All the couples Lee knows express their love in some active, often loud way. They hug, they argue, they laugh, they talk… And they seem so much happy.
“Are we happy?” he stops his exercises and asks out loud.
Shino waves to the swarm he was training to make them fly away, and look at him: “I am. Very. Are you?”
Lee thinks about the feeling that arises in him just looking at his boyfriend. He thinks about the sense of belonging. About how he never feels lonely anymore. How he feels loved.
He smiles broadly: “Yes! Yes I am!”
