Looking around it’s dark and quiet.The soft erie music faintly resembles a lullaby is ever so present. Breathing in, you look around and see everything is 10x your size. Walking from behind the desk you see no one… except the eerie silence. Looking at the doors they have also become out of your grasp, you can't push those doors even if you tried. You paced around for an exit anywhere, dread filled your stomach. “This cannot happen. no.no.no” This can’t be happening! Sweat dripped down as you started to grab yourself, nails digging into the skin. “Relax,think, focus.” if there is a way out then maybe….-the Slide! Of course. No one would spot you and you wouldn’t get in trouble on the first day,(hopefully).The play place was huge in comparison to a tiny person running on the plush mat. Each step was plush, with a lot of dirt. No biggie. You have reached the middle of the daycare, and you look around keeping pace. Seeing the play set makes you shiver. imagine going in there this size,who knows when the last time they cleaned it.
Heheheheeee…the eerie rasp had come from above stopping you in your tracks. Heart racing, you go full on running towards those slides.”hell no, hell no, hell no.” Yep just- HoLlLYyYyY-. A giant slipper slammed right in front of you,would have been squashed, yeah I don't think going to freedom is gonna happen. Running to the play now hahaha(who cares about germs). RED eye lights cast in front of you. Naughty Naughty it’s Past your bedtime… you must be Punished! “God, that’s what the voice was. “Yeah okay, just how about we walk away and pretend I was never here.. Nope, wrong answer, WRONG ANSWER. Desperately running, just to fail.-=- snatched up in a fist. Fear stuck and the dread of the situation finally sunk in. You were careless, on the first day of the job you let all this happen and now you are going to pay with your life. “Please don’t kill me. I didn’t mean to stay over! “Tears pricked your eyes as you squeeked” I swear I'll leave, I-I I- The sudden jerk was enough to register that they were talking. A Raspy stern voice spoke, “Jeeze, look, I’m not gonna kill ya. Don’t look at me like that.” Trying to grasp what they said you double-take. “Who are you and why are you here? Are you even human? Hhhmm?” Ah. well. “I-I’m er was, I work here? I fell asleep a-and-” Red eye lights came in my direction and had to squint. “So you fell asleep. That doesn't answer how or what you are still doing here.” like, I was saying my name is. He heard your name and you heard whirs and clicks. “Ah. I see. You were supposed to clock out five minutes ago. And I see your file says that you are 5 '7, shouldn’t you be?… “they look you up and down.”
You spoke carefully. “Look. They shouldn't even know about this. "Could you just keep this between us..please.” It Clicked its head in a full 180*. “So is that a” “Yes” Oh. a small amount of relief left your body. That was easy. “ So could I go now?" You couldn’t tell what was behind those eyes, all you could see was red. But just as you said that he spun around and walked to the daycare door. Looking how you are in the palm of a robot made everything else so surreal. Fear yet laced with curiosity. “So. I guess you head home now ya” It was a statement but yeah. He drops you off to the ground slowly, he backs away with a creepy wave and closes the door. A raspy chuckle escaped, "What do you know, something interesting did happen today.” already outside you were able to calm down and become a normal height.(like after 6 minutes) “What a terrifying day.” you sprint out not daring to look back. You run until you're at the door,out the building and on your bike, starting it up and slamming the gas to get the hell out. “Ding” you pause, that-that can't be right looking at your phone you see you clocked out but you didn't even head over to the locker(not that anyone can blame you.) but you didn’t even think about it. The only one that knew was-Ah. “ He even took the time to clock you out, how ‘thoughtful’.”-_-
