Chapter Text
The day after Share came back.
“Doorframe, I am still wondering how Eucerin hasn’t fired you yet. He fired Share for showing up late but you rarely show up.” Tiery watched as Doorframe put on his apron and stood next to him. “I don’t know either! He must like me if he’s letting me forget so much!” Doorframe froze. “Wait, Share got fired?”
“Yeah? Did you not show up so much that you forgot that Share got fired?” Tiery started logging into the register. “Anyways, go talk to Eucerin and see what he’s gonna make you do today. Probably something bad since he doesn’t like his workers just vanishing.” Doorframe nodded and walked to Eucerin’s office. The door swung open in his face. “Who are you? Did I hire someone new?” Eucerin looked down at Doorframe. “Oh. It’s just you, Doorframe. You need to start seriously showing up more. A couple more times and you’ll be like Share.”
“Yea…Yeah…” Doorframe picked himself up off the ground. “I don’t know what you’re gonna do today. Maybe just like….Clean? Do what everyone else does? I don’t even know.” Eucerin shut the door. “IS SHARE BACK?” DON’T was “running” all over the place (can’t really run if you’re just a floating entity) “No?” DON’T stared into Doorframes eyes. “I HEARD HIS NAME.” Doorframe shivered. “Um……Tha….That..was Eucerin talking to me.”
“Oh. Of course it’s Eucerin mentioning that prick’s name.” DON’T floated away. Doorframe just slowly walked back to where Tiery was, sitting at the register. “What did he say?” Tiery asked. “Just said if I don’t show up for a couple more days that I’ll end up like Share.” Tiery sighed. “Of course that’s what he said.”
“Let’s just work the registers, there’s two more over there. I think DON’T said he’s working at the register soon. He just needed to have a talk with Eucerin.”
– (speaking of the talk with eucerin!!)
“Hey DON-” Eucerin spun in his chair to face DON’T. “I need you to not mention SHARE ever again.” Eucerin laughed. “Erm…..why?” DON’T grabbed Eucerin’s neck. “YOU KNOW WHY.” Eucerin looked up at DON’T. “Aw….can you..” Eucerin struggled to speak. “Tell me..why?” DON’T put down Eucerin. “I shouldn’t even HAVE TO EXPLAIN. GOODBYE.”
DON’T slammed the door as Eucerin slouched in his chair and sighed. “Sometimes I wonder why I even took this management position.”
–
DON’T walked out of Eucerin’s office and floated over to the register next to Doorframe. “I hope Share never comes back…” DON’T kept whispering to itself.
The 3 started taking orders, DON’T still obviously pissed, Doorframe scared of Eucerin and DON’T, and Tiery just….being Tiery…
-
Cane’s Cup was singing to himself while making himself a drink. “Why do you even make drinks for yourself everyday? Aren’t those for the customers?” Doorstopper asked Cane’s Cup. “What’d you say?” Cane’s Cup took out his airpods. “I’m not gonna repeat.” Doorstopper walked away, but on her way she bumped into Sippy. “Hiii!! Whatcha doing with that gun?” He took Doorstoppers gun and started to look at it closely. “Isn’t that illegal?”
“I’m protecting my grass.” She snatched her gun and went out to the front of the shop. “Oh…okay!” Sippy happily walked away. “Notepad!” Notepad flipped to a new page which had a heart on it and just said “hey sippy”
–
The door swung open, Share had come back again. He cheerfully walked up to DON’T’s register and leaned on the counter. “I’m back!” Share let out a nervous laugh.
“I DIDNT EVEN WANT YOU TO COME BACK! WHY ARE YOU STILL HE-” “I want the same thing as last time!” Share had the biggest smile on his face. “It was so good that I just….wanted to come back?”
“At this point, just accept he's gonna come visit you.” Tiery shrugged, and DON'T’s body started moving uncontrollably. “I think he's mad.” Doorframe was backing away from the register. “I think it'd be best if I-” Doorframe ran out the door. Tiery sighed. “Yeah that's probably the best you can do.”
“I hate you so much, Share.” “I love you too DON'T! You're like my best friend, even if you're a little mean sometimes.”
“LOVE? I DON'T EVEN LOVE YOU! CAN YOU NOT HE-” DON'T stopped himself and turned to Tiery. “Go get someone to make Share’s drink.” Tiery just nodded and looked around. “Eyepatch.” He found the guy just sitting at a chair with a plastic pirate sword in his hand, for some reason.
“Yeah?” Eyepatch turned around. “Make that drink everyone comes in for at around this time.” Eyepatch’s face became emotionless. “Tiery you can just sa-” Tiery stared at Eyepatch, “No, and put that sword down.” “Well yar har I’m gonna go make that for them.”
Back at the register, DON’T was still furious, and Share was just slightly afraid. “So, DON’T, how has it been without me?” Share asked, still waiting for his drink. “AMAZING.” DON’T hissed. “That’s great DON’T!” Share smiled. “Have you been missing me?” “NOT AT ALL” DON’T was uncertain with saying ‘not at all’, every time Share has been mentioned there was a weird feeling within DON’T. Not anger, but something else. Finally, Eyepatch rushed and handed Share his drink and Share skipped out the door.
“You say you don’t miss him but what about that conversation wi-” DON’T covered Tiery’s mouth. “NO.” “Alright then.” Tiery muffled.
