“Uuuuughhhghh”
I squint open my eyes, the room was dimly lit
I can’t feel my body
I also can’t move my head
I look around me the best I can but either way I don’t recognize anything.
I start to regain feeling in my hands
I look again just in case, the beige wallpaper and wooden floors bring nothing to mind.
Damn
“Where am I?” I gurgle out, not that anyone can hea-
“Boxten!, oh thank goodnes-“
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH”
I pant a little and look over to the direction of the sound, still can’t move much.
I glance at the corner of the room there seems to be only shadows, I think I can see a faint reddish-blue glow though.
“Ahem, anyway. Boxten its good to see you awake.”
The mysterious person states
“I know you must have a lot of questions, which i will awnser just not right now. I need your help first”
I stare tight lipped in fear, I don’t know who that is! What if they kill me after they use me!!! What, what if the-
“I know this is a lot to take in, and i know I wasn’t always in the best to you, considering the accidental nightmares and all.”
The mysterious per- wait what
“A-Astro, is that you?”
I hesitantly ask
“Oh-oh of coarse, excuse me I forgot to say who I am” astro splutters out before continuing “I’m sorry Boxten I didn’t mean to alarm you” i see the light get a little closer paired with light footsteps, Astro stops right before he reaches the end of the shadow.
He seems to hesitate
“N-no it’s fine” It’s not i was scared shitless but anyway I start to sit up finally before continuing, “But um, how did i get here?”
“You don’t remember what happened? His voice wavers
“U-um no, I-I don’t think so” I’m concerned now, i rack my brain really quickly
“The last thing I remember was getting attacked, . . . and passing out.”
I got my head slammed into a machine
I don’t remember anything after that
How did i get here
Astro sighed before starting “You uh got twisted, I found a cure and revived you with it.”
I stared at him wide eyed
I should’ve guessed, obviously I twisted. Passed out and no memory up till now. Cure- wait
“CURED, You developed a cure!” I get up on my knees, getting ready to walk over to where Astro is.
“Well its a little more complicated then that but yes, yes i did.” He backs up a bit and continues
“That’s beside the point I need your help first”
“Oh ya of-coarse what do you need Astro”
I’m fully standing now ready to move.
“Go through that door” He points towards a door behind me, his arm pokes out it looks slightly larger then usual, but i don’t know how long I’ve been uh “asleep” so maybe he grew?? I don’t know, doesn’t matter, whatever.
“And turn right, the elevator should be open. It’ll bring you to where you need to go, I’ll meet you there.
“Ok, alright, yup! I’ll see you there” I wave quickly and head to the conveniently placed door i didn’t see. I follow his instructions and indeed as Astro said there was the open elevator, i hop inside and it shuts immediately scaring me slightly.
The elevator virs to live and starts descending the floors
What an eventful . . . 30 minutes.
Can’t wait for what’s in store, totally, definitely not nervous, not at all.
“He he he heeeee-“ I distressingly sigh out.
