Chapter Text
Sean Klein was a ten year old girl who lived in the district of shigashina where she barely knew kids her age who were surprisingly not bullies like her three friends. Sean had loved theories about the outside world, together with armin.
She sat with her three friends just by the river that ships to the other districts, talking right after they shooed armins bullies from beating him up.
"Why do they look at us coldly, just because we wanna go outside and demolish all the titans?" Eren asked raising one knee to his upper body, "Eren, do you know how some soldiers regret joining the scouts?" you looked at his dumb founded head,
"Because the commanders are strict? what else?" He tried defending, still curious and confused as ever. "Not only that, the friends they had, they saw their comrade's limbs get ripped apart, traumatized- near-death experience, even worse, death." I made sure it was scary as possible, so he would be more aware of what's happening to the soldiers.
He glared at you, "No! Stop scaring us." he looked away, stuttering. "You never liked admitting your defeat, do you?" you chuckled, rolling your eyes at the sight of the boy who looked slightly embarassed.
"How about you, Sean? how do you know about that?" you looked at the blonde beside you, his strands of hair flew on the sjde of his face, brushed by the wind.
"Her mother was a soldier, she said her mom would tell her news about her friends that sacrificed their lives to explore outside the walls." you hear Mikasa explain for you.
yes, indeed. your mother just came back from the mission outside, but she will be home just later to visit me- which rarely happens. "And that's because just by staying inside the walls, 100 years have passed in peace. so that people don't go out the walls haphazardly and prevent things from keeping the Titans out inside the walls, the king government made it a policy that it's a taboo to have interest in the outside world." Armin said, not breaking eye contact with the soil under him, he looks at it intensely.
"We're risking our lives, it's our choice! More resources for them!" Eren shouted, "You're not allowed to," Mikasa cut him off as the three of you looked at her. the two started arguing about how Mikasa snitched on Eren to tell the Yeager parents that he wanted to join the scouts-
"Even though the wall hasn't been destroyed for a hundred years... it doesn't mean.. that it won't be destroyed today." You hit Armin's shoulder, "Hey! don't say that!"
A bolt of huge lightning outside was heard- every person looked towards the walls- the ground rumbled, You ran close to where the sound came from- "Sean! come back it's dangerous!" Armin ran after you reaching out.
"Armin, Sean!" the brunette and black-haired girl ran after you and Armin. "What are you two looking at?!" you pointed at the huge wall. "You spoke too soon, Armin." you stuttered, "It can't be.. the wall is 50 meters you know!" you looked at it in fear, and you heard Eren whisper under his breath.
"It's them, the Titans." you watched in fear as the big muscle-covered head stood taller than the walls, looking dead in everyone's eyes.
"the gate! The titans will be inside in no time!" i said, looking over where the wall was kicked, it had a huge hole, titans trying to come in.
Was i going to die? I wasn't sure. But i made sure i died seeing her for the last time as she was rarely home from being a soldier.
i ran from the river who was just slightly far away from our home. "Hey come back, weve got to evacuate!" Armin panicked, squeezing his lemon head. "My house.. Mom.." eren stuttered, looking at the direction of his home.
people were screaming, the loud fotsteos of the titans making our ears ring, vibrating the ground at a high frequency. We all looked at each other in terror and fear.
"Eren!" Mikasa shouted he started running off, as well as i did. Mothers are very dear no matter how strict or absent they were. "Armin, go with her!" Mikasa said, running behind eren with the red scarf covering her nose from the dust flying around.
