Twinned Destiny

Chapter Text

As Sion made her way back from the train station, she noticed something. Misaki was quiet tonight. Awfully quiet. Sion didn’t exactly mind this, but she did feel somewhat more conscious of herself, alone as she was. There was no one around to notice her. As such, she rushed through town, eager to make it back to her home. The weather was good, and the clear weather meant the entire town was bathed in moonlight. Were she with anyone, it would be worthy of a comment or two.

Soon enough, she arrived back at Satsuki’s lair/their home. She scaled the steps up to their dwelling, and entered.
Sion sighed happily as she stepped through the door.

“Welcome home.” She heard a voice call over from another room.

The voice was… her own?

A figure rounded the corner, steps and gait very, very familiar to her. Sion looked up from the figures shoes, and flinched.

Standing in front of Sion was… herself. An exact match from head to toe. The other Sion seemed equally shocked by the sight in front of her. They both stared at each other, until… both Sion and the imposter leapt into action. Dashing headlong at each other, each attempted to strike the same blow, and both hit, striking both of their shoulders. They continued to exchange blows and kicks, until eventually the Sion who Sion had found here managed to tackle her to the ground.

“Who are you?” The other Sion demanded coldly, staring into her eyes with a stern, almost furious look.

“Sion Eltnam At-”

The other Sion’s gripped tightened.

“That was a flawed question on my part.” She said. She then proceeded to grill herself, asking a series of increasingly specific and detailed questions, until finally getting to the sort of thing only she herself would know.

“Current number of memory partitions?” Sion felt her counterpart’s grip tighten. Knowing herself, she was sure this question was intended to weed her out, and finish this.

“Seven. Real operating capacity is five.” She responded. “Current capacity is reduced to five, due to Riesbyfe…” Sion trailed off as she felt the grip loosen slightly.
Both Sions sighed. This test had done nothing to clarify things, or weed out an imposter. After all, if she was an imposter, how could Sion know these answers? And were Sion an imposter, how would she know to ask them?

“Time since-” Before the other Sion could even finish her thought, Sion said

“Five years.”

“Gah…” The other Sion reluctantly released her grip, and stood up, offering a hand to help Sion up.

“Lacking convincing evidence otherwise, and now possessing considerable evidence of it, I guess…” One of the other Sion’s hands rose to her forehead, wiping sweat off it.

“I suppose you are, in fact, me.”

“Agreed.” Sion nodded. “You wouldn’t have been able to grill me like that without being me.”
The other Sion nodded, lips pursed. They continued to stare at each other, until finally Sion’s counterpart broke the silence.

“This is… a conundrum.” The other Sion said.

“Indeed.” Sion agreed.

“I propose that we… coexist for the time being, as I see no other alternative.” The other Sion proposed.
“That is acceptable.” Sion agreed. A few moments later, the other Sion slowly stepped towards her, drawing very close.

“Hmph. Do I really look so grim?”

“H-huh?” Sion stepped back a little, to no avail. The other her simply advanced forward, now nearly touching noses with her. Sion blushed as she was backed into the wall, and then realized her other self was red as well.

“W-what are we doing, exactly?” She asked.

Her other self was silent for a moment, her hand creeping up to grab Sion’s chin.

“An examination.” The other Sion said. Suddenly, a finger ran across the bottom of her jaw, running back and forth between her neck and chin. Sion’s face twisted into the instinctive grin one breaks into when tickled, and attempted to squirm away.

“Ah, more confirmation of your identity… we are quite ticklish there.” The other Sion said, releasing her, and backing off.

Sion took a moment to recover, and then decided it was her turn to corner her other self.

“What are you-” Sion’s other self groaned and shuddered a little as they both tumbled onto a couch together.

“I suppose that’s what I get for toying with you…” She said,

“That’s correct.” Sion said, allowing her expression to soften, easing into a vaguely playful sort of look. Sion’s hand ran along her counterpart’s side, hands brushing against the outlines of her breasts, and traveling down to her hips.

“Gwu…” The other Sion whine as Sion’s hand moved back upwards. She ran a finger between the other Sion’s breasts, slipping between them, cloth and breast parting as she did.

“Gah… is this really how we’re going to spend the evening?”

“I suppose that we may be somewhat ahead of ourselves.” Sion conceded. She let go of herself, and took a seat on the couch next to her.

An hour or so later, the apartment door opened again, with Satsuki and Riesbyfe stepping through it this time.

“Oh dear.” Sion said.

“Indeed.” The second Sion agreed. They both waited for Satsuki and Riesbyfe to enter the room.

“We’re home.” Riesbyfe called out. They heard her place something on the kitchen counter.

“Welcome home.” They both called out instinctively. Immediately afterward, they heard a flurry of footsteps racing towards the room.

The two Sions looked at each other, then looked backed to the door and braced themselves.

“Hey, Sion are-” Satsuki had eagerly trod into the room, and stopped in her tracks upon processing the sight before her.

“T-two-” Satsuki jumped back slightly, extremely unsure of the situation before her.

“Two what?” Riesbyfe stepped into the room behind, and was similarly dumbstruck by the sight of two of their girlfriend sitting on the couch. She closed her eyes for a minute, then opened them again. She shrugged and took a seat between both Sions, looking incredulous.

“Do either of you know why there's more than one of you?” Riesbyfe asked.

“No.” They both said. They stared at each other, and then one of the Sions said, “I came home and somehow, there was another me already home.”

“And despite intensive questioning and interrogation, we were unable to establish either of us as a fake.” The other Sion spoke up.

“I see.” Riesbyfe nodded, looking thoughtful for a moment. Then, she grabbed both of the Sions, enveloping both of them in a large, tight hug. Both of the Sions groaned and tried to wriggle out of the hug, before eventually settling in and returning the gesture.

“Hey!” Satsuki laughed and jumped onto the couch as well, managing to squeeze herself between Riesbyfe and one of the Sions. She leaned up against the Sion closest to her, and grinned.

“How are you feeling about this?” She asked, eyes locked with Sion.

“Er, well… I'm not exactly sure yet.” Sion said, blushing slightly. “You?”

“I don’t know, I think I like this.” Satsuki said happily, nuzzling and pushing up against the Sion sitting next to her. As she did this, her free arm grabbed the other Sion and pulled her over, leaving her squeezed between two Sions. Riesbyfe laughed as she watched this go on.

“That’s the right idea!” She said, pulling back over the Sion closest to her, and crushing her in a hug.

“Ahh-” That Sion groaned. After trying to wriggle into a more comfortable position for a few moments, she accepted her fate, sighing and smiling as Ries hugged her.

“I think I could get used to this.” Riesbyfe said, easing her hold a little to let her Sion rest her head on her shoulder.

“Yeah… I can’t really say I mind this…” Satsuki said. “What do you think, Sion?

“Uh…” Both Sions said simultaneously. They looked at each other again, then said.

“I imagine we can make this work.”
