Chapter Text

He saw a man lifted into the air by his throat with ease, his face was one full of pain his face was barely visible since blood was everywhere on his face, his lips a dark shade of indigo he could just make out, no no he could not witness a murder. He already saw one after the act, but in the act? No way.

Before he could help. a dark sticky pool of blood splattered across the ground as a dull knife slowly breaks through the man’s skin with a loud disgusting squelching sound

the attacker let out a sinister laugh, seeming to be amused by the sound. Xie lian could not see the man completely, but he could see a red gleaming eye, filled with pure fury towards the man he was torturing.

He could feel his heart drop to his stomach in a matter of seconds when realisation dawned on him that this was real.

The man drew a deep ragged gasp, blood pooled out of his mouth as he drowned in it.

he was about to wail for anybody crossing by to help him, but as soon as he let out a sound, the person holding him up, slammed him onto the ground with immense power and hatred, he treated them like they were a doll.

Xie lian couldn’t help him…not when he had no weapon on him, it was a man with a knife and whatever else he had on him, verses Xie lian with no weapon at all, so Xie lian sat in the dark corner of the alleyway.

Xie lian almost cried out in pain himself when the man’s leg was twisted in a way that shouldn’t have been possible.

it was twisted so easily like you were twisting water out of your clothes.

Xie lian couldn’t take it anymore, he reached for his pocket to get his phone to call the police. but when he patted down on it…he was met with nothing…oh no, what was he supposed to do dang it!

the man was rolled onto his back forcefully, before his head was lifted up and slammed on the ground thrice before his suffering ended, or…he wished.

all traces of his fighting disappeared as he sagged down lifeless, as he almost seemed to be boneless.

a voice of a man rung out to the unaligned man..talking with a deep hatred like he had done something terribly wrong.

”be grateful your ending wasn’t as painful as that damn other traitors!”

he spat out…if this wasn’t painful, Xie lian didn’t want to know what painful was.

Xie lian sat up, running out of the alleyway, taking a glimpse back, to see the man staring at him, his cold eyes sending a shiver down his spine, then he sprinted off…running as fast as he could away.

The adrenaline lasted for awhile before he came to a bus stop sitting down, he didn’t even know if what he just saw was a hallucination! Feng xin and Mu Qing always says he’s hallucinating…yeah maybe that wasn’t even real! That wasn’t real, you didn’t witness a murder, not at all, that’s just your mind playing tricks on you.

he took a couple minutes to ease his panting, before he sat up and walked the rest of the way home.

but when walking back home he couldn’t help to think maybe he should listen to Feng xin and visit a doctor, what if he truly was sick in the head.

finally he opened the door open to his house, eek it was quite chilly in here, he must’ve accidentally left the window open or something.

he wanted a glass of water since he was still quite sweaty from all of that running he did, so he made his way to the kitchen, flick in the lights on.

The first thing he noticed was one of the knife’s missing from his collection..don’t get him wrong it might’ve been weird for him to have an obsession with knife’s but it wasn’t his fault really?!

suddenly Rouye purred, chasing out to him before submerging himself in the dark agaunz

he tiptoed around the dark house, before coming by to a  stop at his bedroom door, he opens the door and turns the light on.

before he was staring at a man on his bed…drenched in blood, oh my goodness, his eyes piercing red!! This surely had to be the man from before…only…he was kind of, attractive? Xie lian knew he hadn’t seen his true appearance from the dark of the alleyway.

“Get out of my house before I call the cops!”

Although he knew he couldn’t since he lost his phone, it was better to act like he could.
