Chapter Text
The King has been watching over this town for many, many years. It had just… caught his attention. It still does.
Due to The King’s presence, the sky stays a cloudy, hazy dark teal, littered with shining stars. It’s been that way for as long as anyone could remember - an entire generation grew up with the sky in this way, and it seems that another will, as well.
And yet… no one asks any questions.
Of course, some know exactly why, The King’s loyal followers treasure the sky in this way. But the rest… they go about their business as if it’s not unusual that the sun is only seen on rare occasions.
The King will never fully understand how humans can ask no questions about things which were clearly out of the ordinary.
Though, he supposes that it makes his followers’ work much easier. The King certainly won’t complain about that.
