Chapter Text
Mabel sat over her computer. The sight before her was almost unnatural. Never before had she felt such excitement. Not in years, not for so, so long.
But what she saw was true, no possible alternative explanation, no other data could dare disprove the truth.

”Dogecoin is going up, bay-beeeeeeee!”
The panicked sound of Pacifica was unmistakable, kicking down the door, the blonde woman wasted no time.
”Mabel, if you through our deposit money on this again, I swear!”
The struggle to reach her computer took effort, especially when her sister-in-law was keeping her on the ground, but she had the strength she needed. As she got close, she knew no one could stop her.
She could risk it.
“Mabel!” Pacifica cried out in unimaginable horror.
”Relax,” she replied. “It’s my money for this week. That will be it. Promise.”
From the look she was given, it was clear that she hadn’t spoken most convincingly.
