Chapter Text
She finally had cleaned all of the hair off the floor. She didn't know what she was feeling, was it a relief? Stress? Fear? She didn't know.
She's staring at the ceiling, someone was going to see her eventually, was she ready for that? She would have to find out eventually.
Jack runs into her room “Rachel! Adam won't let me stay with hi- Woah new haircut?? Coolio!!” He has his typical childish smile on his face.
Rachel just smiled back at him ”Thanks kiddo. You wanna stay here with me?” She tried not to cringe at her voice. Why did she have to sound like that, she hated it.
“Mhm!! I want cuddles!” Jack whines. He's always been a clingy child, which she was used to. She opens her arms and Jack tackles her in a hug.
“Oof! careful kid, you're getting too big for this!” She says with a chuckle. She may have been confused, but Jack always helped.
At least she had him.
