Chapter Text
Philip stood in the door way of Henry's room. Henry still hadn't noticed him yet, luckily his attention was on Alex's phone that was playing Bluey for him. Alex moved closer to Philip in an attempt to get him to leave them alone. Philip didn't take the bait he charged past Alex pushing him out of the way, Bea soon ran in and came over to Alex "What's happening, are you alright?" Alex was frozen in place unable to look at Bea just watching as Philip moves around the sofa in Henry's room tearing it apart and throwing the cushions all over the floor. Some how Henry had drifted asleep, laying peacefully head resting lightly on the back of the bed. Bea ran over to him shaking him awake gently "Hen? Baby? We need to wake up now" Henry let out a whinny "Nooooo" as Bea grabbed his wrists trying to get him up. "I want Daddy" He whines. This catches Philips attention he stops nosing around throwing all the blankets and teddies from the sofa. "I don't suppose he means Father does he?" Philip asks in his stupid stuck up accusatory tone. No one answers but as Henry is still very dopey and hasn't realized Philips presence yet he asks again "Where's Daddy? I want Daddy" He whines again and Alex finally comes to his senses ignoring Philip's judgement and quickly moving to be with his little. "Yes, baby. What do you need?" He asks in a calm and cool tone. Philip watches this scene unravel beneath him mouth agape.
Once Henry has stuttered over some words and phrases ,biting his lip and pouting many times as Alex teases him, he finally says that he wants something to eat. "Aw is my little munchkin hungry?" Alex asks tickling his tummy, Henry nods giggling. Alex stands up and walks over to the side where Shaan has placed the food that was ordered earlier. In moving away from Henry, Alex's body stopped shielding his view from the pile of teddies and blankets Philip had destroyed. "No!!! No, Jon who do dis to you? Why someone be so mean to you?" He whimpers examining Jon. In his harsh movement Philip had split one of Jon's ears (the one Henry likes to chew). Philip scoffs behind him so Henry whips his head around "God, grow up already, is this some sort of kink? If so leave me out of it?" He chuckles cruelly at his own joke. Henry starts to cry looking at the stuffing pouring from Jon's ear. "I'm not kidding Henry" he gestures to his brother and the pile of teddies and blankets "Whatever this is, needs to stop, your a prince for god's sake, act like one." Henry tears up even more, unable to pull himself from his littlespace.
Alex hears Henry's cries and his brother's cruel remarks and soon appears to aid his upset little. He bursts into the room plate of apple and crackers, he rushes to Henry's side and kneels next to him stroking his hair holding him close and trying to ease his sobs "Hen, baby, it's okay. Jon's gonna be fine, we can as Bea to fix him up for you. And you can give him extra cuddles and attention once he has had his little operation." Henry nods turning to the little puppy in his adorable little voice "Jon, Bea is gon help you get well. I gives you extra snuggles, if you brave." He says holding the dog close and running up to Bea questioning if she will fix the dog. Alex doesn't hear what he said but by Bea's nod and the way she slowly pyres the dog from the little's grasp he can tell what Henry has asked.
As soon as Bea has left the room, Henry comes running back to Alex to hold his hand as ask him "What gon happedn to Jon?" Alex softly stokes his head and says "He's just going to get sewn up. How about you go and ask how all your other stuffies are doing?" He says calmly as Henry nods running to the pile of his teddies. Soft questions and answers can be heard coming from the prince (different voices for each animal obviously).
Once Henry is calmly playing with his toys Alex turns to Philip. "You had no right to shove me" He says the range brewing in his stomach. Philip does his stupid upper-class scoff again "I have every right too, not only did you ruin my wedding with your stupid cake scandal, you started a secret relationship with my brother who was perfectly respected before you came along, you overshadowed mine and Martha's pregnancy announcement with your email leak and now you have turned him into so freak who acts like a baby." He concluded a smug grin on his face, Alex isn't worried thought as he is the king of winning arguments and will easily beat Philip. "My relationship with Henry is no longer a secret, our lives have been turned upside down over the last 3 weeks thanks to this email business. Our most private and intimate thoughts splashed across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and the news papers. We have lost any shred of privacy, intimacy and dignity thanks to some idiot hacking our emails. Henry is desperate for some kind of escape from all that and if this is the only way he can get that, then I'm happy to pride it too him. I love my boyfriend and if you don't mind right now his favorite teddies is getting sewn up so I'm going to be supportive. Maybe you should stop meddling in our lives just because yours is so boring, okay?" Alex pushed Philip in the direction of the door and he took the hint mouth still agape he left.
Alex walk towards Henry's sniffling and crying form on the floor in front of him "Henry? Baby how about we go and check on Jon now?" Henry nodded slowly wiping the snot from his nose and obediently following Alex to Bea's bedroom where she was just about to finish patching up Jon.
Bea's room is just as Alex had expected. It was painted a light shade of pink and all the furniture was an complimenting birch wood. She had a large 4 poster bed adorned with a low hanging string of fairy lights. There were many pictures of her, her friends and her and her family (Alex noticed how she kept a minimal amount of Philip's pictures). Next to her bed resting on the nightstand was a small photo frame containing a picture of her, Henry and their farther at London zoo looking at the penguins. In the corner he could see a small scribe that said 'Daddy loves you, bumble.'
She was said at her desk with a small sewing kit out. She had just finished tying the last knot when Alex and Henry entered. Henry ran towards Bea as Alex chuckled at his antics. "Jon, is he otay? Daddy said he be fine, but I thinks he was lying." Bea chuckles "No Hen he wasn't lying, Jon's fine looks" she said presenting the small dog back to Henry grinning at his little face lighting up as he saw the dog. Giggling wildly he takes the dog from Bea's grasp babbling to the dog. Soon he settles down with some TV (It might not be Bluey for once Alex isn't paying attention). Alex is more interested in looking at his adorable boyfriend curled up in his lap. The second he slips his thumb into his mouth Alex is there swapping it out for his pacifier clipping it to his T-shirt.
The even quickly comes to a close and once Alex returns from the wardrobe now in his pj's he takes a quick snap of Henry curled up on his bed pacifier just out of his mouth hanging from the chain and Jon right next to him. He loved him so much. Who would have thought Philip ruining their day could end up making the best night.
