Chapter Text

May 28th 1993

In a cushy hotel in beautiful country of Kranplax, the two lovers watch the sunset on an unreasonably cold spring night on the balcony, the smell of wine and well done steak lingers in the air.

Wlavnox: Only been five years of us being married? I couldn’t picture not being with you.

Thlalix: Oh sure you could, you’d fight with Cinatoria till the end, send both of you into early graves.

Wlavnox: See that’s my point, I love Cinatoria she’s one of my greatest friends, but I could never love someone how I love you.

Thlalix: Well cheers to that because you’re stuck with me, and the floor plans are finished, not just for the weaponry, but the house on top.

(Thlalix rummages through his slightly rugged messenger bag, and hands him the floor plans which are in almost pristine condition.)

Wlavnox: We’ll get the life I promised you?

Thlalix: Become weapon dealers, a few kids, and be together until our body clocks stop ticking? You always stay true to your word.

Wlavnox: I’d be the universe’s biggest fool not to promise that.

Thlalix: You’re one of the smartest people I know, but especially when it comes to those you care the most.

Wlavnox: If we’re going to have a life together, maybe bring a few kids into it, of course I’m being smart with my mouth.

Thlalix: Is this your way of telling me you want to got back to our list of baby names?

Wlavnox: Not yet, a bunk bed?

(Wlavnox pulls out a blue ballpoint pen, and adds “not metal” underneath the sketch of the bunk bed.”

Thlalix: Well we were always on the same page about having more than one kid, are you making notes?

Wlavnox: Kids move around a lot in their sleep, and I’m not dealing with the squeaking.

Thlalix: Yeah I see your point, had a look at our room yet?

Wlavnox: I’m not going to complain about a queen sized bed.

Thlalix: You might complain about the property, maybe the shop floor too.

Wlavnox: I’m not on that bit yet, where’s the shop gonna be anyway?

Thlalix: You know the Dravenphae’s?

Wlavnox: The bookshop owners?

Thlalix: Near them.

Wlavnox: That empty property down the road? Far too snug.

Thlalix: You see it as too snug, I see it as the right size for everything.

(Thlalix flicks to the shop floor design, all of the plan is properly executed, perfectly planned out.)

Wlavnox: Bazooka section?

Thlalix: Brought us together did they not? You said if you ever had a business, there’d be bazookas in there somehow.

Wlavnox: Part of our history, that’ll be right on the walls.
