?” The words ghost over Danny’s knuckles and all he manages to do is shake his head. “That’s what I thought.”
-- The end --
