Buck ignored Eddie's calls and messages. Eddie was sure their friendship was over... until one day, not even a week later, his phone rang.
"Buck?"
"Hi Eddie! Listen, is there any chance you're close to Central Park."
"Yeah, why?"
Eddie heard some screams coming from the direction of the park and at the same time he heard a loud crashing sound through the phone.
"Buck, what's going on?"
"I may need some help from your friend."
"You mean... Venom?"
"Yeah. He's strong, right?"
"Yes, very."
"Good. I need him to distract someone. Preferably stop the guy from moving. But without hurting him!"
"Understood. We're on our way."
"Great. Just follow the trail of trees ripped from the ground."
"Who are we stopping?"
"Rhino."
"Rhino?!"
"Sorry, gotta go. See you soon!"
"Buck! Wait!"
Eddie hesitated but before he processed what was going on his body was covered with black smoothness of Venom and they were jumping like an animal through Central Park.
"Finally! We're gonna have some fun!" Venom snarled in excitement.
And the battle was glorious.
