The Interview

Chapter 3: Writers Commentary

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Instead of studying for my English test I wrote this.

As you can now tell I am ripping off CometESwoozes idea for writers commentaries and doing
one myself, though this is going to be a tad bit different.

Where did the idea come from?

Now this fic actually came from another BCB fanfiction I call The Split. Now in The Split Mike's
personality splits into three parts. I am not going to talk about the other two personalities as the
only one you need to know for this is the Green Scarf Mike personality.

Green Scarf Mike represents two characteristics about Mike, his intelligence and his
self-isolating tendencies and this fic was kind of an epilogue to a scenario where he achieved a
total victory over the other two personalities.

Why the AugustusxDaisy kitten? Why did you make him female?

I chose the AugustusxDaisy kitten because based on the fact he seems to be the most curious
in the draw stream images and thus the most likely to try and write a book about what his
parents went through in high school, that and the fact I think he looks cool.

The reason why he is a female is because I thought he was one at first and by the time I
realized my mistake, I just decided to roll with it.

Why did I choose Seattle?
I choose Seattle for several reasons. One is that Mike wants to be as far from his old friends as
possible and since Roseville is said to be on the east coast, he would obviously choose a
location on the west coast. Second is that Seattle's weather I do think matches Mike's mindset
in this fic.

The Ending

Originally I planned for the fic to end with Mike knocking on Lucy's door and her answering but I
decided to leave it more open ended.

Notes:

The end. Now back to writing Outbreak and Broken Reflections.

Notes:

I know I said I was going to work on Outbreak and Broken Reflections but this two-shot idea was too good to pass up.
