Chapter Text

Aladdin was pacing in front of the statue of Morgiana. Cassim and Mozenrath were gone for a day. He hopes that everything went smoothly.

“Al, don’t worry. I’m sure they’re on their way back.” Genie assured him.

Aladdin sighed.

Suddenly, Jasmine spotted them. “There they are!”

They looked up and saw Carpet landing in front of them. Cassim and Mozenrath seemed okay physically but they looked like they’ve been through war. Mozenrath hopped off Carpet and walked past them towards the statue. He was holding the engagement necklace that Cassim once gave to her. Mozenrath placed the necklace among the tributes and offerings.

“I avenge you, Mother. I hope…you can rest in peace now.” Mozenrath’s voice trembled as tears streamed down his face.

Cassim hugged Mozenrath as a way to comfort him. After they finished hugging, Aladdin decided to hug Mozenrath as well. It took Mozenrath by surprise but he gladly accepted the hug. Aladdin let go and stepped back.

“You good?” Aladdin asked.

Mozenrath nodded. “I believe you have some unfinished business.”

“Yeah, let’s go home.” Aladdin smiled.

Once back at Agrabah, the wedding was finally on. Aladdin and Jasmine are standing in front of candles in the wedding pavilion. Aladdin and Jasmine stared at each other lovingly before they leaned forward and shared their first kiss as husband and wife. Genie shoots off some fireworks as everyone cheered. Genie starts to cry again. He grabs Carpet to blow his nose, but Carpet hands him a tissue. Jasmine and Aladdin walk up the aisle, Rajah carrying the train of Jasmine's dress as they pass by all of their dear friends they made during their engagement. Aladdin looked off in the distance which confused Jasmine at first until she followed his gaze and saw Cassim leaning against a pillar. With Mozenrath next to him as he pets Xerxes, he smiled at the happy married couple. Cassim nods toward Aladdin, and turns around. Iago is behind him.

“Out in the open? No mask? Pretty risky if ya ask me.” Iago pointed out.

“Even a wanted man and his sorcerer son can risk a bit to see their family member’s wedding.” Cassim said before he gets down on one knee in front of Iago. “So, you little turkey, come to say goodbye?”

“Nah, I already said my goodbyes. Of course, the monkey had a cry, and that got me goin'...” Iago wiped a tear away from his eye.

Cassim looked confused. “You're not gonna live in the palace?”

“With the newlyweds?” Iago replies as Cassim jumps off the edge of the pavilion, and lands on top of his horse. “It'll be all lovey dovey! I just as soon keep my will to live.”

“Well, I don't know where I'm going...but you are welcome to come along for the ride.” Cassim smiled at Iago.

“What about your other kid? You know, the wizard?” Iago asked.

Just then, they were startled by Mozenrath defending himself against the guards shooting arrows by slicing them in half with his mother’s twin daggers.

“I think he’s coming along too. Think you can handle being around him?” Cassim smirked.

“Eh, I’ll live.” Iago lands on Cassim’s shoulder. “You're a good guy, Cassim...but not too good. Ha ha!”

Cassim and Iago ride off as they attempt to keep up with Mozenrath and Xerxes while also outrunning the guards. Once they were out of the guards’ sight, Mozenrath reappeared with his own horse.

“So, are you coming with us?” Cassim asked.

“Of course…” Mozenrath shrugged before revealing that he somehow managed to pickpocket Cassim while he wasn’t looking and got ahold of his coin bag! “ If you ever want to see this again.”

Both Cassim and Iago were speechless. Then Mozenrath rode off, laughing. Cassim chuckled.

“What’s so funny?! You, the King of Thieves, just got pickpocketed by your own kid!” Iago exclaimed.

“And I can’t be more proud of my boy! Besides…” Then Cassim revealed that he also somehow managed to steal Mozenrath’s twin daggers. “How long do you think it’ll take before he notices that they’re missing?”

Both Cassim and Iago laughed before they rode off to catch up with Mozenrath and Xerxes.

Meanwhile, Jasmine and Aladdin come out of the palace. Jasmine throws her bouquet into the crowd. Four Genies appear in dresses, reaching to catch it. They move as it comes near them, and Sadira catches it! She let out a squeal of happiness. The Merchant from "Aladdin" offers to sell Aladdin and Jasmine a rug and a plate with their faces on it. They shake their heads and fly off. They stopped at the same time as the four outlaws/in-laws did. Aladdin and Jasmine waved goodbye to Cassim, Mozenrath, Iago, and Xerxes as the two wanted men waved back before they took off again. Aladdin grabs Jasmine to give her a passionate kiss, but Jasmine kisses him softly. Cassim, Mozenrath, Xerxes, and Iago ride into the moonlight.
