Chapter Text
The waves,
they’re strong,
that's what you knew for sure, the dark abyss of the sea swallowing anything that had the misfortune of falling into it, and there was no escape from it, no matter how hard one would try, and you knew that, as you couldn't help but watch with glee as one man after another was swallowed into the waters, they called out for help, they called out for rescue but no one would answer these men no one would answer but the merciless waves of the sea.
“What a pathetic bunch…”
You told yourself, as your eyes kept staring at the humans rushing around on the boat and slowly you crawled off the stone that kept you raised above the deadly waves, your heavy tail being dragged behind you as you used your arms to get back into the sea, letting yourself get swallowed up by the merciless waters as your strong tail swished behind you, helping you navigate through the waters. You looked up, one body after another began sinking, you swam towards them as you checked their clothes, thick, armored with a weapon on the back of each one that had fallen into the abyss.
Hm soldiers..
not too fond of those are you?
He opened his eyes and you widened your own
You didn't even spare him a second to catch his breath (ironically) and your teeth have ripped open his throat.
Do not leave anyone alive Do not leave anyone alive Do not leave anyone alive Do not leave anyone alive Do not leave anyone alive
You licked your lips as you breathed out letting the blood flow into your throat as it clouded your vision, leaving the water around you coloured a deep red. You licked your lips as you let go of the body, letting it sink to the bottom of the ocean. Swimming back up to the surface merely letting your eyes hover above the water, your hair flowing around you, you weren't afraid of being spotted, the rain and dark clouds gave you enough coverage to stay unseen and it didn't even matter if they did spot you, because no matter what they’d do, your teeth will end up tearing through their flesh anyway.
Your eyes fixated on the men running around with their guns and armor, oh how it filled you with disgust, such filthy beings they are.
Swimming back down you checked the boat and there,
Four screws fixated with a slab of metal, having been used to sloppily fix a hole that must have been there
And that was all that you needed
Your sharp nail finding the gap, your hand clamping down onto the piece of metal. Using all your strength you flexed your muscles, ripping off the entire piece of metal from the boat
The water flowed, being sucked into the boat like a wormhole.
No man on that boat will survive, you will make sure of that.

“Sir- we lost them, t-the ship we’ve lost the signal to them-”
They panicked, an entire ship filled with marines, how many of them were there? 100? 200?
Too many marines, how?
Three military vessels have sunk in the Pacific now, over the span of merely six weeks.
It couldn't have been just the bad weather…
“Where was their last recorded location?” ,he barked out.

Sitting on lonely stones that protruded out of the water at the west coast of Mexico,
you took your rest. A cigarette hanging between your fingers as you let out a puff of smoke, looking down at the cigarette box in your hand you moved it a little, your eyes roaming over the box you’ve managed to steal from one of the soldiers on the ship. You don't know how it managed to stay dry as your finger trailed over the elegant writing “real English brand!”
your hair clinging to your body as you let the warm wind warm you.
Your tail has already split, your legs finally having formed again
Standing up on the stone you stretched your arms and looked into the warm sun, feeling the beads of water dry on your skin as you let out a sigh, breathing out slowly, the pale blue waters below you crashing against the majestic boulders that you stood on. The sky was clear now and there wasn't a single cloud in sight as each and every single ray of the sun shone and burned your now dry skin.
One eye closed from the brightness as you lifted your hand to block out the sun.
Breathe in
Breathe out
ah …
You hesitantly climbed down the large boulder, you had to get used to your legs again, especially after spending weeks out in the sea and now you couldn't help but long to dance again. It was always Oh so much fun, afterwards you could always get yourself a nice snack too!
Walking along the empty beach you headed for a lonely tree standing high and mighty above all, there you had kept some clothes and money buried, so you wouldn't have to keep stealing random peoples clothes and stuff…

The streets were loud, filled with music and dance as the salty smell of fish stung in their noses. The ocean, which seemed to be exactly by the little village, had waves crashing down on the port, which could be heard from afar, yet the music in the square overpowered the sounds of the mighty waves. Strings, drums and bells tolled as you danced in the middle of it all. With bare feet you glided over the rugged stone both the anklets and bracelets on your body chimed with your movements creating pleasant sounds as you moved your body to the rhythm, captivating all eyes around you. Smooth skin, long flowy hair, sharp eyes that pierced through the crowd, all that beauty presenting itself in the middle of it all, decorated in seashells and pearls. Your body moved like water, pulling one specific man's gaze towards you, his eyes narrowing at the sight of your precious frame.
Your hands above your head as you moved one leg after another, your bare feet gliding across the stone floor, dancing like no one else could,
How inhuman of you.
