Head cannon thoughts:
I think sunny and Juno were pretty close, not like besties but like tethering on that line of friend and close friend. And even though Greg was grumpy and kinda rude the other three would always offer to eat their meals with him where he’d otherwise just eat alone. Dante and Juno have a sibling like relationship.
Epilogue thoughts:
Two or three years after this Dante and Juno now rent an apartment, at the very top of the complex, together and are roommates. Dante has become a college professor for science and Juno went back to school to get her masters.And Sunny and Greg still watch over them, going to ‘visit’ their families and other things At this time scientists have figured out a way to talk with the ghosts through a radio like thing and they got here hands on it. They already assumed something was messing with them, things moved, the tv on late at night, and once late at night Dante saw the figure of Greg. After some departing they eventually tried it and found out it was Sunny and Greg, and heard their voices again. After this Juno wanted to talk to them a lot while Dante still had lots of emotions on the subject, still feeling guilty for both of their deaths. But after time it got better and healed. All of them and created a sort of system. They made a yes no system and a white board for the ghosts to write on only. But every wednesday and saturday they have a hang out. What they do changes but lots of the time they like to set up a ladder onto the roof of their apartment and watch the stars and chat like how they used to.
Though the ghosts still leave and do their own things, the crew has in a way joined back together. They have made a promise to each other that when the time comes they will all be ghosts together, even if it’s just for a little bit.
